Mr. Romano is survived by his wife, Vicky; son, Michael Jay; daughter, Michelle Ann, all of Ruskin; father, Jasper, Sr. of Redwood City, Calif.; mother, Ermie R. Thorsell of Tampa; brothers, Tony Romano of Dade City, Fla. and Stevie DiMemmo of Calif.; sisters, Tina Wiertelar of St. Louis, Mo., Pat Romano of Calif. , Jo Counce of Corith, Miss., Anna West of Tampa, Tomasina Feulner of Cape Coral, Fla., and Junie Gomez of Calif.; maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Guggino of Tampa, numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Born in San Francisco, he moved to Ruskin in 1960 from Calif. Mr. Romano was a member of the Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was in the construction business. Mr. Romano was a very loving and caring person, and will be deeply missed by his family. A visitation will be held at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Apollo Beach on Sunday from 3-5:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at 5:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be private on Monday. SISTRUNK, Louie Wilson 83, of Seminole, formerly of Tampa, died in the Seminole Nursing Pavilion Thursday, January 4, 2001. Born in Shell Pond, Levy County, Florida he moved to Seminole from Tampa in 1997. He is survived by his son, Albert W. Sistrunk of Tampa; a stepson, John F. Maples of Seminole, Florida; a brother, Perry A. Sistrunk of Ocala, Florida; four grandchildren and three great-gran dchildren. He was the former Vice President and Trust Officer of Exchange Bank, now N C N B - Bank of America, in Tampa. He is preceded in death by wives, Elizabeth F. Sistrunk in 1966 and Georgia E. Sistrunk in 1999. He was an Army veteran of World War II; a member of the Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church, Tampa and the Oakhurst United Methodist Church of Seminole;, the Retired Officers Asso ciation of MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa; Sun City Center Rotary Club where he was a Honorary Harris Fellow; Master of the American Camellia Society; Certified Life Insurance Underwriter since 1951; Charter member of the Saint Andrews Society, Tampa; Member of the Florida Genealogy Society; the Huguenot Society; the Salsburger Society of Savannah, Georgia; and a 7th generation of the Florida Pioneer Family and a graduate of the University of Florida. A memorial service is scheduled for Monday 11:00 a.m. in the Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church in Tampa.

STONE, James Wendell, Jr., 30, passed away on January 4, 2001 at his parent's home. He is survived by his wife, Heidi; his children, Debbora Kay and James Connor; his stepson, Jonathan L. Hart; and his parents Jim and Audrey. Born January 30, 1970, in North Carolina, he moved to Tampa in 1982. In his short years, he has helped many people through their trying times, assisted anyone who asked an d was ther for friends at every turn. He wsa a wonderful father, husband, son, and friend. SWAILS I, Lonnie Allen, 38, of Lutz passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2001 in Lutz. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; son, Lonnie A. Swails II; daughter, Krystian Tiler Swails, all of Lutz; father and step-mother, Loyd and Ruby Swails, Riverview; mother and step-father, Robert and Jone Fernandez, Tampa; brothers, Loyd Swails, Jr., Tampa and Rickey Baxley, Riverview; sisters, Diana McFarland, Brandon and Cynthia French, Venice, Fla.; and maternal grandfather, William Smith, Okeechobee, Fla. A native of Tampa, Lonnie worked with Auto Glass Express and S&D Glass and raced at Sunshine Speedway and East Bay Raceway. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Monday and the chapel of Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Rd. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. TAGGART, Edna, 94, died Sunday, December 31, 2000. She is the widow of Tom Ray Taggart. She is survived by three daughters: Dorothy Guilmette of Colo., Mitzi Jacobsen of N.C., and Billi Taggart of Belleair, Fla.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters. She was born in Logan County, Ky., and moved to Tampa in 1949. She was a past Queen of Daughters of the Nile.

