SPENCE, Jean I., age 67 of Lost Creek, W.Va., died Saturday evening, November 10, 2001 at United Hospital Center following a brief illness. She was born in Clarksburg, W.Va., on June 24, 1924, and lived in Tampa, Fla. for 34 years. She is one of the daughters of the late Bernard Iaquinta and Catherine Martino Iaquinta. Her husband, Dominick Spence survives. Also surviving are two sons, James Jo seph Spence of Sardis, W.Va., and Carman Louis Spence of Tampa, Fla.; one daughter, Roxann Spence Walsh of Lost Creek, W.Va.; one brother; five sisters; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother. She worked at the Hazel Atlas in Clarksburg for several years and retired from Walmart in Seffner, Fla. in 1993. She was laid to rest in the West Virginia National Cemetery in Prunytown, W.Va.

TREGLER, John J., Lakeland, age 90, died November 29, 2001. Survived by three children; two sisters; and several grandchildren. Services are Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2 p.m.

VASQUEZ, Librada, age 84 of Tampa, passed away November 29, 2001. A native of Loiza, Puerto Rico and resident of Tampa for 13 years, Mrs. Vasquez was a member of the Casa de Alavansa Iglesia Pentecostal and is survived by her husband, Ramon; son, Hector Vasquez; daughters, Augusta Castro and Maria Marrero; fourteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

WATERFIELD, Mary Louise 83, of Valrico, Fla., passed away November 29, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Bill; two sons, Bill M. Waterfield and wife of Redmond, Wash., and Richard B. Waterfield of Odessa, Fla.; six grandsons; and three great-grandchildren. A native of Bayonne, N.J., Mrs. Waterfield came to Valrico in 1974 from Staten Island, N.Y. She was Catholic and served her country duri ng World War II as a Naval Nurse, and later retired as a hospital nurse in 1985. Funeral services will be held Monday 10 a.m. at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3 until 5 p.m. Hillsboro Memorial 689-8121

FRASSRAND, George H., 71, of St. Joe, Fla., passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001 in Dade City, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.S. Frassrand; and one brother, Lawrence Frassrand. He is survived by his five siblings, Louise Cannon, Waynesboro, Ga., Mathilda Frassrand, St. Joe, Fla., Arthur and Nita Frassrand, St. Joe, Fla, Theresa and Edward Quinn, Holiday, Fla., Agnes and Harold Hufstetler, Tampa, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. He was born July 9, 1930 in St. Joe, Fla., and was a lifelong resident of this area. He was active in owning and managing Citrus Groves. He was a US Army Veteran and was a member of the V.F.W. Post #4283 in Dade City. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at S t. Joe Cemetery. Friends may call Monday (tomorrow) from 5-8 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where a Rosary service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Flowers will be gratefully accepted, but those that wish may make donations to the Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Inc., c/o 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, Fla 34667.

