MONAHAN, Thomas, 88, of Tarpon Springs died Nov. 24, 2002. Survived by wife, Margaret; daughter, Patricia Soto; three brothers; one sister; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

MONTGOMERY, Walter `Pappy`, 95, of Tampa, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2002. He was a loving father, grandfather and was of the Pentecostal faith. He is survived by his daughters, Edna L. Ritchie of Tampa, Mary Kimbrell of Seffner, Margie Mitchen, and Glenda Jernigan, both of Dover; son, Verlyn Montgomery of Plant City; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Garden of Memories Chapel, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa with Rev. Joel Joiner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

NELSON, Alice Cleveland, 87, of Lakeland, died Nov. 22, 2002. Survived by one daughter; two sons; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

NUSSBAUM, Herbert, M.D., 91, of Arlington, Va., died Nov. 25, 2002. He is survived by one son; one step-daughter; and five grandchildren.

PEREZ, Marcos, age 33, of Tampa passed away Friday, November 22, 2002. He is survived by his wife Tammy; his parents, Croberto and Marta Perez of Spring Hill; sons, David Anthony, Paul and Kevin; daughter,; Destiny; brothers, Croberto, Jr., and Orlando; sisters, Yesenia Businelle, Zerah Perez; and a host of family and friends. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, 1p.m. at Boza Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa with interment to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

PERKALL, Selma Gale, age 92, passed away on November 23, 2002. Mrs. Perkall was born September 13, 1910 in Fort Meade, Florida and has been a resident of Hillsborough County since 1922, a graduate of Hillsborough High School in 1929. Survivors include her son, Dave Gale of Dover; daughter, Wanda Farr of Bradenton; stepson, Robert Hill of Plant City; nephew, Sam McAuley of Fort Meade; grandchildren, Leslie, Jason, Nicole and Kelly; and great-grandson, Zachary. A Memorial service will be on Sunday, December 1, 2002, 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Dover. Congregation, family and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Dover.

PRUETT, Billy Frank, 47, of Tampa passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002. He was born in Birmingham, Ala., and lived in Tampa since 1987. He is survived by his wife, Janet; sons, Jeremiah and Joseph Pruett, and William and James Ball; parents, Billy and Jo Ann Pruett; brothers, Larry, Michael and Joel; and grandson, Joseph. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. at the Glass Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Alabama.

RODRIGUEZ, Hilda M., 78, native of Havana, Cuba and resident of Tampa since 1961, passed away Sunday November 24, 2002. Survivors include her sister; Olga R. Companioni; her nephew; Dr. George Companioni and his wife, Patricia, her great-nieces, Lisa and Lauren Companioni, all of Tampa. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Marsicano Funeral Home, 4040 Henderson Blvd. Casketbearers are; Dr. George Companioni, Manny Garcia, Manny John Garcia Paquito Ferrer, Manny Cueto, Nestor Manuel Cueto, Raulito Isern and Pedro Isern, Jr. Honorary Casketbearers are; Micheal Buell, Richard Alvarez and Tom Alchediak. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

SHARPE, Lee, Jr., 70, of Tampa, died Nov. 21, 2002. He is survived by wife, Miriam; five daughters; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at New Birth Baptist Church.

SMITH, Fannie B. `Fran`, 88, of Tampa, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2002. She is survived by her loving family, brothers, G. Leo Barker, S.H. Barker and Paul L. Barker; sisters, Laura McCorkle and Edith B. Key; and many nieces and nephews. Fran was a member of Seminole Heights Baptist Church since 1958. A Church service will be held Today, Nov. 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Seminole Heights Baptist Church. A private interment will take place Wednesday at Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family ask those wishing, please make donations to The Gideons International, Tampa NE Camp, PO Box 7812, Tampa, FL 33673 or to Seminole Heights Baptist Church, 801 E. Hillsborough Ave., Tampa, FL 33604. The Family will receive friends one hour before service time at the church.

