Robert Lee Williams of Gainesville died Dec. 27 at his residence following a brief illness. He was 62.
Mr. Williams was born in Lake City and moved to Gainesville 48 years ago. He was a laborer and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Williams of Gainesville; a son, Edward Dean of Washington, D.C.; brothers Mack Charles Williams and Wallace Williams, both of Gainesville, and Turner Johnson of Waldo; a sister, Ruby Garner of Gainesville; and a grandchild.

Jesse J. Wolbert Jr.
Jesse J. Wolbert Jr. of Gainesville died Wednesday at North Florida Regional Medical Center. He was 56.
Mr. Wolbert was born in Ironton, Ohio, and moved to Gainesville in 1969.
He was a lawyer and program assistant at the University of Florida. He was a member of the Franciscan Order of the Catholic Church and Holy Faith Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Tarcelia Wolbert of Gainesville; a daughter, Keli Wolbert of Gainesville; a son, J.J. Wolbert III of Gainesville; a sister, Ruth Alice Blanton of Ironton; and brothers Charles D. Riley of Starke and Michael P. Riley of West Union, Ohio.

Clarence W. Green
Clarence W. Green of Gainesville died at North Florida Regional Medical Center Thursday, after a long illness. He was 83.
Mr. Green was born in LaFayette, Ga. and moved to Gainesville from Albuquerque, N.M., in 1970. He was a retired agricultural researcher who had worked at the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mr. Green was preceded in death by his first wife, Leona Green, and by his son, Leon Setter.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Green of Gainesville; his brother, Gardner B. Green; and his sister Nell Babjack; sons Ric Green of Garland, Texas, Adam Green of Maxwell AFB, Ala., and Seth Green of Gainesville; daughters, Janet Cox of Garland, Texas, Marjorie Waters of Albuquerque and Camie Jacobs of Lake City; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Betty Niblack Lundy
Betty Niblack Lundy of Gainesville died Tuesday at Shands at the University of Florida following a short illness. She was 53.
A substitute teacher, she was born in Fort White and moved here more than 20 years ago. She had a nursing assistant certificate and also earned a degree in business from City College. She was a member of Open Door Ministry.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ferdinand M. Niblack.
Survivors include her father and stepmother, Phemon and Edna Niblack of Alachua; her mother, Mary L. Reeder of Atlanta; her grandmother, Florine Enman of Fort White; sisters Ollie L. Taylor, Jacquelyn Ricks and Linda Porter, all of Atlanta, and Helen Washington of Herndon, Va.; stepsisters Gussie Lee and Evelyn Washington, both of Alachua, and Verdell Robinson of Gainesville; and stepbrothers Gus Washington Jr. of Alachua, Lemorse Washington of Birmingham, Ala., Thomas Washington of Jacksonville and Ronnie Washington of Memphis, Tenn.
Elsa I. Ryshkewitch
Elsa I. Ryshkewitch of Gainesville died Tuesday at North Florida Regional Medical Center. She was 94.
Mrs. Ryshkewitch was born in Epstein, Germany, and moved to Gainesville from Ridgewood, N.J., 16 years ago.
She was a homemaker and a Lutheran. She was a member of the University Womens Club Seniors. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Ryshkewitch.
Survivors include sons George Ryschkewitsch of Gainesville and Alexander Ryshkewitch of Freehold, N.J.; daughters Tatjana Hollander of Harrison, N.Y., and Irina Osinski of Valley Forge, Pa.; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Dosha Lee Tharpe
Dosha Lee Tharpe of Gainesville died Jan. 26 at her home following a short illness. She was 76.
A native of High Springs, she returned to Gainesville after living in Trenton, N.J., for 10 years.
She was a nurse's aide and a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons Archie Tharpe and Willie Derrick Tharpe, both of Trenton; daughters Maureen Tharpe and Joan Tharpe, both of Gainesville; a brother, Herley Robinson of Trenton; a sister, Verlene Robinson Harris, of Gainesville; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Anna Louise Weaver
Anna Louise Weaver died Wednesday at her residence in Gainesville. She was 83.
Mrs. Weaver was born in Rochester, N.Y., and moved to Gainesville from Charlotte, N.C., in 1959.
She was a librarian for the architecture and fine arts department at the University of Florida for 21 years. She graduated from the University of Rochester and Simmons College.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
She has no immediate survivors.

Gladys Geneva Eoff
Gladys Geneva Eoff of Gainesville died Wednesday at her home after a short illness. She was 92.
Mrs. Eoff was a homemaker.
She attended First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville.
Mrs. Eoff was preceded in death by her husband, R.K. Eoff.
Survivors include a son, Kay Eoff of Gainesville; a sister, Louise Gentry of La Feria, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Bertram Leslie Fish
DOWLING PARK -- Bertram Leslie Fish of Dowling Park died Wednesday at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Dowling Park. He was 94.
Mr. Fish was a retired accountant. Born in Manchester, England, he moved to the United States 39 years ago before moving from Gainesville to Dowling Park seven years ago. He was an Episcopalian.
Survivors include two daughters, Joan Edwards of St. Augustine and Marjorie Shelley of Gainesville; a stepdaughter, Jean Sampson of Gainesville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
William Dale Gray Jr.
ST. PETERSBURG -- William Dale Gray Jr. of St. Petersburg died Wednesday at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg. He was 35.
Mr. Gray was a social worker.
Born in Gainesville, he moved from Gainesville to St. Petersburg six years ago. He was a graduate of Santa Fe High School.
He was a Protestant.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather; a brother, Stephen Gray of Gainesville; a sister; a stepbrother; a stepsister; and his step-grandparents.

LAKE GENEVA -- Merle E. Hamner of Lake Geneva died Tuesday at Shands at AGH in Gainesville. He was 83.
Mr. Hamner was a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army.
Born in Bosler, Wyo., he moved from Cleveland to Lake Geneva 18 years ago.
He was preceded in death by his son, Merle E. Hamner Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Betty Hamner of Lake Geneva; two sons, Jeffrey Hamner and George Hamner, both of Cleveland; six daughters, Diana Mazzocco of Akron, Ohio, Millie Anne Hamner of Vail, Colo., Carole Hamner of Crownsville, Md., Nancy Masiello of Sebastian, and Sandra Donegan and Cathy Everett, both of Cleveland; a brother, Dr. Charles Hamner of Hawaii; a sister, Alice Helm of North Hollywood, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.

Lillian W. Jackson-Loosli of Gainesville died Tuesday in Gainesville. She was 89.
Mrs. Jackson-Loosli was a homemaker.
Born in Jessamine County, Ky., she moved from Kentucky to Gainesville 14 years ago.
She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include her husband, John Loosli of Gainesville; three sons, Douglas Jackson of High Springs, Jerry Jackson of Apopka and Michael Jackson of Fort White; three daughters, Lucille Chaney of Dunnellon, Mary E. Michael of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Dorothy McGraw of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a brother, Fred Wade of Lexington, Ky.; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Betty Yawn Mason of Gainesville died Tuesday in Gainesville. She was 68.
Mrs. Mason was a homemaker and a member of Windsor Baptist Church. She was born in Colquitt County, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Erskin Richard Mason.
Survivors include two sons, William Mason of Graham and Edward Mason of Gainesville; her mother, Ruth Giles Yawn of Moultrie, Ga.; a brother, Charles Yawn of Moultrie; a sister, Virginia Yarbrough of Moultrie; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
