Born in Baltimore, she came here in 1981 from Fort Lauderdale.
She was a member of the American Association of University Women. She was a member of the Holy Faith Episcopal Church.
Survivors include two friends, Jane Allen of Ocala and Pieter VanGunst of Dunnellon.

Edward Pavlus, 72 Lecanto
Edward Pavlus, 72, of Lecanto, died Friday, June 27, 2003, at the Life Care Center of Citrus County.
He was born Aug. 3, 1930, in Cleveland, to John and Suzan Pavlus.
He was a retired office secretary for the Ohio Railroad.
Survivors include two sisters, Irene Kanicky and Betty Bruvarny, both of Cleveland.

Emil A. Rampacek, 77 Floral City
Emil Anthony Rampacek, 77, of Floral City, died Saturday, June 28, 2003, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness.
Born June 1, 1926, in New York City, to Andrew and Theresa Ram-pacek, he came here in 1973 from there.
He was a U.S. Marine during World War II. He was retired from the 46th Precinct of the New York City Police Department as an officer with 21 years experience. After moving to Florida, he was a correctional officer for the Sumter County Correctional Institution for 10 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Inverness.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rampacek, on Nov. 28, 1991.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher P. Rampacek of Houston and Emil A. Rampacek, Jr. of Harrisburg, Va.; his daughter, Nina M. Tompkins of Floral City; and three grandchildren.

Edward Rimkus, 73, died Saturday, June 28, 2003, at the home of friends in Homosassa.
Born April 8, 1930, in Chicago, to Helen Plenus and John Rimkus, he came here 5 1/2 months ago from there.
He was a retired industrial chemist for a chemical company in Illinois. He was a master sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was catholic.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John Rimkus.
Survivors include friends, Al and Britta Angshed; brother, Ray Rimkus and his wife Dorothy; and many nieces and nephews.

Joseph P. Terschak, 82, died Sunday, June 29, 2003, in Crystal River.
Born March 7, 1921, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., to Peter and Barbara Terschak, he came here in 1987 from Mountain Top, Pa.
He retired in 1985 as an aide with the White Haven School in White Haven, Pa. He was a tax consultant during his retirement years. He earned a bachelors degree in business administration from Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Beverly Hills.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John Terschak; and two sisters, Helen Nedoba and Anna Romanick.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary Jolivet Terschak, of Beverly Hills; two sons, Joel Terschak of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Michael Grady of Plymouth, Pa.; two daughters, Kathleen Maley of Mesa, Ariz., and Dee Kozicki of Mountain Top, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.

He was the owner and manager of a company that sold boats.
He was a U.S. Army paratrooper.
He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Yuncker.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Yuncker of Dunnellon; and his brother, Donald F. Yuncker of Jackson, Miss.

Mary "Kate" Kellogg, 82, Homosassa, died Thursday, July 3, 2003, in Ocala.
Born April 1, 1921, in Jefferson City, Mo., to VanBuren and Anne (Sebastion) Valentine, she came here in 1971 from Decatur, Ill.
She lived in Kansas City, Mo., Washington, D.C., and Williamsburg, Va., early in her life while working for the U.S. Army's Public Information Office. She later became a homemaker.
She attended St. Scholastica Catholic Church, Lecanto. She also attended St. Mary's College, Xavier University and the University of Kansas, where she received a degree to become a registered nurse.
She was preceded in death by husband, Howard W. Kellogg, son, Patrick V. Kellogg and sister, Frances Ann Valentine Thompson.
Survivors include daughter, Susanne Kellogg Jensen of Belleview; four sons, William H. of Waco, Texas, and Michael W., David J. and Steven T., all of Homosassa; stepson, Jimmy D. Johnson of Arlington, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Harry G. Osyczka, 89, Inverness, died Thursday, July 3, 2003, at New Horizon's Senior Citizens Home.
Born April 28, 1914, in Blackwood, Pa., to Wasyl and Anna Osyczka, he came to Florida in 1974 from East Meadow, N.Y.
Mr. Osyczka was a retired plumber with the maintenance department of the Nassau County Medical Center. He was a member of St. Andrew's Ukrainian Catholic Church of Brooksville. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by wife, Nancy Osyczka on June 2, 2001.
Survivors include daughter, Anne Body and her husband, Joseph, of Citrus Hills; two grandchildren, Joanne Osenenko of Woodstock, N.Y., and Susan Madden of East Meadow, N.Y.; and great-grandchild, Tash Madden.

Born Oct. 5, 1918, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Jon and Stella (Kordyka) Paliwoda, he came to Beverly Hills in 1976 from Cleveland.
He attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee during World War II, after serving with the Merchant Marines as a Seaman 2nd Class. He was a past member of Knights of Columbus. He was a past volunteer with the Beverly Hills Fire Department. He was an amateur Ham Radio Operator, license #KA4TFN. He took classes and enjoyed making stained-glass items.
He was preceded in death by brother, Emil Paliwoda in 1945.
Survivors include wife of 53 years, Hilda A. Paliwoda of Beverly Hills; son, Myron Jon Paliwoda of Beverly Hills; and sister-in-law, Alma Kreps of Chardon, Ohio.

Josephine White, 67, Inverness, died Thursday, July 3, 2003, at her home, under the care of her husband and Hospice of Citrus County.
Born June 4, 1936, in Geneva, N.Y., to Anthony and Antoinette Bertino, she lived in Tampa before moving to Inverness in 1996. She had lived in California and Nevada before moving to Tampa in 1989.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Floral City.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Angelina Certano and Molly Antenucci.
Survivors include husband, Walter White of Inverness, three stepchildren, Mark, Michael and Marie White, all of Warminster, Pa.; sister, Phyllis Cannuli of Marino Valley, Calif.; two brothers, Frankie Bertino of Waterloo, N.Y., and Joseph Bertino of Binghamton, N.Y.; three stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
