James "Jim" David Dandeneau, age 70, of Pensacola, died Sunday, December 28, 2003.
Jim was born and raised in Dover, NH. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in Vietnam.
Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ted Dandeneau.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; two daughters Belinda Drake of Lexington, KY and Paula Kramer of Greensburg, PA; five sons David Dandeneau of Charlotte, NC, Mark Dandeneau of Berea, KY, Glen Dandeneau of Berea, KY, Russell Dandeneau of Murray, KY, and Douglas Watt of Jeannette, PA; 13 grandchildren including Nicholas Dandeneau and Michelle Dandeneau both of Pensacola; four great-grandchildren including Ryan Dandeneau of Pensacola; two sisters Suzanne Orr and Louise Le Brecque, a brother Robert Dandeneau all of New Hampshire, and a brother Skippy St. Laurent of Maine.

DONNA BARBARA DOBBINS
1955-2003
Donna B. Dobbins, 48, of Milton, Florida died suddenly Friday, December 26, 2003.
Donna was born February 22, 1955 at the Pensacola Naval Hospital. She was a l973 graduate of Escambia High School and the following year completed the Licensed Practical Nursing Program at Pensacola Junior College. She also attended the Registered Nursing Program at PJC. Donna continued her education at the University of West Florida and received a B.A. Degree. She attended the University of South Florida where she received her Teaching Certificate in Special Education. Then, she obtained her Master's Degree in Counseling from Troy State University, and later became a Florida State Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Upon her achieving both State and National Certifications, she established and owned a private practice at East Hill Counseling Services. Donna was a gentle, kind and compassionate person, who was multi-talented and dedicated to the treatment of human suffering. She was passionate for mental health counseling and served many people in the community. Donna attended St. Sylvester's Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and assisted the Parish Nursing Program. Donna was an animal advocate her entire life and rescued many animals. She was a member of the World Wildlife Organization, saving elephants and endangered species.She was preceded in death by her paternal Grandmother Inez Fay Dobbins and maternal Grandparents, Thomas and Edith Gannon.
She is survived by her loving and devoted parents, Don and Barbara Dobbins; devoted best friend, Cathy Sewell; Aunts, Jane Hurst of Meridian, Mississippi, Dorothy Abbott of Pensacola, multiple cousins in the U.S; Uncle Leslie, Uncle Tom, Aunt Janice, Aunt Margaret and many cousins in Northwestern England. She leaves many friends and colleagues who loved and admired her.
Special acknowledgement and appreciation is extended to the families of Jim Sewell, Joe Sewell and Robert Wilson for their love and support during this difficult time.
Donna's love for animals is reflected in her adoption and care for Buster, Kirby, Isabelle, Molly, Lilly, Jack, Chiquita, Weaver and the late Kitty, Bobby and Joy. They will miss the sensitive, individual loving touch that Donna and only Donna possessed.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm Friday, January 2, 2004 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Warrington, with Rev. Msgr. Michael Reed and Rev. Msgr. John T. Cassidy officiating. Floral tributes accepted or donations to the Wildlife Sanctuary or the Humane Society in Donna's honor.
ULYSSE (CORN) HARRISON, SR.
1945-2003
Ulysse (Corn) Harrison, Sr. age 58, of Pensacol died December 26, 2003.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Felecia Harrison and Angela Harrison; 3 sons, Gary Harrison, Terry Harrison and Kenya Harrison all of Pensacola, FL; 4 sisters, Johnnie Mae Culbreath of Miami, FL, Elizabeth Randolph, Ruby Jackson and Shirley (John)Gaylord; 2 brothers; Robert Harrison and Larry (Jackie) Harrison all of Pensacola, FL; grandson; aunt; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be at 1:30 PM Saturday, January 3, 2004 at Joe Morris and Son Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Johnson, Sr. of Sixth Avenue Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

LEAH I. JOSEPH
1932-2003
Leah Joseph, age 71, of Pensacola died Thursday, December 25, 2003 in a local hospital.
Survivors include daughter, Vivian Donaldson; grandchildren, Christopher, George and Joshua Dixon and Earl Donaldson, Jr. as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday January 3, 2004 at Exodus Temple United Pentecostal Church with Bishop Henry Walker of Emmanuel Holiness Church officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens.