SULLIVAN, Eileen Mary, 37, of Tampa, Florida passed away Saturday November 23rd, 2002. Eileen is survived by her loving husband of 3 1/2 years, David Hood; daughter, Cara Walker; mother, Joan and Jim Coleman; father, Michael and Peggy Sullivan; sister, Erin and Ron Behers; brother, Patrick and Susan Sullivan; and also by her extended family Jeffrey, Janet and Julie Coleman and Mathew Deloach. Eileen was born January 18th, 1965 in Milwaukee, Wis. and the struggle for her life was lost Saturday just as quickly as it had begun. Eileen's warm heart and rich passion for life will never leave those of us that she touched so dearly. Eileen's family was by her side as she slipped quietly into the next world though her loving memory will never be gone. Though Eileen's short time on this earth was filled with many obstacles, she was always full of life and everyone thoroughly enjoyed her outgoing personality and wonderful sense of humor. This last obstacle was one which Eileen could never have overcome. It is with extreme sadness that we bid Eileen farewell but are heartened to know that God has taken her to be with him. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 26, at 7 p.m. at Patrick and Susan Sullivan's home: 16109 Marshfield Dr. Tampa, FL 33624. WHITELEY, Frank Richard (Smokey), passed away Nov. 13, 2002 after a brief illness. Smokey graduated from LSU and was a Lt. in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. He moved to this area from Texas in 1955. He was in the custom cigar business. Smokey was known locally and nationally as a duplicate contract bridge player and has played with the best. He will be missed by his companion of 40 years, Rosa Levy and all who knew him for his keen mind and his cigars. Neptune Society of Palm Harbor

ZIMMERMAN, Raymond George, 59, of Riverview, died suddenly at South Bay Hospital Nov. 24, 2002. Mr. Zimmerman was a rural postal carrier for the Valrico U.S. Post Office. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1965 to 1969 and was a member of the U.S.A.F. Band. Mr. Zimmerman taught school from 1975-1984 at East Bay High School, Blake Middle School and Webb Jr. High School. He was past Exalter Ruler of the Ruskin Elks Lodge #2672. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacon and Ann Schill Zimmerman; a son, David Hill; and daughter, Toni Hill. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Mary Jane Zimmerman; daughters, Natalie (Thomas) Morris of Waverly, N.Y. and Sue (Harry) Lewis of Winston-Salem, N.C.; son, Robert (Sue) Hill of Taberly, N.Y.; a sister, Ann Trykowski (Norman) of Tallahasse, Fla.; nephews, Donald (Adrienne) and David (Sarah) Trykowski; niece, Lisa DeGannes; and great-nieces, Arielle and Karis. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at Lewers Funeral Home with Father Patrick Irwin officiating. A memorial Elks service will follow.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Edward; daughters, Joyce, Debbie and Theresa; brother, Edward; sister, Eleanor; and eight grandchildren, Melissa, Tera, Kimberly, Nicole, Jason, John, Eddie and Katie. Pallbearers will be Rick, Tim, Jason, Neal, John and Eddie. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 11 a.m. at Fivay Greenfield Cemetery, Kent Grove Dr., off Hwy. 52, Pasco County, Fla.

CORDOVA, Edith, 86, of Brandon, passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2002. Preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Julian Cordova and her son, Jerry Cordova. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Ross of Tampa; six grandchildren including Shelly Olsson, Amber Hester and Stacey Reisinger; and four great-grandchildren. A native of Hot Springs, Ark., she has resided in the Tampa area since 1991 coming from California. She was a retired hairdresser and Mrs. Cordova loved to ballroom dance and travel. Private services were held.

COX, Rebecca Heaton, 75, of Gibsonton, Fla., formerly of Williamsburg, Ky., passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Cox Sr. and a son, Leon Cox. Survivors include her four sons, Clarence `Edddie` Cox Jr. and wife Bobbie of Gibsonton, Fla., Raymond David Cox and wife Ann of Plant City, Fla., Douglas Arnold Cox and wife Karen of Valrico, Fla., and Harold Glenn Cox of Seffner, Fla.; her daughter, Freda Wilson of Gibsonton, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Heaton of Blanchester, Ohio; one sister, Mary Allen of Covington, Ky.; several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Eldon Joe Heaton officiating. Burial will follow at David Addition Highland Park Cemetery, Williamsburg, Ky.

ENGLE, Helen S., 78, went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2002 at St. Joseph Hospital in Tampa. Formerly of Smyrna, Delaware, Mrs. Engle had resided in Tampa with her niece, Mrs. Betty Sanchez. She retired from Education after teaching for 30 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Engle. Mrs Engle is survived by loving family members in Fla. and Del. She was laid to rest in Del. on Nov. 19. A memorial Service will be held on Monday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. in the Buchanan Baptist Church, 808 West Bearss Ave., Tampa. GOSS, Imogene, 80, passed away November 25, 2002 in Brandon. Born in Licking, Mo., she moved to this area in 1987. She was a Methodist, a Homemaker, a member of the Eastern Star and a World War II Marine Veteran. She is survived by her son, R.G. (Charlie) Goss; daughters, Toni Mahs, Terri Haight and Trudie Goss; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your local `Save The Manatee` organization. A Memorial Service will be held on November 30, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillsboro Memorial F.H.
