She is survived by her husband, Eugene Louis; son, Carl Frantz of Roseville, Calif.; two daughters, Theresa Kiyoko Hewlett of Tampa, Fla. and Kathleen Chiyoko Frantz of Nashville, Tenn; and two grandchildren, Justin David and Jordan Alexander Frantz. She has resided in the Tampa area since 1978 coming from Osaka, Japan, she voluntered in the community whenever she could even when she was sick. JOHNSON, Juanita Doss `Jo`, widow of the late George W. Johnson, died October 27, 2001 at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Fla after a long decline. She would have been 87 November 15, 2001. She is survived by her only child, Tallahassee, Florida attorney, Barrett G. Johnson; her sister, Mrs. Ray Broerman of Indianapolis, Ind.; her brother, Dr. Wayne Doss of Springfield, Mass.; her grandson, Ca ptain G. W. Jett Johnson, USMC; her granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson Davis; three great- grandchildren; a niece and three nephews. Mrs. Johnson was born in Evansville and was a 1932 graduate of Bosse High School. She and the late Mr. Johnson, who was from New Harmony, Fla.,lived in Tampa for many years, where both were active in civic and educational affairs. She was a member of the New Harmony Ord er of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. Interment will take place in Maple Hill cemetery in New Harmony, Fla. on Wednesday, following services at the Johnson Memorial Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will take place immediately prior to the services.
