PIERSON -- Annie W. Bryant, 84, of Volusia Avenue, a former employee of the Jacksonville Crate Co., died Saturday at Florida Hospital DeLand.
A native of Mount Vernon, Ga., Mrs. Bryant moved from Baldwin to DeLand in 1973, and relocated to Pierson in 1986. She was a member of Pentecostal Full Gospel Church where she served on the usher board. Mrs. Bryant enjoyed cooking, gardening and participating in community outreach projects.
Survivors include a son, Charles, Daytona Beach; a daughter, Cornelia Barrett, DeLand; a brother, Joe King, Baldwin; a sister, Laura Logan, Pierson; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Mack, DeLand, is in charge.

ORLANDO -- Patricia J. Lane, 87, of Orlando, the mother of DeLand resident Edward Johnson Jr., died Thursday at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach.
Ms. Lane, a retired newspaper proofreader, was born in Chicago. She moved to Orlando in 1961 from Shelbyville, Ky. Ms. Lane enjoyed reading.
Additional survivors include a son, George Johnson, Seattle; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Carpenter-Curry, DeLand, is in charge.

PORT ORANGE -- Joseph T. Posa, 70, of Wembley Circle, a native of New York City, died Sunday at Florida Hospital-Ormond Memorial.
Mr. Posa, a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, moved to this area in 1993 from Smithtown, N.Y. A retired painter, he enjoyed dancing, traveling and entertaining.
Survivors include four sons, Joseph Jr., Hummelstown, Pa., Billy, Saylorsburg, Pa., Doug, Centereach, N.Y., and Tyrone, Kings Park, N.Y.; two brothers, Frank, Port Orange, and Vito, Lynn, Mass.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Cardwell & Maloney is in charge.

DAYTONA BEACH -- Veronica Rowe, 93, of South Nova Road, a resident since 1984, died Saturday at Horizon Healthcare.
Mrs. Rowe, a homemaker, was born in Hamhung, Korea, and moved to this area from Cincinnati in 1984. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth, Daytona Beach; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Volusia Memorial, Port Orange, is in charge.
Ronald Storch

DAYTONA BEACH -- Ronald Storch, 77, of Granville Circle, a publisher of the East Volusia Shopper until 1982, died Friday at Bridgeview Nursing Home, Ormond Beach.
Mr. Storch, a Navy veteran who retired in 1966, was born in Pittsburgh and moved to this area from Honolulu after his retirement. He was also involved with East Volusia TypeSetters until 1990. Mr. Storch was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the Fleet Reserve Association.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ruth; three sons, Stephen, Alexandria, Va., Frederick, Warren, Mich., and Gregory, Pittsburgh; four daughters, Laura Kuftic, Daytona Beach, Deborah Morris, Clinton Township, Mich., Barbara Weaver, Magnolia, Texas, and Suzanne Heim, Manassas, Va.; a sister, Linda Gatton, Port Orange; and 20 grandchildren. DAYTONA BEACH -- Sharon M. Bak, 58, of Auburn Drive, a native of Utica, N.Y., died Sunday at Florida Hospital-Ormond Memorial.
Mrs. Bak moved to this area in 2003 from Coconut Creek. She enjoyed gardening and music.
Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Ted; two daughters, Rhonda Yacks and Donna Niezgodski, both of Daytona Beach; her mother, Mildred Wishart, DeLand; two brothers, Bruce Wishart, Athens, Ga., and Douglas Wishart, Mineral Bluff, Ga.; and two grandchildren. DEBARY -- Shirley Rhodes Bauerle, 78, of Dogwood Trail, a resident since 1978, died Tuesday at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, Orange City.
Born in Monroe, Mich., Mrs. Bauerle, a homemaker, moved here from Rapid River, Mich. She retired as the owner of Imported Yarn Shop, Orange City, and also managed her husband's air conditioning company in Lincoln Park, Mich. Mrs. Bauerle was a member of Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed cooking.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Elwood "Al, " seven daughters, Jeanne Underhill, Tammy Sims and Sue Karle, all of DeBary, Patty Williams, Port St. Lucie, Barbara Hartwig, Brighton, Mich., Jill Wright, S. NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Bradford D. Brimhall, 78, of Bouchelle Drive, who retired in 1990 as an automobile dealer in Fergus Falls, Minn., died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital, Duluth, Minn.
Mr. Brimhall was born in Fergus Falls. He was a member and vestry at St. James Episcopal Church. He was a member of the Elks and Jaycees. He was a graduate of General Motors Engineering, Flint Mich.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dolores; two sons, Tom, Fergus Falls, and Craig, Harrisonburg, Va.; a daughter, Sharon Keller, a brother, Richard, and a sister, Betty Theurer, all of Fergus Falls; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. HOLLY HILL -- Richard J. Eberle, 86, of Ridgewood Avenue, who retired from a corporation in Philadelphia that made television and radio towers, died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital, Chicago.
Mr. Eberle was born in Kansas City, Kan., and came to this area in 1980 from Philadelphia. He was a member of Ormond Beach Unitarian Universalist Society. Mr. Eberle was a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Mass., and Yale University, New Haven, Conn.
Survivors include a son, Richard Jr., Chicago; two daughters, Karen Strano, Woodstock, Ill., and Shelly Ege, Naples; two brothers, Byron, La Jolla, Calif., and Hugh, Albuquerque, N.M.; and a grandchild. Cremation Society of Illinois, Chicago, is in charge.

HOLLY HILL -- Nancy Burr Ferraiolo, 66, of King Canyon Trail, a waitress for Forest Hills Catering, Ormond Beach, died Tuesday at home.
Mrs. Ferraiolo moved to this area in 1989 from New Haven, Conn., her birthplace. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles, both of Ormond Beach. She enjoyed bingo and bowling.

EDGEWATER -- Dorothy Hartman, 84, of Tamarind Drive, a native of Temple, Pa., died Tuesday at Daytona Beach Health and Rehabilitation Center, Daytona Beach.
Mrs. Hartman came here in 1970 from Pennsylvania. She was a homemaker and an owner of the Hartman Grocery Store and Restaurant, Lancaster, Pa. A former hospital volunteer, Mrs. Hartman also served as a volunteer grandparent at Edgewater public schools.

Mrs. Hedrick, a homemaker, was born in Slab Fork, W.Va., and moved to this area from West Virginia. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, West Virginia. She enjoyed bowling, music and dancing.
