Edward Paul Keifer Sr., 87, of Jacksonville Beach, died March 29, 2003. He was born Sept. 25, 1915, in Philadelphia and moved to the beaches four years ago.
He is survived by his son, Edward Paul (Barbara) Keifer Jr. and grandchildren Michael and Michelle Keifer.
A service was held April 1 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, with the Rev. William Kelly officiating. Interment was in Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery. Quinn-Shalz, A Family Funeral Home, Jacksonville Beach.

He is survived by his parents, Antonio L. King and Consuella Renee Lennox of Jacksonville Beach; brothers Michael King and Avery Evans Jr., and sister, Brianna Lennox.

Dolores A. MacTaggart, 87, of Ponte Vedra Beach, died March 26, 2003. She was born Oct. 1, 1915 in Chicago and moved to Ponte Vedra Beach 20 years ago from Pennsylvania .
She is survived by her sons, Glenn MacTaggart of San Antonio, Texas , and Ian R. MacTaggart of New York City and other relatives.
Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Ponte Vedra Beach, with Monsignor Daniel Logan as celebrant. Interment was in the Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery. Quinn-Shalz, A Family Funeral Home, Jacksonville Beach.

Aidan Lucas Trask, 4 months, died March 26, 2003, following a brief illness.
He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Tammy Trask of Jacksonville Beach; grandparents, Betty Wilson, Jackie and Sue Wilson and Timothy and Janice Trask, and aunts and uncles Chris and Amey Kelley, Dustin and Sherry Stayton, Matt and Christal Wilsey, Timothy Trask and Thomas Trask.
A memorial service was held Monday in the chapel of Quinn-Shalz, A Family Funeral Home, Jacksonville Beach.
John Dempsey Tudor Jr.
John Dempsey Tudor Jr., 85, of Ponte Vedra Beach died March 27, 2003, at Cypress Village in Jacksonville. He was born April 15, 1917, in St. Louis, Mo., and moved to Ponte Vedra Beach in 1999 from Virginia.
He was a Marine veteran of World War II and formerly owned an academic supply company. His wife, Ruth Tudor, predeceased him in 1991.
He is survived by his son, Thomas Tudor of Fairfax, Va.; daughter Janice (Emory) Sellers of Ponte Vedra Beach, and grandchildren, Emerson Sellers and John Sellers, both of Ponte Vedra Beach.
Graveside services will be held at the Memorial Cemetery

Linda Ray Murphy Brewer, 49, died peacefully Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at her home. She was born July 11, 1953, in Virginia Beach, Va., and moved to Jacksonville Beach 27 years ago.
She is survived by her uncle, James (Gwen) Murphy of Virginia Beach.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m., today, Feb. 7, at Hanna Park, with Chaplain Jess McCrokey officiating.

Harold Cruz

Harold Cruz, 88, of Ponte Vedra Beach, died Feb. 4, 2003, at his home. Born on Feb. 13, 1914, in Lake City, Fla., he was a retired industrial engineer technician for the government. Mr. Cruz was a World War II veteran, serving in the Army Air Corps and was a member of St. Paul's By-The-Sea Episcopal Church, where he was a two-time senior warden, chalice minister, an administrator, Episcopal layman and Sunday School superintendent. He was a leader in Boy Scouts of America, a member of the Beaches Kiwanis Club and a Gator Booster.
He is survived by his wife Elsa; son Hudson; daughters Barbara and Elizabeth; stepchildren Randolph and Richard Hjelm; grandchildren Patrick, Crystal, Alan, Coleen, Tanya, Kristina, Wade and Max; three great-grandchildren, and many other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at St. Paul's By-The-Sea Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Dr. David L. Jeffery and the Rev. Sudduth Rea Cummings officiating. John Thomas Dalton, 45, died Feb. 1, 2003. Born Oct. 19, 1957, in Pascagoula, Miss., he, moved to Jacksonville Beach from Debary, Fla., three years ago. He was a member of the Isle of Faith Methodist Church and was a computer programmer for Georgia Pacific.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie Dalton; children Ashley, Bobby and Andrew Dalton; mother Martha Oliver of Debary, and sister Phyllis Mathesen of Deland, Fla.

Infant John David Giles III, son of John David Giles Jr. and Brandy Bell of Atlantic Beach, died peacefully shortly after birth Feb. 4, 2003.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by paternal grandparents John David Giles Sr. of Atlantic Beach and Candy Leedom of Atlantic Beach, and maternal grandparents Cindy Crews of Baldwin, Fla., and Walter Bell of Baldwin.

Russell Golding, 85, of Jacksonville Beach died Tuesday, Feb. 4, at his home. He was a career naval officer and World War II veteran and was awarded the Purple Heart.
He is survived by sons Timothy Golding of Springfield, Va., and Jim (Sandy) Golding of Jacksonville Beach.
