DELTONA -- Geraldine Lovelace, 76, of Commerce Avenue, a native of South Boston, Va., died Sunday at home.
Mrs. Lovelace, a homemaker, moved to Deltona from DeLand in 1994.
Survivors include two sons, Joe Lovelace, Maryland, and Earl Boxley, Jessup, Md.; a daughter, Etherline Cunningham, Deltona; and two grandchildren. Newlife Cremation, Ormond Beach, is in charge.
Marie Remetta

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Marie S. Remetta, 79, of Phyllis Avenue, a self-employed seamstress, died Tuesday at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach.
Mrs. Remetta was born in Mount Carmel, Pa., and moved here in 1974 from Camden, N.J. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mrs. Remetta enjoyed cooking, travel, needlework, crocheting and sports.
Survivors include her husband, Armido; three daughters, Dorothy Beswick, Millville, N.J., Marie Mumman, Somerdale, N.J., and JoAnn Daley, Pennsauken, N.J.; three stepdaughters, Lexy Duck, Ormond Beach, Angela Brown, Orange, Va., and Anita Miller, Salford, Pa.; three sisters, Dorothy Smoke, Parker, Colo., Irene Murin, Reading, Pa., and Mildred Lahnstein, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Ralph Rosselot

DEBARY -- Ralph Jr. Rosselot, 75, of Sunrise Boulevard, who worked for the Delco Electronics Division of General Motors for 33 years before his retirement, died Wednesday at Central Florida Regional Hospital, Sanford.
Mr. Rosselot moved here in 1983 from his native Kokomo, Ind. He was a former president of United Auto Workers Local 292, Kokomo. An amateur radio operator, he also enjoyed reading.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Beverly; a son, Ralph, Tampa; a daughter, Dana McKinney, Kokomo, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Rae Suttle

DAYTONA BEACH -- Rae Suttle, 73, of Baywood Drive, a courier for Ocean Resorts, died Wednesday at Halifax Medical Center.
Mr. Suttle, who also retired from Eli Witt Co., moved here in 1951 from his native Louisville, Miss. He was a member of Samsula Baptist Church, New Smyrna Beach. Mr. Suttle enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include a son, John, Merritt Island; a brother, Grady, and a sister Annie Arnold, both of Louisville, Miss.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Woodward, Holly Hill, is in charge.
Muriel Towers

DAYTONA BEACH SHORES -- Muriel Grace Towers, 85, of Oceans West Boulevard, a native of Chicago, died Wednesday at home.
Mrs. Towers, a homemaker, moved here in 1984 from Columbus, Ohio. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Ormond Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Jacob; a daughter, Barbara Fifield, Port Orange; and four grandchildren. Shannon, Port Orange, is in charge.
Mary Traskos

EDGEWATER -- Mary Ryzak Traskos, 85, of Camino Real Court, a native of Middletown, Conn., died Tuesday at Horizon Healthcare, Daytona Beach.
Mrs. Traskos, a homemaker, moved here in 1990 from Berlin, Conn. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Smyrna Beach.
Survivors include two sisters, Julie Cartar, Rockfall, Conn., and Helen Bayer, Middletown; and a daughter-in-law, Cynthia Traskos, New Smyrna Beach, who provided for her care. Settle-Wilder, New Smyrna Beach, is in charge.
Kendall Akins

DELAND -- Kendall D. Akins, 47, of South Parsons Avenue, a cement finisher in the construction industry, died Saturday at Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando.
Mr. Akins, an Army veteran, was a DeLand native. He was a member of New Beginnings Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing the piano and fishing.
Survivors include two sons, Crandall, Orange City, and Kenon, Albany, Ga.; his mother, Louise Akins, DeLand; his father, Jessie Akins, Greenville, Miss.; and two grandchildren. Mack is in charge.
Mary Albritton

DAYTONA BEACH -- Mary Albritton, 92, of Pleasant Street, a resident since 1940, died Sunday at home.
Mrs. Albritton, a homemaker, moved to this area from her native Sumter, S.C. She was a member of the Allen A.M.E. Church and its Pastor's Aide Board. She also was a former clerk for the church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Banks, Daytona Beach; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Thompson is in charge.
Augie Aversa

PORT ORANGE -- Augie Aversa, 78, of Golden Rod Way, a merchandising supervisor for Ford Motor Co. before his retirement, died Saturday at Hospice Care Center.
Mr. Aversa, an Army veteran of World War II, was born in New Castle, Pa., and moved here in 1981 from Livonia, Mich. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3282. Mr. Aversa enjoyed playing golf and watching old movies.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Anna; a son, Michael, Northville, Mich.; a daughter, Sandi Miller, Westland, Mich.; a brother, Tony Averso, Clawson, Mich.; three sisters, Mary Bassett, New Castle, Pa., Esther Wolven, Clawson, and Nancy Jones, Lakeland; and two grandchildren. EDGEWATER -- Elizabeth M. Becker, 89, of Magnolia Avenue, a resident since 1961, died Saturday at Bert Fish Medical Center, New Smyrna Beach.
Mrs. Becker, a homemaker, was born in Hartford, Conn., and moved here from Charleston, S.C. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Smyrna Beach.

DELAND -- Lola B. Blount, 79, of North Woodland Boulevard, a resident since 2000, died Friday at Hugh Ash Manor.
Mrs. Blount, a homemaker, was born in Mulberry and moved here from Leesburg.
Survivors include two daughters, Roberta Tyre, Ormond Beach, and JoAnn Engel, Kathleen, Ga.; three sons, Lester "Buddy" Blount, Leesburg, Wendell Blount, Everett, Wash., and Allen Tyre, Ozark, Ala.; a sister, Ruby Mellett, Ormond Beach; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Arthur Colston

DEBARY -- Arthur A. Colston, 87, of Suncrest Drive, who owned a real estate company, died Sunday at Florida Hospital-Fish Memorial, Orange City.
Mr. Colston was born in Sinclair, Ill., and moved here in 1985 from Marathon. He was a member of Four Towns Moose Lodge No. 655 and a lifetime member of Franklin Moose Lodge, Alton, Ill.
Survivors include a son, Alden, DeBary; a daughter, Sharon Dorris, and a sister, Ethel Reuter, both of Alton; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Alavon Direct Cremation, South Daytona, is in charge.
Sebastian Cross

DAYTONA BEACH -- Sebastian Antonio Cross, 13, of Magnolia Avenue, a student at Silver Sands Middle School, Port Orange, died Friday at Arnold Palmer Hospital, Orlando. An autopsy is pending.
Sebastian, a native of Daytona Beach, enjoyed basketball and football.
Survivors include his father, Sebastian Cross, his mother, Sharon Brown, two brothers Devonte and Trekese Cross, and two sisters, Sada Brown and Santana Cross, all of Daytona Beach; and his uncle and aunt, Claude and Ceyona Henderson, Daytona Beach, who provided for his care. Gainous is in charge.
