William H. Jolley Jr.
William H. "Buck" Jolley Jr., 80, of Lake Panasoffkee died Sunday (Nov. 19, 2000) in Leesburg. Born in Atlanta, he moved to Lake Panasoffkee in 1977 from Tampa. He was a decorated veteran of World War II and a former POW in Romania. He was awarded two Purple Heart medals and several Air medals. He was retired from Eckerd Drug of Florida and was a retired Lt. Col. with the Air Force. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lake Panasoffkee. Survivors include his son, Robert E. "Bob" of Weeki Wachee; daughter, Nancy J. Services for Mr. Jolley Jr. will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 22, 2000) at First United Methodist Church of Lake Panasoffkee in Lake Panasoffkee with the Rev. Delbert King of First United Methodist Church of Lake Panasoffkee officiating. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Lura E. Perry, 79, of Eustis died Saturday (Nov. 18, 2000). Born in Hibbing, Minn., she moved to Eustis from Leesburg in 1959. She was a retired church secretary for St. Thomas Episcopal Church of Eustis and was a member of the church. She was also a member of Camellia Garden Club of Eustis. He served as the recreational commissioner for 14 years in Garden City, N.Y., lifetime member of the American Dental Association, member of the Dental Society of New York and the Nassau County Dental Society.
