Blair Begyn, 24 Cape Coral
Blair Thomas Begyn, 24, Cape Coral, formerly of Coal Valley, Ill., died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon in Henry County, Ill.
He was born Jan. 25, 1979, in Silvis, Ill., to Gregory J. and Roxanne Koehn Begyn. He graduated from Moline High School in 1998 and attended American Institute of Commerce.
He married
Jennifer Shepard on Sept. 3, 2000, in Rock Island, Ill.
He was a corporate driver for New World Van Lines for the past four years. He was the youngest driver in the company's history to be given his own truck.
Blair had been an altar boy at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church and loved fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer of Coal Valley, Ill.; two sons, Ryan and Matthew of Coal Valley, Ill.; father, Gregory Begyn of Coal Valley, Ill.; mother and stepfather, Roxanne and Steven Peterson of Coal Valley, Ill.; brother, Andrew Begyn of Coal Valley, Ill.; paternal grandparents, John and Sharon Begyn of Milan, Ill.; and maternal grandparents, Robert and Edith Koehn of Davenport, Ill., and Giles and Lola Czupka of Inverness.

Emily F. Carlock, 86, Spring Hill, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, in Brooksville.
She was born in Bronx, N.Y., to Herman G. and Mathilda (Ebinger) Haag. She moved to Spring Hill from Homosassa six years ago.
Mrs. Carlock retired after 25 years as a legal secretary in Demarest, N.J.
She was Lutheran and she was a wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include husband of 63 years, James Carlock of Spring Hill; daughter, Jan Pope of New Port Beach, Calif.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Robert D. Dennany Sr., 77, Beverly Hills, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, in Beverly Hills.
Mr. Dennany was born July 29, 1926 in Kalamazoo, Mich., to Michael and Maxine Dennany.
He was a paper maker for Allied Paper. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an avid wood craftsman.
Mr. Dennany was a member of St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Lecanto.
He was preceded in death by brother, Michael Dennany.

Noah N. Guy, 73, Floral City, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at his home under the care of his family and Hospice of Citrus County.
Born June 1, 1930, in Waycross, Ga., to Clarence and Ruth (Griffin) Guy, he moved here in 1989 from Tampa, where he resided for more than 30 years.
Mr. Guy retired from J&M; Gas Pump Company of Tampa as a service technician with eight years of service. He served in the U.S. Army.
He was an avid bass fisherman.
Survivors include wife of 55 years, Frances (Kirkland) Guy; son, Jerry L. (Diann) Guy of St. Petersburg; daughter, Laverne (Tom) Howie of Land O' Lakes; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A native of Manchester, Ga., she was born Oct. 12, 1929, to Ira Eugene and Willie Herring. She moved here 55 years ago from Carrollton, Ga.
Mrs. Ogle was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church.

She enjoyed collecting dolls and was a seamstress.

He was born Dec. 7, 1925, in Leesburg and moved here from Atlanta, Ga., 14 years ago.
Mr. Sikes was a retired long distance truck driver and served four years in the Merchant Marines during World War II.
He was Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Mary Jane Sikes.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Sikes (Patsy) of Loganville, Ga., and Charles Sikes (Patsy) of Lawrenceville, Ga.; daughter, Mary Lee White (Jimmy) of Homosassa; two granddaughters and three grandsons.
