JACQUELINE ``JACKIE" HALL

Jacqueline ``Jackie" Hall, 61, of Pensacola, died January 1, 2000 at a local hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Mrs. Hall was born in Key West, FL and moved to the local area in 1974. She worked for the Navy Exchange for seventeen years. Jackie will be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother & great- grandmother.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband of forty years, Daniel Hall; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Lee and Ronald Lindsey & Bonnie Rae and Ray Kee; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey, Daniel, Robert, Denea, Jessica, Tiffany and Samantha; two great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services at Barrancas National Cemetery will be held at 10:15 am, Wednesday, January 5, 2000 with Chaplain Ken Griffin officiating.

OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME, is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday, January 4, 2000 at the funeral home.

MAE WES LISTER HAYES

Mae Wes Lister Hayes, 61, of Repton, Ala., died Friday, Dececember 31, 1999, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Hayes was a native of Gonzalez and a former resident of Decatur, Ala. She has bee a resident of Repton for the past two years. She was a member of the Solid Rock Holiness Church and a former member of the Order of The Easter Star of Decatur.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Rodgers Hayes; a daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Keith Ransom; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Faye Davis; four grandchildren, Jason, Dusty and Tiffany Ransom and Casey Davis; three brothers, Homer B. ``Red" Lister, Henry and Chris Lester and Pete and Dorothy Lister; a sister and brother-in-law, Doris and M.C. Jennings; and numerous nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2000, with Brother Charles Golden and Brother Frankie Bell officiating.

Interment will follow at the Morgan Cemetery in Molino.

FAITH CHAPEL NORTH of Cantonment is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be James Lister, Roy Lister, Lloyd Lister, Mabern Lister, Allen Weber and James Weber.

Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Jennings, Tony Lister, Clyde Jennings, Richard Jennings, Robbie Hayes and Larry Hayes.

MABLE ANNA ``BABE" HEISER

Mable Anna ``Babe" Heiser, 70, of Pensacola, died Friday, December 31, 1999.

Babe was a native and lifelong resident of Chicago, IL. After retiring from General Motors, she and her husband moved to the local area twelve years ago.

Babe is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Robert F. Heiser and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, January 4, 2000 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Griffin officiating.

Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME, is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 8 pm, Monday, January 3, 2000 at the funeral home.

EDITH I. ``DELL" HENDERSON

Edith I. ``Dell" Henderson, 78, of Pensacola, died Thursday, December 30, 1999, at a local hospital.

Mrs. Henderson was a lifelong resident of the area. She supported her husband as an Air Force wife for 27 years. She was a most devoted wife and mother.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Wally Sowell, Kim and David Evans and Ila and Robert Harvey; sister, Esteen Somerville; and grandchildren, Christopher Sowell, Karie Sowell, Lee Evans, Jason Holden, Robbie Harvey, Justin Holden and Hilary Holden.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2000 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Spining officiating.

Interment will be at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Walnut Hill, Fla.

OAK LAWN FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm. today at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted, however, contributions may be made to Cancer Research.

BARBARA JEAN LORD

Mrs. Barbara Jean Lord, 69, of Milton, died Friday morning, December 31, 1999, in a local nursing facility.

Mrs. Lord was a native and lifelong resident of the Northwest Florida area. She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles Lord; and a son, Ricky Flowers.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Lord (Tom) and Charlene Carr (Edward); four sons, Tom Lord (Sue), Danny Lord (JoAnn), David Lord (Hollie) and Ray Lord (Tammy); mother, Dorothy O'Connell; one brother, Bubba Sinnott; one special sister-in-law, Carolyn Flowers (Robert); 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lord will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2000 at the Lewis Funeral Home with Father Benedict Klucinec officiating.

Burial will follow in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home directing.

LEWIS FUNERAL HOME OF MILTON is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the Lewis Funeral Home in Milton from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2000.

FRANCES H. WENZEL

Frances H. Wenzel, 71, of Pensacola, went to be with the Lord, Friday, December 31, 1999. She left this life from her own home, surrounded by her family.

Frances was a member and Sunday School Teacher at Resurrection Lutheran Church. She was a hospital volunteer at West Florida Hospital and was awarded the 15 year service pin from Cross Creek Healthcare.

Frances is survived by her husband of 52 years, Alvin W. Wenzel; four sons & three daughters-in-law, William G. & Nancy Wenzel, John A. Wenzel, James D. & Cindy Wenzel and Mark T. & Charlotte Wenzel; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra Jo & Greg Collier and Barbara Ann Craft. Frances also leaves one sister, Florence Pedini; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Monday, January 3, 2000 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Pastor David Robatzen officiating.

Burial will follow in Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be her sons, son-in-law, Greg Collier and close family friend, Chris Christensen.

