FELIX ``PHIL" ORTOWSKI, 78, of New Port Richey died Friday at North Bay Hospital. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved to the area 20 years ago from Whitestone, N.Y. He was a warehouse worker for R.H. Macy's, an Army veteran of World War II, a Catholic and a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans and the Florida Silverhaired Legislature. FAVATA, Angelo F., age 55, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2000 at University Community Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Zoraida M. Favata; his sons, Sean F. GARCIA, Anna L., 87, of Tampa died Tuesday October 3, 2000, in her sleep. Surviving is her son Alan Garcia, Tampa, Fla. Born April 19, 1913 in Naniamo, British Columbia, Canada, she was the daughter of the late John and Jennie Griffith Smith. She resided in the United States since 1925 when her family settled in Nanticoke, Pa. She resided there for 8 years, New York, N.Y. for 36 years and the Tampa Bay area for 31 years. In her early life, she was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church in Nanticoke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Garcia; and by brothers John, Charles, George and Ben Smith; and sisters, Catherine `Kate` Troy, Edith `Sis` Thorne and Helen Yaple Thorne. Services will follow in Nanticoke, Pa., at a later date with interment in Wilkes Barre, Pa.
