HELFFRICH, Donald L., 77, of Tampa passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2002. He was preceded in death by, his loving wife of 30 years Elsie Lucille. Survivors include three sons, John Allsbrook of Virginia Beach, Va. Daniel Allsbrook of Las Vegas, Nev., and Robbie Helffrich of Milton, Fla.; five daughters, Anita Joyner of Chesapeake, Va., Donna Helffirich of Milton, Fla., Denise Walker of Salt Lake City, Utah, Janice Sue McCullough of Utah, and Robin Garcia of Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Jean Melrose of South China, Maine; his companion, Betty Neal of Tampa; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. A native of Huntington, N.Y., Mr. Helffrich lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1970 coming from Chesapeake, Va. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater in World War II and also in the Korean Conflict. He worked as a postal clerk with the U. S. Post Office for 21 years. McCOY, Earl H. `Junior`, 56, loving son and brother, went to be with Jesus, Wednesday, November 13, 2002 in his home after a long illness. He was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. A native of West Virginia, he resided in Florida for over 38 years. For many years, Junior owned and operated McCoy's Television Repair Shop. He was preceded in death by his dad, Earl McCoy, Sr.; and brothers, Mike and Richard Wayne McCoy. Survivors include his mom, Marshaline McCoy of Tampa; brother, Reverend David McCoy and wife Gay of Heyworth, Ill.; and sisters, Helen Wright of Albermerle, N.C., Patty and husband Lester Phinney of Maryville, Tenn., and Linda and Wayne Hand of Tampa. She was also a member of the National Nurses Association.