PENSACOLA MEMORIAL GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, is in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 pm to 6 pm, today.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to Hospice of NW Florida or the American Cancer Society.

KENNETH EDWARD WILLIAMS

Kenneth Edward Williams, 49, of Pensacola, died Thursday, December 30, 1999, in Pensacola, following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Williams was born July 14, 1950 in Memphis, Tenn., but was reared and educated in Tampa and was employed in the Aerospace industry.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Jean Lozier; and his maternal grandmother, Ruth M. Wright.

Survivors include his wife, Mary J. Watson Williams of Pensacola; mother, Helen Jean Blair of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla.; grandparents, Otto and Gladys Agent of Memphis, Tenn.; sons, Kenneth Russell William of Memphis, Tenn. and Thomas Williams Boggs; daughter, Rebecca Williams Hardin; step-daughters, Brenda Hodge, Karen Eurton and Laura Lavoie. Surviving also are 11grandchildren.

Services at 9:30 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2000 at St. Michaels Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Richard J. Bowles, V.F.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Russell Williams, Richard Lozier, Sr., Richard Lozier, Jr., Kevin Lozier, Mark Williams and Melvin Rabalais.

Honorary pallbearers will be Vernell Russell, James E. Williams, Adam Eurton, Brian Lavois, John Maxfield, Tom Keathley and Bruce Hall.

WATERS AND HIBBERT FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call at Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Scripture reading will be 5 p.m. Sunday at Waters & Hibbert.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michaels Catholic Church or Hospice of Northwest Florida.

IVEY "NICK" CARNLEY

1926-2003

Nick Carnley, 77, went to sleep at his home on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 after an extended illness.

Mr. Carnley was born in Jay, Florida and had resided in Pensacola for the past 60 years. He retired from the Escambia County School District Maintenance Department. He was known to his fellow co-workers as "Mr. Clean". He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Letha Carnley; daughter, Judy Smillie (Danny); grandchildren Denise Halstead (Ronnie), Dustin Smillie, and Hunter Smillie; great-granddaughter, Victoria Lynne Halstead; sisters, Corine Beaty of Houston, TX, Essie Mae Kirkland of Pensacola, and Margaret Allen (Chester) of Memphis, TN; brothers Forrest "Junior" Carnley (Lennie) of Pensacola, and Carrell Carnley of Gulfport, MS.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 3, 2003 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 PM.

Burial will be in Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are Dustin Smillie, Jim Smillie, Eric Mills and Lonnie Wilson.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Roger Henson and his staff, and to Hospice of the Emerald Coast for their love and compassionate care.

LILLIAN P. COLLINS

1908-2003

Lillian P. Collins passed away Sunday Dec.28, 2003 at a local nursing home.

She was born Jan. 1, 1908 in Fall River Massachusetts to Martin and Catherine Ryder Patten. She has made Pensacola her home for the past 60 years since her husband's retirement from the military.

She is preceded in death by her husband Leonard.

She is survived by a daughter Patricia C. Brown and husband William and a son Leonard J. Collins and wife Priscilla ,six grandchildren Kevin Brown and wife Keely, Martin Brown and wife Kathy, Janet Flynn, Catherine Brown Mackin and husband John, Brendon Collins and wife Daniella and Tanya Wagner and husband Carson. Also 13 great-grandchildren; Kyle, Konnor Brown; Katy, Mary, Julie, Amy Mackin; Catherine, Colleen Flynn; Sean, Sara, Kelsey Brown; and Mathew Collins.

She was a long standing member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and St. Stephens Legion of Mary. The Wake will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday January 1, 2004 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday January 2, 2004 at 11 a.m. with Msgr. John Cassidy officiating. Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Dr. Micheal Henderson, Eddie Henderson, Donnie Henderson and Steve Henderson.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Thomas More Building Fund, Hospice of Pensacola or Haven Of Our Lady Of Peace.

Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

DENNIS CORDER

1961-2003

Dennis Corder, local attorney and beloved husband, died suddenly on December 30, 2003 at the age of 42. Dennis attended Wayne State University in his home state of Michigan then received his law degree from Florida State University. He was a partner at the Law Offices of Potter and Corder and was president of the Society of the Criminal Defense Bar.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 19 years, Dr. Donna Corder. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Bushy. He is also survived by his father David Corder of Harrison, Michigan; brother Curtis Corder of Northville, Michigan; sister Pamela Taylor of Middleburg, Virginia; and brother Shawn Corder of Canton, Michigan.

Visitation will be held at the Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel at 3351 Scenic Highway on Friday, January 2, 2004 at 5:00 pm with a memorial service immediately following at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society at 2480 West Garden Street, Pensacola, Florida.
