Ernestine Robinson Jenkins
HAWTHORNE - Ernestine Robinson Jenkins, a lifelong resident of Hawthorne, died at her home Friday. She was 64.
Mrs. Jenkins was a retired food services manager with the Alachua County School Board and a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Gladys Jenkins and Marilyn Jenkins, both of Hawthorne, and Adlena Tolbert of Gainesville; four sons, Glendell Robinson and Lewis Scott IV, both of Hawthorne, Gregory Robinson of Miami and Patrick Jenkins of Gainesville; a stepmother, Everlena Robinson of Williston; three sisters, Elouise Robinson of Tampa and Ethel Row and Jerlene Harris, both of Williston; a brother, Edward Robinson of Williston; 25 grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
Julius John Luckey Sr.
Julius John Luckey Sr. of Gainesville died Saturday at the Hospice House of Gainesville following an extended illness. He was 90.
Mr. Luckey was born in New York City and moved to Gainesville from St. Jo, Texas, in 1996. He served in the U.S. Air Force and in the U.S. Army. He retired from military service after 18 years and then worked as a real estate broker. He was associated with the Alachua Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mildred O. Luckey of Gainesville; two sons, Julius John Luckey II of Gainesville and Gary William Luckey of Greenwood, S.C.; four grandchildren; and a great-grand- child.

Hugh O'Donald McCray
MAYO - Hugh O'Donald McCray of Mayo died Tuesday in Mayo. He was 86.
Mr. McCray was born in Mayo and lived in Jacksonville before returning to Mayo in 1979.
He was a radio dispatcher for the Division of Forestry and a member of Midway Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and a Sunday school teacher.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Bradley.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Myrtle S. McCray of Mayo; a son, Hugh O'Donald McCray of Jacksonville; two daughters, Susan M. Austin of Charlotte, N.C., and Kathryn Denny of Ponte Vedra; a brother, Connie McCray of Mayo; two sisters, Madeline Land of Trenton and Louise Buchanan of Mayo; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Drucilla Ramsey Sanders
Drucilla Ramsey Sanders, a lifelong resident of Gainesville, died Friday at Shands at AGH following a brief illness. She was 93.
Mrs. Sanders was a retired Alachua County teacher. She graduated from Lincoln High School and Bethune-Cookman College.
She was a member of Greater Bethel A.M.E. Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon James Sanders.
Survivors include a brother, Leon Ramsey of Gainesville; and a niece and caregiver, Vera Mae Davis of Gainesville.
Arvil Scott
MORRISTON - Arvil "Ted" Scott of Morriston died at his home Saturday. He was 54.
Mr. Scott was born in the Cayman Islands and moved to Morriston from Canada 22 years ago.
He was an electronics technician and a musician.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen Scott of Morriston; three sisters, Jessica Scott of England, Eula Hurlston of the Grand Cayman Islands and Norma Ross of Fort Lauderdale; and two brothers, John Scott of Fort Lauderdale and Ron Scott of Key West.
Richard W. Smith
LIVE OAK - Richard W. Smith of Live Oak died Tuesday at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lake City following a brief illness. He was 88.
Mr. Smith was born in Oswego, N.Y., and moved to Live Oak from West Palm Beach four years ago.
He was a factory sheet metal worker, a World War II veteran and a Lutheran.
He was preceded in death by a son, Richard W. Smith Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Pearl Ann McGory of Henderson, N.Y.; a son, Ronald Smith of Live Oak; a sister, Margret Drewes of Beverly Hills, Fla.; a brother, Fredrick Smith of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Ralph Leon Baty
Ralph Leon Baty of Gainesville died Tuesday at Shands at the University of Florida. He was 49.
Mr. Baty was born in Jacksonville and moved to Gainesville from Lochloosa in 1991.
He served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 20 years at the rank of master sergeant.
He was a Vietnam War veteran and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Monnika Lienhard Baty of Gainesville; two sons, Len Alan Baty of St. Louis and Scott Leon Baty of Gainesville; his mother, Toye Friddle of Gainesville; his father, David Watts of Callahan; three sisters, Sheryl Baty of Lochloosa, Sharon Nannie of Jacksonville and Jonette Armagost of Bull Shoals, Ark.; and a brother, Raleigh Baty of Vernal, Utah.
Otha H. Grolick
Otha H. Grolick of Jacksonville died Saturday at Orange Park Medical Center following a brief illness. She was 96.
Mrs. Grolick was born in Tullahoma, Tenn., and lived in Keystone Heights for 45 years before moving to Jacksonville two years ago.
She was a retired bookkeeper. She was a member of the Community Church in Keystone Heights and the Melrose Woman's Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Grolick.
Mrs. Grolick is survived by a sister, Mae Kidd of Jacksonville.

Gloria Marie Piombino Verni
PORT ST. LUCIE -- Gloria Marie Piombino Verni of Port St. Lucie died Monday at Shands at the University of Florida. She was 70.
Mrs. Piombino was born in Jersey City, N.J., and moved to Port St. Lucie from Ridgefield, N.J., 10 years ago.
She was a bank clerk and a member of St. Lucie Catholic Church.
Survivors include her companion, James Brown Jr. of Port St. Lucie; two daughters, Karen Mosvi of Colts Neck, N.J., and Mary Jacobs of Gainesville; two sons, Ken Verni of Freehold, N.J., and Ron Verni of Cliffside Park, N.J.; and eight grandchildren.
Judith Carol Todd Wingerd
TRENTON -- Judith Carol Todd Wingerd of Trenton died Monday at North Florida Special Care Center. She was 52.
Mrs. Wingerd was born in Jacksonville and moved to Trenton from Palatka two years ago.
She worked as a nurse at Shands at the University of Florida and Shands at AGH for 20 years.
She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in High Springs.
Mrs. Wingerd was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Wingerd; and a son, Christopher Langley.
Survivors include two sisters, Marie Calkins of Trenton and Marsha Robertson of Charlotte, N.C.; and a brother, Mike Todd of Clarksville, Tenn.
Rufus Homer Wyrosdick
ARCHER -- Rufus Homer Wyrosdick died Sunday at his residence in Archer. He was 90.
Mr. Wyrosdick was born in Butler County, Ala., and moved to Archer from Hollywood in 1972.
He was a fire chief. He started two fire stations and he was their first fire chief.
Survivors include a daughter, Sara Webb of Chiefland; a son, Jeff Wyrosdick of Archer; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Shirley S. Zimpfer
Shirley S. Zimpfer of Gainesville died Saturday at North Florida Regional Medical Center. He was 74.
Mr. Zimpfer was born in Elizabeth, N.J., and moved to Gainesville in 1950.
She was a member of the University Women's Club, the Engineering Wives Club and the Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a charter member of the Gainesville Handweavers Guild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Zimpfer.
Survivors include a daughter, Beth Z. Hott of Alachua; two sons, Paul Zimpfer of Alachua and W. David Zimpfer of Chattahoochee; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
