She is survived by her loving daughters, Smokie McDonnell, Betty Jo Stanley and husband, Leonard, Darlene Copeland and husband, Robin Hall, Frances Rutcha, Rita Breheney and husband, Ed, and Teddie Mendoza and husband, Rudy; brothers, James Monroe Thomas, Cairo, Georgia, Otis Thomas, Calvary, Georgia and Bobby Thomas, Havana, Fla.; sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bell was cashier at Pop & Son's Restaurant on S. Dale Mabry Hwy. Funeral services will be held on Friday November 22, 2002 at Concordia Baptist Church, Concord, Fla., with interment to follow in Concord Cemetery, Concord, Fla. DAVIS, Howard Martin, Lt. Col. USAF Ret., 77, of Seffner passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2002. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years, enlisting in World War II. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Seffner and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He is survived by his wife of eight years, Beatrice; daughters, Diane (Stephen) Kurvin, Norma (Don) Neal, Joyce (Wayne) Allen, Janice Mattison; brother, Roy Gene (Leta) Davis; sisters, Helen Woldhagen and Doris Wilson; grandchildren, Kimberly, Cory and Robert Kurvin, Donald and David Neal, Daryl, Debbie and Daniel Allen, and Samuel and Clark Mattison; one great-grandchild, Micah; and four step-children and their spouses. GONZALEZ, Jane Marie, 67, of Tampa passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Ramon A. Gonzalez; daughters, Jane Pilar Gonzalez and Ava Teresa Gonzalez; sons, Nicholas, Louis and Anthony Gonzalez, all of Tampa; a brother, Lewis Dicillo of Calif.; a sister, Martha Smith of Tampa; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Ramon A. Gonzalez, Jr. in 1979. HENSLEY, Thomas Marshall,Sr., 83, of Valrico, Fla. passed away Nov. 15, 2002 due to an extended illness. Born on Dec. 11, 1918 in Barboursville, W. Va., he lived in Huntington, W. Va. before moving to St. Petersburg, Fla. in 1970 and then to Valrico in 1989. A graduate of Marshall University, Huntington, W. Va., Mr. Hensley was a Vocational Rehabilitation counselor for the State of Florida before retiring in 1986. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Anna Jeanne Hensley of Valrico; sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Pat Hensley of Gainesville, Ga., Stephen and Frances Hensley of Huntington, W. Va.; grandchildren, Tommy and Anna Hensley of Gainesville, Ga., and Elizabeth Hensley of Huntington, W. Va.; brothers, Raymond Hensley of Milton, W. Va., and Eric Hensley of Chesapeake, Ohio; nephew and wife, Bernard and Donna Bias of Valrico, Fla.; niece, Joan Marvin of Valrico, Fla. There will be a private family memorial service. LANDRY, David M., 70, of Sun City Center died November 3,2002. Following graduation from high school, he was awarded a football scholarship to Norwich military Academy. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Sociology, he became a journeyman Tool and Die Maker after serving a four-year apprenticeship. He retired as Director of Personnel for Combustion Engine Company in Windsor, Connecticut, and was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church. Survivors include his wife Elsie; two daughters, Deborah McEdward and Valerie Forti; a son, David E.; a brother, Donald E.; and five grandchildren. A reception in honor of David will be held in the West Social Room of the Kings Point Club House on Sunday, November 17, 2002 from 2 to 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. VENTO, Anthony `Bo`, 61, passed away quietly in his sleep, Thursday, November 14, 2002. He was a native of Tampa, a graduate of Jesuit High School, class of '59, and the University of Tampa. He was preceded in death by his father, Sam P. Vento, founder of Vento Oil Co., of which he later became president. He was a member of the Ybor City Optimist Club, Italian Club, former member of the Tampa Sports Club and charter member of the Krewe of the Knights of Sant Yago. He was an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, LSU Tigers, and Florida State Seminoles. He is survived by his high school sweetheart, June Parrino Vento; his children, Anthony A. Vento, Jr., Susanne Vento Powers and husband, Jon M. Powers; mother, Catherine C. Vento; sisters, Antoinette Capitano and husband James Capitano, Cathy Jo Hellner and husband Clay Hellner; and brother, Sam P.
