John 'Jack' Mulroy, 76
John E. "Jack" Mulroy, 76, of Inglis, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003, at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. A native of Hoytdale, Pa., he moved to Inglis in 1993 from St. Petersburg.
Mr. Mulroy was a retired brick mason and Methodist.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Harriet J.; and a son, Chuck Mulroy of Jacksonville.

Gloria Ovsevitz, 77
Gloria Helen Ovsevitz, 77, of Ocala, died Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, in Ocala. She was born in Dunellen, N.J., and moved here in 1991 from Tucson, Ariz.
Mrs. Ovsevitz was a retired registered nurse, formerly employed at St. Peters Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Ovsevitz, and her parents, Andrew J. and Elizabeth (Larkin) Forgash.
Survivors include her daughter, Gloria E. Ovsevitz of Tucson, Ariz.; brother, Andrew J. Forgash of South Plainfield, N.J.; sister, Mary Brayer of Rochester, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.

Billy Tillery, 75
Billy Carey Tillery, 75, of Citrus Springs, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003. A native of Electric Mills, Miss., he moved her 10 years ago from Minneapolis, Minn.
Mr. Tillery was a retired medical writer for Cordis Corporation of Miami and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of the Dunnellon Masonic Lodge with a 50-year pin, and a member of the American Medical Writers Association. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Crystal River for many years and sang in its choir.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Tillery of Citrus Springs; son, Bruce Carey Tillery of Minneapolis, Minn.; daughter, Martha Karen Tillery Jacobs of Wesley Chapel; and three grandchildren.

Susie Uzelac, 63
Susie E. Uzelac, 63, of Citrus Springs, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, in Citrus Springs. Born July 22, 1940, in Knox, Ind., to Frank and Bonnie Shields, she moved here six years ago from Northern, Ind.
Mrs. Uzelac was a retired pipefitter and steelworker for Inland Steel Corp., Gary, Ind.; homemaker for the past 20 years. She was a member of North Oak Baptist Church, Citrus Springs.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ranata Faye Rubin, in 1987.
Survivors include her son, Randy S. Rubin of Portsmouth, Va.; her mother, Bonnie Field Bradtke of Peotone, Ill.; two brothers, Frank Shields of Peotone, Ill., and Jerry Shields of Jacrtce, Indonesia; one sister, Bernadine Griffey of DeMotte, Ind.; one grandson; three granddaughters, and one great-grandchild.

Mary Margaret Conro, of Ocala, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, in Gainesville. A native of Genoa, Ill., she moved here three years ago from Garden Prairie, Ill. She was 66.
Mrs. Conro was an office administrator employed by the University of Illinois. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy; son, Larry Conro of Belvidere, Ill.; daughters, Kathy Rohlwing of Ocala and Deborha Golbend of New Berlin, Ill.; brother, James Niss of Jacksonville; and six grandchildren.

Bernerd Johnson, 82, of Cherrywood
Bernerd Johnson, of Cherrywood, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2003, at Munroe Regional Medical Center, Ocala. A native of Aberdeen, S.D., he has resided in the Ocala area since 1987, formerly of Clearwater. He was 82.
Mr. Johnson was a retired automotive mechanic. He was a member of the West Marion Moose Lodge and was Protestant.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Ruth; and a sister, Terry McChorgo of Nashville, Tenn.

Peter J. Ciszek, 93, of Ocala
Peter J. Ciszek, of Ocala, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala. A native of Chicago, he moved here in 1984. He was 93.
Mr. Ciszek was a civil engineer and retired from the city of Chicago after 35 years. He served as a Seabee in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Angeline, and a sister, Florence Soilecki of Benton Harbor, Mich.

Filomena Tullo, 80, of Pine Run
Filomena "Faye" Tullo, of Pine Run, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala. A native of New York City, she moved here in 1986 from DeLand. She was 80.
Mrs. Tullo was a homemaker and a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Terry A. Tullo of Sunrise; sons, Joe Tullo of Mechanicsville, Va., Doug Tullo and John Tullo, both of Tifton, Ga.; brother, Tony Sabation of Middle Village, N.Y.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Marjorie E. Cogswell, 77, of Ocala, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003, at Kindred Hospital in Fort Lauderdale. A native of Cambridge, Mass., she came here in 1991 from Houston.
Mrs. Cogswell was a retired quality control inspector. She was Protestant.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna M. Cogswell of Ocala, Lynda A. Phillips of Riviera Beach, and Janice E. Hoelewyn of Angleton, Texas; son, R.E. Cogswell of Davenport; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Marjorie A. Combs, 74, of Citrus Springs, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2003, in Crystal River. Born in Erie, Pa., she came here in 1990 from Lantana.
Mrs. Combs was retired secretary for the Monsanto Corporation.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Combs; son, Stephen; and grandson, Jason.
She is survived by her son, Michael Combs of Citrus Springs.

Robert Willard Franklin, 60, of Inglis, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at his home. He was born Nov. 15, 1942, in Baker to Sally May and Blake Munson Franklin. He moved to Inglis a week ago from Crystal River.
Survivors include his mother, Sally Franklin of Alabama; two sons, Robby Franklin and Michael Franklin; daughter, Lisa Krietemeyer; two sisters, Ann Brazell and Catherine Childress; and brother, Robert Franklin.

Florence M. Mead, 92, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2003, in Merritt Island. A native of Columbiana, Ohio, she moved to Dunnellon 50 years ago from East Palestine, Ohio.
Mrs. Mead was owner of the Blue Run Bar in Dunnellon. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dunnellon.
Survivors include her daughters, Nancy McDilda of Merrit Island and Janet Murray of Dunnellon; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Mead Sr.; son, Charles B. Mead Jr.; and granddaughter Christine McDilda.