TALLEY-GEORGIA, Kirby, 87, formerly of 6625 Gulf Drive, Panama City Beach, Fla., died January 4, 2001 in a local hospital. She is survived by sons Kirby and Pick II and his wife Pam, and daughter Robyn Rudell and her husband Elliott and grandchildren John and Summer Talley, Liberty Worth and her husband Jay and victory Rudell. A native of East Orange, N.J., she had been a resident of Bay County , Fla. since 1962, when her husband was stationed at Tyndall A. F. B. She was retired from Civil Service and was a member of the St. Andrews Bay Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Panama City Duplicate Bridge Club and the Holy Nativity Episcopal Church. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband Pick. According to her wishes, a family service will be held in Panama City Beach at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Nickle Tedder, two daughters: Mrs. Robert (Jodie) Stamey and Mrs. Barry (Claudia) Owens, a brother Fred Tedder and sister Ellen Crowther, grandchildren: Claire Dalton, Travis Owens, Brandon Owens , and two great-grandchildren; Megan Rembert and Timothy Dalton. Mr. Tedder retired from a long executive career in the textile field. He honorably served his country in World War II with the 11th Armored Division in Europe. He attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and the University of California in Berkley. He was a devoted husband and father, avid golfer, lover of music and life and a life long member of the Disciples of Christ Christian Church. Lyle Lane, Brooksville, Fla., Milton Lane, Tampa, Fla., Richard Lane, Owego, N.Y., Delbe rt Lane, Harpursville, N.Y., Bruce Lane, Bethlehem, Ga.; one brother: Howard Deats, Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister; Josephine Lane, Greene, N.Y.; 41 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, 23 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.She was born August 11, 1905 in Scranton, Pa., and moved to this area eight years ago from Owego, N.Y. BEVERLAND, Linda Louise, 58, passed away Wednesday morning, January 3, 2001. Linda is survived by her loving husband Jack of 42 years, and her three cherished children and their spouses, Dusti and Ron Lynn of Crystals, Fla., Traci and Rick Neely of Wesley Chapel, Fla. and Durk and Cindy Beverland, also of Wesley Chapel, Fla. Linda also leaves behind a wonderful legacy of ten grandchildren whom she adored. Linda was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in December of 1996, and had fought bravely and gracefully against this tragic illness. Linda Louise Wilson, daughter of Saunders and Louise Wilson, was born October 10, 1942 in Largo, Fla. Linda attended Largo Public schools where Linda fell in love and married her high school sweetheart Jack `Jacky` Beverland on October 15, 1958. Linda was a member of the North Boulevard Church of Christ. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2001, 10:00 a.m. at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Worked with and owned Terminix Co. in Lakeland, Tampa and Sarasota for over 25 years. He was president of Condominium/Commercial Services until his retirement. Phil was a very active member of the American Legion, Post 138 and also a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. He was a past member of Tampa Sports Club, Merrymakers Club, Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla and several pest control associations. A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Episcopal Church. The family will receive friends at the Harbor House (recreation room), 2401 Bayshore Blvd. following the service.

FAZIO, Lucia, of St. Augustine, Florida passed away December 25, 2000 at Integrated Health Services of Brandon where she had been a resident for the past six years. She was 98 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and her son, Tommy. Survivors include her daughters, Mamie Wade, St. Augustine, Melinda Moraine, Ft. Myers, Lucy Evans, St. Augustine and sons, Sam Fazio, Tampa, Dr. Frank Fazio, St. Petersburg, Joe Fazio, Jacksonville and 27 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. A native of Augusta, Sicily, she immigrated to the United States with her husband in 1920. She was buried December 30 in a private ceremony next to her husband in San Lorenzo Cemetery in St. Augustine.

HAGGLUND, Clemens, 87, of Tampa, died December 25, 2000. Mr. Hagglund was born January 11, 1913 at Providence, Rhode Island. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Hagglund, of Ossining, New York; his son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Susan Hagglund of Tampa, Florida; and his sisters, Evelin Holland and Pauline Siemaszko of Harwich, Massachusetts. He graduated from Upsala College, East Orange, N ew Jersey in 1938 and the University of Miami College of Law, Coral Gables, Florida, in 1953. He practiced law in Miami from 1953 until 1976 and in New Smyrna Beach, Florida from 1976 until his retirement in 1992. In the early 1970's served as chief of the Civil Division of the United States Attorney's Office in Miami. He was an avid tennis player, and during the 1960's, he managed numerous youth baseball teams in South Miami, Florida. A memorial service will be held on January 11, 2001 at 3:30 PM at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, 3712 El Prado Blvd., Tampa, Florida.
