Alfred Wagenblast, 87 Citrus Springs
Alfred L. Wagenblast, 87, Citrus Springs, died Monday, July 28, 2003, at The Cottages of Gentle Breeze of Citrus Springs.
Born Oct. 9, 1915, in Bronx, N.Y., to Louis and Olga Wagenblast, he came to Citrus County in 1986 from Pinellas Park.
Mr. Wagenblast was a retired security guard for Honeywell Electronics for more than 20 years. He served in the U.S. Army, Navy, and Coast Guard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Wagenblast, Aug. 21, 1998.
Survivors include son, Alfred R. Wagenblast of Americus, Ga.; two daughters, Joan Eschenfelder of Floral City and Carol Moman of Lecanto; sister, Marion Smith; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Raymond L. Brown Jr., 73
Raymond Leroy Brown Jr., 73, of Ocala, died Sunday, July 27, 2003, at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville. A native of Hartford, Conn., he came here eight years ago from Williston.
Mr. Brown was a retired electrician and owner of Ray Browns Electric in South Florida. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Ocala Word of Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Ashley Brown of Ocala; daughter, Gina Rae Braznell of Miami; sons, Gary L. Brown and Glenn R. Brown, both of Miami; brother, Richard E. Brown of Morristown; sisters, Ruth Abate and Deloris Brookman, both of Glastonbury, Conn., and Marlene Accolla of Ocala; and one grandson.

Darwin W. Heine, 67
Darwin Walter Heine, 57, of Dunnellon, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003, at home in Dunnellon. He was born in Ellendale, N.D., and lived in Clearwater most of his life and in Dunnellon for the past 11 years.
Mr. Heine was retired and a graduate of Clearwater High School class of 1954.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann; two sons, James Walter Heine of Fayetteville, N.C., and Ted Heine of Houston, Texas; daughter, Vonda Lee Heine of Dunnellon; two brothers, Lou Heine of Chicago, Ill., and Orville Heine of Texas; sister, Mavis Waterman of Clearwater; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be Friday, Aug. 8, at 10 a.m. All to be held at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2960 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, Fla. 34618.

Harold 'Tony' Mackell Sr., of Annapolis, Md., died Friday, Aug. 1, 2003, at his home in Annapolis, Md.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma; children, Kenneth Sr., Rodney, Marina Dwight, Tony Jr., Craig, Tracy and Jules; stepchildren, Aaron, John and Kevin; 22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law, and many other relatives and friends.

Jessie 'Jess' Thompson Jr., 59
Jessie "Jess" Thompson Jr., 59, of Dunnellon, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, in Crystal River. He was born March 15, 1944 in Logan, W.Va., to Jessie W. Thompson Sr. and Lilly Young. He came to the area seven years ago from Tallahassee.
Mr. Thompson worked for the maintenance division of Florida State University for 15 years. He enjoyed cars and horseback riding. He was Baptist.
Survivors include one daughter, Scarlet Lee of Crawfordville; two stepbrothers, Jimmy Mathis of Tennessee and Bobby Mathis of Crestview; four stepdaughters and four grandchildren.

Curtiss Bryant, 42 Dunnellon
Curtiss Owen Bryant, 42, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, as a result of a bicycle accident.
He was born to Charles and Marjorie Bryant on March 7, 1961. He moved to Dunnellon 15 years ago from Brookfield, Conn.
Mr. Bryant was a native of California. He was a computer technician and a Protestant.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Odel Bryant.
Survivors include sons Curtiss O. Bryant, Jr. and Clifton A. Bryant, both of Inverness; daughters Eliabeth A. and Raven J. Hopper, both of Hernando; mother Marjorie Ingram Bryant of Goldsboro, N.C.: brothers Charles Bryant III of Guilford, Conn. and Carey Bryant, of Inverness; sisters Linda Anne Cornell, Cumming, Ga., Charlotte E. Sandy Mosely, 55 Beverly Hills
Sandy Mosely, 55, Beverly Hills, died Wednesday, August 6, 2003, in Beverly Hills.
A native of San Francisco, Calif., she was born June 19, 1948, to Seaborn Hawes and Aurelia (Little) Mosely. She came here from Tarpon Springs in 2002. Prior to living there she had been a resident of Harbor Bluffs for 38 years. Growing up she lived in France, Korea and the Alaskan territory.
Ms. Mosely was a retired dental assistant and homemaker.
She was Methodist.
She loved gardening, animals and nature.
Ms. Mosely was preceded in death by her parents, Lt. Col. Seaborn Hawes Mosely VIII on April 26, 1972; and Aurelia Little Mosely on Sept. 2, 1973.
Survivors include two sisters, Sharon M. Mosely of Beverly Hills, and Louise Penery of Dixon, Calif.

Maria S. Ramirez Inverness
Maria S. Ramirez, Inverness, died Aug. 7, 2003 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness.
A native of Venezuela, she was born to the late Bonifacio and Dolores Subero, one of three children.
She came to Florida from New York City in 1975.
Mrs. Ramirez was a retired saleswoman in the jewelry business and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Ramirez, and her two sisters Rosita Rogerson and Carmen Griffiths.
Survivors include one niece, Janice Dengler of Hernando; and one nephew, Clifford Rogerson of Pompano Beach.

Lawrence Redding, 90 Lecanto
Lawrence W. Redding, 90, Lecanto, died Friday, August 8, 2003, in Lecanto.
He was born in Palm Bay to Henry Jackson and Drewcilla (Hunter) Redding. He came here from Fells-mere 25 yers ago.
He was retired from Eastern Airl-ines as a ramp service supervisor.
He was a member of the Church of God in Crystal River.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II with the 103rd coast artillery 45th division. He was wounded in action.
Mr. Redding was preceded in death by his wife, Alida Redding in August 2000; and a son, Douglas in February 2001.
Survivors include three sons, Rodney Redding of Lecanto, Ralph Redding of Brooksville, and Lewis Martin of Crystal River; a brother, Joffery Redding of Miami; a sister, Collene Redding of Ft. Pierce; 19 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
