Laura Jones Tensley of Lake Wales, Fla. died Friday, November 19, 2004 at Winter Haven Hospital. She was 80.
Mrs. Jones was born on August 7, 1924 in Georgia. She came to Lake Wales from Bartow, Fla. 62 years ago.
Mrs. Tensely was a personal sitter for Nethercott Agency. She was a member of the First Institutional Missionary Baptist Church of Lake Wales.
She is survived by a son, Leonard Butler of Lake Wales; a daughter, Gail Bryan of Lake Wales; a brother, London Jones, Jr. of New Haven, Conn.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the First Institutional Baptist Church.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 27 at 11 a.m. at the First Institutional Baptist Church.

Robert L. "Bud" Waddle
Robert L. "Bud" Waddle of Lake Wales, Fla. died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004 at Winter Haven Hospital, Winter Haven, Fla. He was 79.
He was born Dec. 31, 1924 in Arab, Ala. He came to Lake Wales from Miami, Fla. in 1990.
He was the retired owner and operator of James Maintenance Service in Miami. He was a member of the New Harvest Worship Center on Walker Street in Lake Wales and an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He enjoyed family gatherings.
Mr. Waddle was preceded in death by his wife, Lorah Boyd Waddle in 2001.
He is survived by two daughters, Leigh "Nelda" Kemmitt of Huntsville, Ala. and Laquetta Leal of Lake Wales; a brother, James Waddle of Live Oak, Fla.; a sister, Evelyn Knight of Lake Wales; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Sunday, Nov. 21, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 22, at the funeral home with Reverend John Hodge officiating.
Interment was held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.

Raymond S. Wilkins, Jr.
Raymond S. Wilkins, Jr. of Lake Wales, Fla. died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004 at the Lake Wales Medical Center. He was 86.
He was born in Media, Pa. He moved to Lake Wales eight years ago from Lebanon, Pa.
Mr. Wilkins was a retired truck driver, delivering for Wonder Bread. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Glenna M. Wilkins.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret M. Wilkins of Lake Wales; a daughter, Jeanette Moore of Laurel Springs, Vt.; a son, Raymond S. Wilkins, III of Merchantville, N.J. and one grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m. at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.

George LaVern Wynn
George LaVern Wynn of Lakeland, Fla. died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004 at his residence. He was 74.
He was born Dec. 1, 1929 in Glenwood, Ga. He moved to Lakeland 36 years ago from Melbourne, Fla.
Mr. Wynn was a retired market supervisor after 47 years with Publix Supermarkets. He was a Lake Wales High School 1947 graduate. He was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and served on several committees.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathryn P. Wynn of Lakeland; two sons, Norris L. Wynn of San Juan Bautista, Calif. and Dennis L. Wynn of Lakeland, Fla.; a daughter, Janet W. Baskin of Carrollton, Ga.; two sisters, Arwilda Johnston of Lake Wales, Fla. and Blondell Perry of Tampa, Fla. a brother, A. LaMont Wynn of Tallahassee, Fla. and four grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday, Nov. 29, from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral services at the Parkview Baptist Church.

Janice Y. Hancock
Janice Y. Hancock, 63, of Sebring, died Saturday, April 12, 2003, at Highland Regional Hospital in Sebring.
Born Jan. 7, 1940, at Fort Meade, she was a longtime resident of Polk County.
Survivors include her brother, Maurice B. Hancock of East Ridge, Tenn.; two daughters, and two grandchildren.

Edith L. Stevenson
Edith L. Stevenson, 91, of Fort Meade, died Monday, April 7, 2003, at Bartow Center.
Born March 7, 1912, in Cambridge, Ohio, she moved to Fort Meade five years ago from DeLand. Ms. Stevenson was a beautician and a Methodist, as well as a lifetime member of VFW Auxiliary #8093, DeLand.
Survivors include three sons, Bill Markle of Fort Meade, David Markle of Washington, Pa., Richard Stevenson of Cleveland, Ohio; her daughter, Elizabeth Kovic of Bethel Park, Pa.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: At McLean Funeral Home on Thursday, April 10, from 6 to 8 p.m., 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade.
Funeral: At McLean Funeral Home on Friday, April 11, at 11 a.m.

Tomasa Dionicio
Tomasa Dionicio, 24, of Fort Meade, died Sunday, May 25, 2003, at Barrow Community Hospital in Winder, Ga.
Born Aug. 13, 1978, in Guerrero, Mex., Mrs. Dionicio moved to Fort Meade 10 years ago. She was an operator/customer service representative.
Survivors include: her husband, Alfonso Garranza of Winder, Ga.; mother, Guadalupe Gomez of Fort Meade; two brothers, Alejandro Peralta and J. Alfredo Dionicio of Fort Meade; and one sister, Anayeli Dionicio of Reading, Pa.
Visitation: Tuesday, May 27, from 6 to 8 p.m., at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade.
Funeral: Wednesday, May 28, 10 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, with Father Norman Farland officiating.
