He was a signal maintainer for the New York City Transit Authority and a jet engine mechanic in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War from 1953 to 1956. OCKERS, Peter Herman William, 87, of New Port Richey died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003. Born in Garfield, N.J. he moved here 54 years ago from New Jersey. He was a real estate broker, and a US Coast Guard veteran of World War II. He was a Christina, a member of Gulf Harbors Yacht Club and the Optimist Club in New Port Richey, and a member of the Florida Sheriff's Assn. He is survived by one sister, Dolly Sharockman of Hudson, Fla.; and companion, Elizabeth Allotta, NEw Port Richey.
