KOULIANOS, Petros, 90, of Holiday, died Tuesday, November 5, 2002 at home in Holiday. He was born in Kalymnos, Greece and moved to Florida from Greece in 1967. He was a retired ship crew supervisor in the Merchant Marines in Greece. He worked in the sponge industry in Tarpon Springs for four years and then became a coffee expeditor at Louis Pappas Riverside Restaurant in Tarpon Springs for 12 years. Petros was a Greek Navy Veteran of World War II and a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Tarpon Springs. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ipapanti Koulianos of Holiday; three sons, Emanuel Koulianos of Durham, N.C., George Koulianos of Holiday and Pantilis Koulianos of Palm Harbor; one brother Elias Koulianos; one sister, Violenta Gatis, both of Kalymnos, Greece; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 7 at 12:00 noon at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Burial will follow at Cycadia Cemetery. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to New Port Richey from East Meadow, Long Island, N.Y. in 1975. She was an EKG Lab Technician for Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, Long Island, N.Y. with over 25 years of service and of the Lutheran faith. Survivors include her son, Kenneth Loeffler of Alpharetta, Ga.; daughter, Jean C. Berezuk of Spring Hill; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was born in Dickinson, N.D., and raised in Mansfield, Ohio, where he began his flying career with Bud Harrington. He was a highly decorated Air Force Pilot, who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam and later retired from service in Orlando, Fla. after 28 years of active duty. Anton is survived by Josephine; his seven children; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
