Evelyn Kobyra, 84, of Dunnellon, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, at her home. A native of Gadsden, Ala., she moved here in 1999 from Hiawassee, Ga.
Mrs. Kobyra was a retired retail salesperson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Kobyra, on May 26, 2001.

Virginia M. Myers, 91
Virginia Morrison Myers, 91, of Dunnellon, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, in Dunnellon. A native of Penn, Pa., she moved from Jeanette, Pa., to Miami in 1944 and then to Dunnellon in 1980.
Mrs. Myers was Baptist and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Rainbow Lakes.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Oscar Morrison.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Myers; brother, Wesley Herrholz of Dunnellon and a sister, Clanthia Kolehmainen of Dunnellon.

Alyssa Nicole Workman, 18 months
Alyssa Nicole Workman, 18 months, of Inglis, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She was born May 30, 2002, in Crystal River to Brian E. and Jody Lane (Castell) Workman.
She was a member of the 1st Pentecostal Church of Inglis.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her brother, Douglas Vernon Castell and sister, Callie Cate Workman, both of Inglis; maternal grandparents, Joe and Sharon Richardson and paternal great-grandmother, Mildred Deland, all of Homosassa; maternal great-grandfather, Vladimir Nikolaiev of Brandon; an aunt and uncle and five cousins.

Mary Blocker 83, of Dunnellon, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, in Dunnellon. A native of Merritt Island, she moved here in 2002 from Fort Myers.
Mrs. Blocker was a self-employed seamstress. She was a member of the Peoples Congregational Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Blocker.
Survivors include two sons, William L. Blocker Jr. of Franklin, N.C., and Gary E. Blocker of Indiantown; three daughters, Eva P. Harrison of Dunnellon, Mary Bivens of Marble, N.C., and Annabell Blocker of Fort Myers; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Edward Bradley, 81
Edward Francis Bradley, 81, of Dunnellon, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, in Crystal River. A native of Cambridge, Mass., he moved here in 1981 from Bedford, Mass.
Mr. Bradley was a retired repairman for New England Telephone and Telegraph and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Rainbow Springs Men's Golf Association.
Survivors include his wife, Blanche; two sons, Edward Joseph Bradley of Bedford, Mass., and Robert Michael Bradley of Marston Mills, Mass.; two daughters, Barbara Jean Vitallo of Dracut, Mass., and Beverly Bradley Capelin of Durango, Colo.; three sisters, Helen Nartowt of Stuart, Edna Bradley of Quincy, Mass., and Marjorie Hughes of Concord, Mass.; and six grandchildren.

Mary Marjorie Gregor, 90, of Dunnellon, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, in Silver Springs Shores. A native of Gainesville, she moved here in 2001 from Margate.
Mrs. Gregor was a homemaker and a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Frances Gardner and Marjorie Gregor.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Gregor of Dunnellon.

Alfred Heinkel, 64
Alfred E. "Gene" Heinkel, 64, of Citrus Springs, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2003, at Sever Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River. A native of Miami, he moved to this area in 1992 from Homestead, where he had been a lifelong resident.
Mr. Heinkel was a retired construction supervisor and truck driver and was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving three years in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris DeJesus Heinkel, Sept. 18, 1998.
Survivors include four sons, David of Citrus Springs, Richard of Dunnellon, Eugene of Chandler, Ariz., and Michael of Fort Myers; a brother, Russell Kitching of Bradenton; and nine grandchildren.

John B. Howell, 69, of Dunnellon, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003, in Dunnellon. A native of Florida, he moved here in 2003 from Orange City.
Mr. Howell was a retired railroad train switchman for Seaboard Coast Line Railroad. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Sanford. He was Protestant.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Tracy Oglesby and Penny Howell.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Howell of Orange City; two sons, Josh B. Howell of Orange City and Damon Howell of Debary; two daughters, Shelley Howell of Dunnellon and Johnette Bernosky of Englewood; three brothers, Jack Howell of Taylor, Mich., Roy Howell and Ronnie Howell, both of Palatka; three sisters, June Caldwell of Montgomery, Ala., Judy Graham of Palatka and Jeannett e Rector of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Renee Idziak, 46, of Ocala, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, in Ocala. A native of Detroit, Mich., she moved to Ocala in 1991 from Fort Lauderdale.
Ms. Idziak was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Randy S. Irwin Sr. of Dunnellon; two sons, Randy S. Irwin Jr. and River S. Janet P. Keim, 76, of Dunnellon, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003. She was a native of Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Keim was a retired service representative.

August Kleisch, 95
August Kleisch, 95, of Redwood City, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, in Redwood City, Calif. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, he lived in Dunnellon from 1965 to 2001, then he moved to Redwood City, Calif.
Mr. Kleisch was a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Coast Guard. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He made the first helicopter rescue in military history. He was Protestant.
Survivors include a daughter, Judith Ernst of Emerald Hills, Calif.; sister-in-law, Nell Rhodes of Dunnellon; granddaughter, Lisa Ernst Nguyen and husband Dan of Playa Del Rey, Calif.; grandson, Daniel Ernst of San Luis Obispo, Calif.
Visitation will be at Roberts Funeral Home, Dunnellon, from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, with a funeral service at 2 p.m.

Ethel Mae Lee, 47, of Dunnellon, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, at home. A native of Bamberg, S.C., she moved her 30 years ago.
Mrs. Lee was a certified nursing assistant. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church of Dunnellon.
Survivors include her daughter, Tamarah Lee of Dunnellon; son, Jason Dunbar of Dunnellon; mother, Betty Johnson of Dunnellon; brother, Moses Johnson Jr. of Dunnellon; sisters, Betty James of Williston, Deloris Chesteen, Carolyn Floyd, Ora Lee Johnson, Sandra Johnson and Maggie Walker, all of Dunnellon; and two grandchildren.
