Odessa Webster
ORLANDO - Odessa Webster of Orlando died Tuesday at South Florida Hospital in Orlando after a long illness. She was 82.
Ms. Webster was a retired homemaker.
Born in High Springs, she lived in High Springs for most of her life before moving to Orlando about three years ago.
Ms. Webster was a member of Sun Light Pall Bearers Society No. 101, Female Protective Society and Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sisters, Sarah Darisaw of Orlando, Marie Postell of High Springs, Elizabeth Byrd of Plainfield, N.J., Willie Webster and Mary James, both of Springfield, Mass.
James "Par" Campbell
James "Par" Campbell of Gainesville died Sunday at his home after a long illness. He was 85.
Mr. Campbell was a retired farmer.
He was born in Brooker and lived in Micanopy for most of his life. He moved to Gainesville 13 years ago.
He was Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Page of Aurora, Colo., a sister, Blanche Jones of Newark, N.J.; and granddaughter.
Frank A. Webster
LARGO - Frank A. Webster of Largo died Thursday at his residence after a long struggle with melanoma.
He was 28.
Mr. Webster was a graduate of Gainesville High School and Sante Fe Community College. He was an office manager at AABCO Mortgage, Loan and Investments Co. in St. Petersburg.
Born in Glasgow, Mont., he moved from Gainesville to Largo seven years ago.
Mr. Webster was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Seminole.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; a son, Frank Christopher Webster; a stepson, Brandon Murray; his father, Frank Webster of Gainesville; and his stepmother, Virginia McCoy Webster of Gainesville.
Franklin Jay Scott
Franklin Jay Scott of Gainesville died at home Wednesday. He was 35.
He was a lifelong resident of Gainesville. Mr. Franklin was a certified heating and air conditioning mechanic and vice president of Scotty's Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a member of Po' Boys Hunt Club and First Assembly of God.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Lynn "Mitzie" Scott; four sons, Franklin Jay Scott Jr., Luke Samuel Scott, Caleb Nathaniel Scott and Colby Terrell Scott, all of Gainesville; father, Franklin T. "Scotty" Scott of Gainesville; a brother, Kelly T. Scott of Gainesville; two sisters, Sandy Scott Smith and Kay Scott Mayberry, both of Gainesville; and grandmother, Cora Stokes Hilliard, of Gainesville.
Julian Green
Julian Green of Gainesville died May 22 in Gainesville.
He was 63.
Mr. Green owned and operated Julian Green's Watch Repair in Gainesville.
Born in Nashville, Tenn., he lived most of his life in Gainesville.
He attended the University of Florida and later received a degree in master watchmaking from the Chicago School of Watchmaking.
Mr. Green was a member of the Master Watchmaking Association, of Parents Without Partners and of community singles groups.
Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Noelle Green of Gainesville; a son, Kellycq Nicholas Green-Burkett of Hendersonville, N.C.; and two sisters, Dithers "Dee Dee" Sharples of Palatka and Sally M. Williams of Lake City.
Tommie J. Lites
ELLISVILLE - Tommie J. Lites of Ellisville died Saturday at Shands at Lake Shore in Lake City.
He was 85.
Mr. Lites was a farmer and a lifelong resident of Ellisville.
He was a member of the Columbia County Farm Bureau, of Cherry Hill Lodge No. 12 F&AM; and was an elder at Mikesville Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Henniecq Mae Lites of Ellisville; four sons, Robert L. Lites and Garry J. Lites, both of Ellisville, Gerald E. Lites of Sebastopol, Calif., and Larry T. Lites of Cedar Pines Park, Calif.; three daughters, Frances L. Phillips and Imogene Hales, both of Ellisville, and Annette L. Frantz of Liberty, S.C.; two brothers, Richard H. Lites of Jacksonville and Clyde Lites of Ellisville; two sisters, Mabel C. Dukes of Ellisville and Bernice Dukes of Jacksonville; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren.
Anna Mae Pozone
Anna Mae Pozone of Gainesville died Friday in Gainesville.
She was 88.
Mrs. Pozone was a school teacher.
Born in Lorain, Ohio, she moved from St. Augustine to Gainesville seven years ago.
She was a member of Holy Faith Catholic Church.
Mrs. Pozone was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Pozone.
Survivors include a daughter, Tina Jurecko of Gainesville; two sisters, Mary Strohmeier of Atlanta and Jeanne Chupick of Lorain; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

George Richard Sceals
LIVE OAK - George Richard Sceals of Live Oak died Friday at Hospice House in Gainesville.
He was 66.
Mr. Sceals retired as a traffic engineer from the Florida Department of Transportation. He also had served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean conflict.
Born in Ashburn, Ga., he moved from Lake City to Live Oak 24 years ago.
Mr. Sceals was a member of the Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Genevieve Sceals of Live Oak; five daughters, Edith Sceals of Live Oak, Diane Reid, Melissa Sceals and Terrie Sceals, all of Lake City, and Deborah Sceals of Sanderson; five sons, Larry Sceals, Timothy Sceals and Marty Sceals, all of Lake City, Gary Sceals of Gainesville and Robin Sceals of Live Oak; two stepsons, Mike Williams and Nathan Williams, both of Lee; four sisters, Louise Collins of Albany, Ga., Betty Jean Williams of Jesup, Ga., Jewel Standridge of Sarasota and Shirley Williams of Hellertown, Pa.; a brother, Bobby Sceals of Albany; 22 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Marion Louise Dean Barnes
SALT SPRINGS - Marion Louise Dean Barnes of Salt Springs died Wednesday at Marion House Health Center in Ocala.
She was 74.
Mrs. Barnes was born in Bronson and moved to Salt Springs from Gainesville last year.
She was a retired waitress and a Baptist.
Survivors include her longtime friend, Mary Barnes of Salt Springs; sisters, Verda Pittman and Patricia Lester, both of Tampa, Eunice Potter of Valdosta, Ga., Tina Graham and Nell Graham, both of Fitzgerald, Ga., and Portia Wagner of Lake Butler; brothers, Grady Dean, John Morris Dean, Allen Dean and Tommy Dean, all of Bronson, and Steve Coleman of Alachua; and two stepchildren.

Margaret E. Frazer
Margaret E. Frazer of Gainesville died Monday.
She was 75.
A native of Lumberton, N.C., Mrs. Frazer moved to Gainesville from Virginia in 1978.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Dianna Davis of Virginia; sons, Ricky Merrill of Virginia and Billy Harrell of Gainesville; brothers, Richard Phillips of Lumberton, N.C., and John Martin of Troy, N.C.; sisters, Jackie Suppa of Bellevernon, Pa., and Helen Ferrell of Jacksonville; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
