CRABTREE, Evelyn K. `Boots`, 83 of Brandon, passed away Friday, November 2, 2001, after a lenghty illness. Survivors include, her husband of 62 years, William I. of Brandon,; one son, Michael of Brandon, four daughters, Lynn of Tampa, Nancy Carpenter of Brandon, Kathy of Tampa, and Karen of Brandon,; four sisters, Frances Keister of Inverness, Mary Ruth Keister, of Valrico, Elizabeth Ring of Or lando, and Kathryn Murray of Inverness,; three grandsons, Jarrod Carpenter of Brandon, Matthew Crabtree of Brandon, Ian Wackholt, of Tampa,; one granddaughter Kristen Striplin of Anchorage, AK,; one great-grandson, Eric Striplin of Anchorage, AK, and one great-granddaughter, Ashton Carpenter of Tampa. She was born in Norfolk, VA on August 4, 1918, she had been a resident of Florida most all of her life and had lived in Brandon since 1968. Boots was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, November 8, 2001 at 7:30, the family will receive friends from 6:30 til 7:30 at the funeral home. Survivors include his beloved wife of 38 years, Roseann Ehlert; son, Michael Ehlert; brother, Nelson Calzon and wife Shirley; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Wayne and Diana Witt. Mr. Ehlert was a Computer Systems Analyst with Custom M.F.G. and Engineering. He was a Valedictorian graduate of Jefferson High School Class of 1960. He graduated from U.S.F. with high honors. He was a Boyscott #240 Troop Leader, a member of Suncoast Linux User's Group, Public Access Cable Station, where he was awarded the 12th annual Golden Video Award.
