Annie Lee Bonnell of High Springs died Saturday at Shands at Lake Shore in Lake City. She was 90.
Mrs. Bonnell was born in Lafayette County and lived there most of her life. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Mayo. She enjoyed gardening, needle working and quilting.
Mrs. Bonnell was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Bonnell, and one daughter, Dollie Mae Fairley. Survivors include one daughter, Leila Caraway of High Springs; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 21 great- great-grandchildren.
Marcie Wylie Petersen
CHIEFLAND - Marcie Wylie Petersen of Chiefland died Friday at Shands at AGH.
She was 93.
Mrs. Petersen was born in Winnsboro, S.C., and moved to Chiefland 38 years ago from Williston. She was a retired secretary, a member of First United Methodist Church of Chiefland and a former member of the Williston Woman's Club, First Presbyterian Church of Williston and Bronson United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Henry E. "Hank" Petersen Jr. of Chiefland.
Betty Virginia Moore Raber
LAKE BUTLER - Betty Virginia Moore Raber of Lake Butler died Saturday in her home after an extended illness. She was 66.
Mrs. Raber was born in Parkersburg, W.V., and lived in Florida most of her life. She moved to Lake Butler seven years ago from Chiefland. She was a certified nursing assistant with Medic-Ayers Nursing Home in Trenton and was a Baptist.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Davies of Cunningham, Tenn., and Carol English of Fort White; five sons, Lyle Raber of Orville, Ohio, Robert Raber of Wachula, Roger Raber of Nahunta, Ga., Roy Raber of Lake Butler and Edward Raber of Mayo; four sisters, Viola Sekavec of Columbus, Ohio, Wilma Brand of Massillon, Ohio, Juanita Martin of Vermilion, Ohio, and Lola Mae Christopher of Zephyrhills; three brothers, Wayne Moore of Ohio, Paul Moore of Akron, Ohio, and Denver Moore of New London, Ohio; and 18 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
Georgia Elizabeth Martin Waters
LAKE BUTLER - Georgia Elizabeth Martin Waters of Lake Butler died Saturday in her home following an extended illness. She was 85.
Mrs. Waters was born in Blackshear, Ga., and lived near Lake Butler most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lake Butler ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Mrs. Waters was preceded in death by her husband, L.V. Waters, and a daughter, Mary Jane Waters. Survivors include six daughters, Elouise Monds of Fort White, Margaret Stansel of Lake City, Madeline Richardson of Cocoa, and Jeanette Bielling, Joann MacDonald and Correne Stringer, all of Lake Butler; four sons, Earl Waters, Ted Waters, Robert Waters and Alvin Waters, all of Lake Butler; one sister, Correne Taylor of High Springs; one brother, Edward Martin of High Springs; and 30 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
E. Marie Williford
E. Marie Williford of Gainesville died Friday at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville following an extended illness.
She was 84.
Mrs. Williford was born in Scottsville, Ky., and moved to Gainesville in 1936 from Indianapolis. She attended Butler University in Indianapolis, where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority and the Butler Drama Club. Mrs. Williford was a teller at Florida National Bank. She was a Presbyterian and a member of the Gainesville Woman's Club and the auxiliary of the former Alachua General Hospital, now Shands at AGH.
Survivors include her husband, James I. Williford of Gainesville; two sons, William A. Williford of Hollywood and James Thomas Williford of LaPorta, Md.; and one grandchild.

Patrick Ryan Bowyer
Patrick Ryan Bowyer of Gainesville died Thursday in Gainesville due to cancer. He was 58.
Mr. Bowyer was a building contractor. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Born in Moore Haven, he moved from Los Angeles to Gainesville 10 years ago.
He attended the University of Florida, where he played football.
Survivors include three daughters, Julie Weinstein of San Francisco, and Jennifer Raphael and Laura Scaturro, both of Los Angeles; and three brothers, Ernest Jerome Bowyer, Peter Ryan Bowyer and Michael Ryan Bowyer.
Lillie Mae Brannan
LIVE OAK - Lillie Mae Brannan of Live Oak died Thursday at Surrey Place Nursing Home in Live Oak after a long illness. She was 90.
Mrs. Brannan was a businesswoman and a homemaker.
She was a lifelong resident of Suwannee County.
Mrs. Brannan was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Live Oak.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Brannan; and two daughters, Ruby McCollister and Barbara Jean Brannan.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jean Williams of Live Oak; a son, Robert Brannan of Macclenny; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Joseph S. Mayer
MORRISTON - Joseph S. Mayer of Morriston died Thursday at Nature Coast Regional Hospital in Williston. He was 86.
Mr. Mayer was a retired welder. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Born in Mitrovica, Yugoslavia, he moved from Cleveland to Morriston 25 years ago.
Mr. Mayer was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the church's Men's Club, Knights of Columbus Council and American Legion Post 58.
Survivors include his wife, Justine Mayer of Morriston; a stepdaughter, Donna M. Hoblit of Germantown, Md.; and a brother, Peter Mayer Sr. of Cleveland.
Woodene Hendrix Reap
Woodene Hendrix Reap of Atlanta died April 3 in Atlanta. She was 88.
Mrs. Reap was a social worker, a former manager at the Florida State Employment Service, and was a past owner of the Gainesville Letter Shop.
Born in Memphis, Tenn., she was raised in Gainesville and moved out of the Gainesville area 51 years ago. She graduated from Gainesville High School and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority at Florida State College for Women in Tallahassee, now Florida State University.
Mrs. Reap was a co-founder of the Junior League of Gainesville.
She was Episcopalian.
Survivors include a son; two nephews, including Steven Hendrix of Trenton; and two nieces.
Helen Hall Sealey
SEMINOLE - Helen Hall Sealey of Seminole died Tuesday at Autumn Haven in Seminole. She was 82.
Mrs. Sealey was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta.
Born in Gainesville, she moved from Atlanta to Seminole six years ago.
Survivors include two daughters; a son; and two grandchildren.
Mary Culbreath
Mary Culbreath of Gainesville died Tuesday at Shands at AGH after a long illness. She was 74.
Mrs. Culbreath was a homemaker and former secretary to the Rev. Fred Laughon at First Baptist Church in Gainesville.
Born in Birmingham, Ala., she moved from Birmingham to Gainesville 40 years ago.
Mrs. Culbreath was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Culbreath.
Survivors include a son, Steve Culbreath of Temple Terrace; and a sister, Opal Leach of Hueytown, Ala.
Lillie Avie Howard Davis
STARKE - Lillie Avie Howard Davis of Starke died Tuesday at Shands at AGH in Gainesville after a long illness. She was 75.
Mrs. Davis retired as a cafeteria worker from the Bradford County School Board.
Born in Jacksonville, she was a lifelong resident of Starke.
Mrs. Davis was a member of the Sampson City Church of God in Starke.
Survivors include a daughter, Jeannie McKinney of Starke; two stepsons, Harold Davis and Randall Davis, both of Starke; a sister, Lois Elsie Russ of Orlando; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