KIMBALL, Richard `Dick` Allen 78, passed away November 29, 2001 in Zephyrhills. Survived by his wife, Myrtle of Zephyrhills; daughter, Deborah Ostrofsy of Conneaut Lake, PA.; son, Howard Kimball; daughter, Rebecca Valentino both of Hinesbnrg, VT.; grandchildren, Johanna and Erik Ostrofsky of Meadville, PA., Crystal and Heath Owen of Hinesburg, VT., and Colin and Lindsay Kimball of Hinesburg, VT .; two brothers, Robert Kimball of Glens Falls, NY, and Norman Kimball of Sheldon, VT.; several nieces and nephews. Richard was born April 23, 1923 in Enosbnrg Falls, VT., the son of Howard F. and Mildred Croft Kimball. He graduated from Enosburg Falls High school, and Walton School of Commerce in Chicago, IL. with a B.S. in Accounting, Licensed as a CPA in 1950. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 156 3rd Corp. of Engineers, and served 14 months in the Pacific Theater in Okinawa, He had a CPA Business in ST. Albans, VT., and was a cost Accountant for General Electric Company in Burlington, VT. 1952 1983, and a Shelburne Museum Interpreter 1991- 1998. He was a member of the Alliance Church of Zephryhills, and the Community Alliance Church of Hinesburg, VT. He served as a Boy scout Leader for several years, and as a School Board member, and CVU auditor in Hinesburg, VT. He also served as an elder and Sunday School Teacher in the Hinesburg Church. The present church originated in his home. His hobbies and interests were studying and teaching the Bible, photography and stamp collecting. Funeral services will be held in Hinesburg, VT. Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2001 at First Christian Church, with Rev. Denise Plants officiating. Interment will follow at Oakside Cemetery. The family will receive frie nds from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 2 at the funeral home. Richard was a Veteran of the Navy serving in World War II in Pearl Harbor, a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, and the pearl Harbor survivor Association, owner of Dick's Lawn Mower Service in Zephyrhills for 40 years, and a member of the First Christian Church of Zephyrhills.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joseph Carl Schmitz, Zephyrhills, Fla.; two daughters, Connie Ashmore and Karen Garner, both of Zephyrhills, Fla.; one son, Daniel Schmitz, Zephyrhills, Fla.; three sisters, Julie Gribble, Ohio, Beth Bement and Barbara Switzer, both of Zephyrhills, Fla .; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was born April 19, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio. She retired from the Zephyrhills Veterinary Clinic having worked for Dr. Mason as a Veterinarian Assistant for many years. NEFF, Susie K., 87 of Zephyrhills passed away on Dec. 1, 2001 at Hernando/Pasco Hospice Care Center in Dade City. She is survived by her husband, Lewis; two sons and daughter in-law, James L. and Clona of Indianapolis, Steven D. and Janice of Orland Park, Ill.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild as well as many friends. A native of Indianapolis, she and Lewis (married for 66 years) mov ed to this area in 1979 from Sarasota. Susie retired from J.C. Penny Department Store in 1974 where she worked in the credit department. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing golf. She had been past president of the P.T.A. at Ernie Pyle School #90, a volunteer for the American Red Cross at the Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis, as well as a 50 year member of the Eastern Star North Park Lodge. FISHER, Raymond S., 74, of Sun City Center, formerly of Pottstown, Pa., husband of Alice (Wentzel) Fisher, died November 18, 2001 at South Bay Hospital. Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Edith and Raymond S. Fisher Sr. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving during World War II. A 1945 graduate of Pottstown High School, he was employed by the US post office in Pottstown and later in Augusta, Ga., Pensacola, Fla., Miami and other points. In 1966, he was transferred to Washington , D.C. He retired as assistant to the US postmaster general. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Pottstown. He was predeceased by two brothers, Paul Kenneth and Roger A. Fisher; and one sister, Catherine R. Fisher. In addition to this wife, he is survived by one son, Scott E. Fisher of Renton, Wash.; one daughter, Pamela R. Fisher of Key West, Fla.; two sisters, Mildred A. Schaeffer of South Barre, Vt., and Barbara A. Hartman of Greentown, Pike County, Pa.; and six grandchildren. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by Lewers Funeral Home, Ruskin.

GINKE, Noyel H., 85, died November 30, 2001. Survived by one brother, Robert; and two sisters, Audrey Roethlisberger, Beverly Schuhart. He was a World War II Army veteran.

GRIGGS, Kenneth I., 72 of Tampa passed away, Friday, November 30, 2001. Survivors include wife, Esther G. of Tampa,; daughter, Shelia M. McIntyre of Tampa,; brother, Mike Griggs of Pittsburg, KS,; two sisters, Linda Lunberg of Pittsburg, KS, and Judy Meyer of Charles City, Va.; two grandchildren, Micheal K. Blackwell and Courtney Ray McIntyre both of Tampa. Mr Griggs, was a longtime resident of Tampa, he was of the Lutheran faith, He retired as a Tsgt. from the U.S. Air Force after 24 years of service, he also served four years in the U.S.M.C. Worked 18 years for G.T.E. as an Inventory Managment Specialist. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2001 at the Stowers Brandon Chapel, the family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
