U.S., Social Security Death Index, 1935-2014Edward John Kilmuszko, 80, of Marianna died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, at Jackson County Hospital following a sudden illness.
He was a native of Poland and spent most of his lifetime in Gulf Breeze, moving to Marianna four years ago from Orlando. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the First Baptist Church of Marianna. He was retired from the Civil Service as a mechanical engineer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Hollister Kilmuszko of Marianna; one son, Jan D. Kilmuszko and his wife, Faye of Pensacola; one daughter, Patricia Ferraris and her husband, Peter of Southington, Conn.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m. at Lord Funeral Home Chapel will the Rev. Harry Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot in Cypress Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Hospice or a favorite charity.
Voncile Hudgens, 86, of Marianna died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, at Jackson Hospital.
She was a native of Pinkard, Ala. and has lived in Jackson County since 1939. She earned her nursing degree from Moody's Hospital School of Nursing in Dothan. She worked at Jackson Hospital for more than 30 years as a RN supervisor. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club both locally and nationally, and a member of the First United Methodist Church for more than 58 years.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ansel Hudgens and a sister, Evelyn Wikle.
She is survived by one brother, John F. Hudgens of Dothan, Ala.; one sister, Rose Ellen Solomon of Dothan, Ala.; one nephew, Harry Wikle Jr. of Panama City Beach; one niece, Mary Evelyn Bailey of Fernandina Beach; four great-nieces, Terry Thaxton of Marianna, Debbie Cooper of Chipley, Kimberly Mixson and Miriam Hannigan, both of Lake City; two great-nephews, William Bailey Jr. of Tampa and Danny Wikle of Marianna; several great-great-nieces and nephews; and several great-great-great-nephews.
The funeral will be held Friday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m. at Maddox Chapel with the Rev. Fred Zeigler Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Pinkard, Ala. Cemetery
with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

Emory A. Runkle, 34, of Quincy died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Arrangements will be announced by James and Sikes Funeral Home Sneads Chapel.
Mr. Charles Henry Jones, 71, of Malone, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, at his residence.
Mr. Jones was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. He loved old time gospel and bluegrass music and could play most of the instruments. Mr. Jones enjoyed his horse and wagon and vacationing in the Smokey Mountains. Most of all, he loved his family.
Survivisors include his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Glendora Faye Jones, of Malone; sons Dale Jones and wife Tammy, of Chipley, Tommy Jones and wife Cathy, of Tallahassee, Jimmy Jones and wife Angela, of Malone, and Billy Jones and wife Karen, of Cottondale; daughter Glenda Jones and friend Jim Austin, of Bascom; sister Vermell Hall, of Malone; grandchildren Keith, Jesse, Jermey, Amanda, Kevin, Lindsey, Andrea, Ciara and Kayla Jones, Kaitlan and Kaylee Taylor, Melinda Baxter and Crytal Evans; four great-grandchildren and a special niece Judy Brown.
Services for Mr. Jones will be held Monday, Sept. 15, 2003, at 10 a.m. in the Friendship Baptist Church with Brother Van Clout and the Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Stephen D. Traynom, 56, of Valrico, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003.
A native of Nashville, Tenn., he was raised in Pensacola and lived in the Brandon area for the past 16 years. He was a U.S. Army artillery officer and a Vietnam veteran.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jimmie (Hamilton) Wiles.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; son, Spencer Traynom; daughters, Carrie and Courtney Traynom, all of Valrico; father, Otis Traynom, and his wife, Joyce, of Marianna; brothers, Jim Traynom and his wife, Stephanie, of Gulf Breeze, Bob Traynom of Texas , and Richard Traynom and his wife, Evelyn, of Marianna; sister, Pamela Behringer and her husband, Mike, of Lithia; and a large extended family and friends.
The funeral will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Stowers Brandon Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, at Barrancas National Cemetery

Pamela Kaye Sellers, 41, of 16817 West U.S. Highway 84, Newton (Wicksburg), died Tuesday, Sept. 9, following injuries sustained in a car accident in Barbour County, Ala.
She was born May 19, 1962, in Donalsonville, Ga. and lived the early years of her life in Malone where she also attended high school. In 1981, she moved to Dothan and was employed with Dothan Specialty Clinic for 14 years. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved her husband, mother, other family members and animals very much.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Sellers, and grandparents, Henry and Betty Simms and Whit and Merle Sellers.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Sorrells of Newton; her mother, Betty Lazell Sellers of Malone; a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Paula Sellers of Panama City; an aunt, Mary Sellers of Dothan; two nieces, Kristal Sellers of Panama City and Erica Sellers of Malone; and a very special dog, "Beudreaux."

Ida M. Spires, 85, of Bonifay died Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.
She was a native of Holmes County, a retired educator, and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Bonifay where she served as musician and several capacities of the church and state convention. She was matron of Gardenia Chapter No. 42 O.E.S.
She is survived by her son, Danny Spires; a sister, Anna Phillips of Bonifay; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to a service of memory honoring the life of Ms. Spires on Friday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, North State Street in Bonifay.

Mildred C. McDougald, 85, of Chipley died Friday, Sept. 5, 2003, in the Southeast Medical Center in Dothan, Ala.
She was a native of Walton County and resided in Washington County for more than 50 years. She was the widower of the late T J. McDougald, an ardent member of Jerusalem Baptist Church, serving in several capacities, was secretary of Gardenia Chapter No. 42 O.E.S. and a state convention worker. She was an educator for 39 years and a member of the Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by five children, Thomas E. McDougald (Deloris) of Houston, Texas , Marilyn Wallace of Panama City; Carolyn McDougald (James), Sylvia Ward (Kenneth) of Chipley and Gregory McDougald of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Leona Brown of Orlando and Venear Palmer of Tampa; four brothers, Cam Campbell of Warner Robins, Ga., Walter Campbell of Panama City, James Campbell of Mississippi and Madison Campbell of DeFuniak Springs; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.

Yvonne Sexton Barber, 66, of Marianna died at her residence Thursday morning, Sept. 11, 2003, following an extended illness.
She was a retired human resource worker II from Sunland. She was a lifetime resident of Jackson County and of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Round Lake Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Guilford R. Sexton; her mother, Mary Ethel Sexton; brother, Sgt. Major Robert C. Sexton; and a sister, Glenda Nell Gray.
She is survived by one son, Ray Barber of Arlington, Texas ; one daughter, Melinda Barber of Marianna; one brother, Wallace Sexton of Newburn, Tenn.; one sister, Edith Locke of Gainesville, Ga.; a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Martha Lynn Sexton of Newburn, Tenn., and Gloria Sexton of Fort Bragg, N.C.

Emory Asa Runkle, 34, of Quincy died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
He was employed as a correctional officer at ACI in Sneads for the past three years. He had worked at Florida State Prison in Stark before moving to this area. He graduated from Backholz High School and attended Santa Fe Community College.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Mosley Runkle of Quincy; one son, Skylar Kinder; one daughter, Brittny Pesek, both of Quincy; his parents, Asa and Sarah Margaret Runkle of Gainesville; two sisters, Amy Edwards and her husband, Dean, and Mitzi Shanie and her husband, Charlie, all of Jacksonville; and one niece, Sarah Brooke Edwards, and a nephew, Devin Alex Edwards, both of Jacksonville.