HAZEL KNOTT
Hazel Knott 80, a recent resident of Pensacola, died Tuesday, December 30, 2003. She had spent most of her retirement years in Deltona, Florida where she enjoyed bowling and playing cards with friends.
Ms. Knott was born in Meridian MS on August 8, 1923 and is survived by her son Robert A. Knott of Pensacola (Pat Knott), her daughter Judith L. Knott of Elk Grove, CA (Ron Morris), and her two grandchildren, Meredith L. Knott and Ethan S. Knott of Columbus, GA. Also surviving are her brothers George T. Allen of Florence, AL, David S. Allen of Columbus, MS. and Gerald Allen of Granada Hills, CA.
Hazel graduated from Meridian High School and Meridian Jr. College. She was married to Robert C. Knott from 1945 until his death in 1969. She worked as a secretary in the civil service where she received an outstanding rating while at Meridian NAS and at the Charleston, SC Shipyard. She was an accomplished seamstress and pianist.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, January 4 at Barham Funeral Home on Hwy 39 No. Graveside services will be held at Magnolia cemetery on Monday, January 5 at 11 AM. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice or to Hope Village for Children of Meridian, Mississippi.

Mable Brantley "Ginny Mom" Morris, age 78, of Pensacola, FL died December 30, 2003 at home.
She was a retiree of Gayfers and a member of Olive Baptist Church. She was a Loving, Dedicated Mother, Grandmother, Sister & Aunt. "Ginny Mom" will be missed so dearly by all. She was a very special woman who touched and blessed so many lives.

CHERRY GORHAM PARTINGTON

Cherry Gorham Partington, 64, of Pensacola, died on Saturday, December 27, 2003 at her home.
Cherry was born in Winchester, Virginia and was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Hellen Gorham. Educated in Virginia as a teacher, Cherry's special gift was helping children with learning challenges. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church since she moved to Pensacola in 1967. She was a gentle and loving spirit whose great joy was telling stories about the love of God to her 3rd and 4th grade Sunday School classes.
Cherry is survived by her husband, Don; sons and daughters-in law and grandchildren: Bruce and Beth Partington and their children, Gorham and Graybill; Philip and Amy Partington and their children, Will and Elizabeth; and Sang and Sandra Partington and their children, Tori and Michael.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church (Wright at Palafox), Pensacola, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2004.
The family will greet friends in the Parish Hall at Christ Episcopal Church at the conclusion of the service.

The family desires publicly to express thanks and appreciation to all of Cherry's many friends who provided loving care during her illness and for the excellent and loving medical care provided by Baptist Hospital, Dr. Allen Patton and the Staff of Hematology Oncology Associates; Dr. Bill Weaver and the staff of Baptist Radiation Oncology; her surgeons, Dr. Jane Benson and Dr. Peter Courcy; Dr. Tom Williams, Dr. Jim Stringfield, special Doctor friends Dr. Harry R. Cramer and Dr. Jimmy E. Jones, and Covenant Hospice, each of whom helped ease her cancer journey.

EDWARD JOSEPH RHODES, JR.

Edward Joseph Rhodes, Jr., 53, died December 31, 2003.
Born January 9, 1950 in Bangor, Maine, Joe was raised in Mississippi and has lived in Pensacola for the past 25 years. He served in the US Air Force. In 1974, he established the Credit Bureau of Brandon, Mississippi. He served as president of the Credit Bureau of Pensacola for 10 years, and was presently the owner of Sun South Systems, Inc.
Joe was a master gardener, expert carpenter and builder, gourmet cook, avid hunter, loyal friend and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Joseph, Sr..
He is survived by his wife, Jane; two daughters, Blair and Kim; son, Joseph III (Samantha); two granddaughters, Summer Marie and Kara Rene; mother, Florene Rhodes of Forest , MS; sister, Pat Lewis of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Chris Rhodes of Forest, MS; two nieces, Kacey Lewis and Rhianna Rhodes and three nephews Robert Podvia (Kristan), David Podvia (Kristi), and Chris Rhodes.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, January 2, 2003 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Deleo officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Friday.
