Lucille Marie Hillyard McClellan
HAWTHORNE -- Lucille Marie Hillyard McClellan of Hawthorne died Friday in Hawthorne. She was 81.
Mrs. McClellan was a licensed practical nurse.
Born in Jeff Davis County, Ga., she moved from Hazelhurst, Ga., to Hawthorne 51 years ago.
She was a Pentecostal.
Mrs. McClellan was preceded in death by her husband, Fred McClellan.
Survivors include a son, Carl Griffin of Campville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Wilbur Neal
KEYSTONE HEIGHTS -- Wilbur Neal of Keystone Heights died Saturday at Shands at the University of Florida after a long illness. He was 85.
Mr. Neal retired as an aircraft electrician at Jacksonville Naval Air Station. He was also a former director of Santa Fe Lake Dwellers.
Born in Leroy, Ill., he moved from Jacksonville to Keystone Heights 43 years ago.
He was a member of the St. William Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rose V. Neal of Keystone Heights; a brother, Delmar Neal of Enola, Pa.; and two sisters, Yulah Neal of Harrisburg, Pa., and Betty Hinthorne of Keystone Heights.
Thelma Bell Silcox
Thelma Bell Silcox of Gainesville died Friday at her daughter's home in Gainesville. She was 85.
Mrs. Silcox was a retired school crossing guard with the Alachua County Sheriff's Office.
Born in Bowling Green, Ky., she moved from Newberry to Gainesville two years ago.
She was a member of the University Church of Christ of Gainesville.
Mrs. Silcox enjoyed fishing and collecting antiques. She was known as a "people person."
Survivors include a daughter, Linda LeVangie of Gainesville; three sons, Terry Silcox of Newberry, Jerry Carl Silcox of Pensacola and James Marshall Silcox of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a brother, Robert L. Chaffin of Gainesville; a sister, Mary Ward of Cantonment; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Wallace Snow
TRENTON -- Wallace Snow of Trenton died Friday at North Florida Regional Medical Center due to complications from diabetes. He was 72.
Mr. Snow was a steel fabricator and welder in New York State.
Born in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, he moved from Rotterdam, N.Y., to Trenton three years ago.
He was an Episcopalian.
Mr. Snow enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen Snow of Trenton; two sons, Gary Snow of Lake Worth and Bruce Snow of Dewaynesberg, N.Y.; a daughter, Elaine Bentley of Bristol, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Jane Perkins of Richfield Springs, N.Y.; a sister, Violet Snow of Canada; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Nola Helen Whitaker Barrett
CHIEFLAND -- Nola Helen Whitaker Barrett of Chiefland died Saturday at Shands at Alachua General Hospital. She was 91.
Mrs. Barrett was born in Bristol, Va., and moved to Chiefland from Powell, Tenn., seven years ago. She was a homemaker and member of Berlean Bible Church in Knoxville.
Mrs. Barrett was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Barrett. Survivors include her son, Samuel A. Barrett of Dunnellon; one sister, Edith Jones of Oroville, Calif; and five grandchildren.

L. Ruth Reed
MELROSE -- L. Ruth Reed of Melrose died Sunday at Shands at Starke after a short illness. She was 99.
Mrs. Reed was born in Akron, Ohio, and moved to Melrose from Akron in 1938. She was a homemaker and a retired cook for Melrose Community School. Mrs. Reed was a member of Paran Baptist Church in Grandin and attended Eliam Baptist Church in Melrose for many years. She was a close friend of Rev. Billy Graham, who was tutored at the start of his ministry by Mrs. Reed's brother, John Minder.
Survivors include two daughters, Charleyene Brantley of Grandin and Barbara Kinzer of Clermont; two sons, Kenneth Reed of Speculator, N.Y., and Gilbert Reed of Keystone Heights; one sister, Freida Tyre of Sanford; and 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Stella L. Hillhouse
FORT WHITE -- Stella L. Hillhouse of Fort White died Thursday in Country Home Adult Congregate Living Facility in Lake City following an extended illness. She was 72.
Mrs. Hillhouse was born in Camargo, Ill., and moved to Fort White from Alachua 20 years ago. She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church of Fort White and a longtime volunteer with the Golden Age project at the Fort White Nutrition Site.
Survivors include one son, Eric Hillhouse of Fort White; one brother, James Goddard of Jacksonville; one sister, Edna Marie Goddard of Anthony; and four grandchildren.
Willie Jones
HIGH SPRINGS -- Willie Jones of High Springs died Thursday in Shands at Alachua General Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 80.
Mr. Jones was born in High Springs and was a lifelong resident. He attended public schools in High Springs and was a pipe manufacturer.
Survivors include two sons, Donnie Jones of High Springs and Terry Smith of Gainesville.
Judith Ann Tuck
Judith Ann Tuck of Gainesville died Friday at Alachua Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was 56.
Mrs. Tuck was born in Glendale, Ohio, and moved to Gainesville from Virginia in 1997. She was a Baptist and a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, painting and needlepoint.
Survivors include three sons, Manuel Ray Gallihue Jr. of Allen, Texas, Kenneth Randell Gallihue of Havana, and James William Tuck Jr. of Albany, Ga.; two daughters, Melissa Lott of Gainesville and Amanda Wingfield of Roanoke, Va.; two brothers, James Marshall of Wheelersburg, Ohio, and Gale Marshall of Madison, Maine; and eight grandchildren.
Natalie Light Weiss
Natalie Light Weiss of Gainesville died Sunday in Gainesville. She was 82.
Mrs. Weiss was born in New Rochelle, N.Y., and moved to Gainesville in 1977 from Havre de Grace, Del. She was a retired school teacher, established a scholarship at Tel Aviv University and was a member of Hadassah, the Four Seasons Garden Club and Congregation B'Nai Israel.
Mrs. Weiss was preceded in death by her first husband, Irving Light. Survivors include her husband, Simon Weiss of Gainesville; two sons, Walter Light of Washington, D.C., and Stephen Light of Milwaukee, Wis.; stepdaughter Judith Erickson of Gainesville; and two grandchildren.

Ellenda Joshua Bryant
Ellenda Joshua Bryant of Eustis died Sunday at Oakwood Nursing Center in Eustis. She was 98.
Mrs. Bryant was an evangelist and a member of the Kingdom of God.
Local survivors include a daughter, Ruth Bryant of Gainesville.

LAKE BUTLER - Barbara J. Burrus died Saturday at the Lake City Medical Center. She was 70.
Mrs. Burrus was born in Fort Myers and moved to Lake Butler from Bonita Springs six years ago.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bill Kazmierczak
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Joe Burrus of Lake Butler; sons Bob and Jim Kazmierczak, both of Lodi, Wis., and Rick Kazmierczak of Fort Myers; a brother, Thomas Alva McCardle of Wyoming; a sister, Darlene Folsom of Fort Myers; and six grandchildren.
