Mrs. Chamberlin was a homemaker.
Mrs. Chamberlin was born in Monticello and came to Gainesville 29 years ago.
She attended the Florida State College for Women in Tallahassee.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She served as a member and chairman of Day Lily Garden Circle and also belonged to the Skippers Social Club, the Retired Officers' Wives Club, the Gainesville Golf and Country Club and the Gainesville Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband, retired U.S.A.F. Lt. Col. Lloyd William Chamberlin Jr. of Gainesville; her son, Lloyd William Chamberlin III of Tampa; her sister, Betsy Bird Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Patricia Elaine FitzHarris
Patricia Elaine FitzHarris died Thursday in Gainesville after a sudden illness. She was 46.
Ms. FitzHarris was a beautician.
Ms. FitzHarris was born in Dayton, Ohio, and moved to Gainesville 15 years ago
Survivors include her parents, Leo J. and Mary B. FitzHarris of St. Augustine; two sisters, Mariel Falbo of Austin, Texas, and Anne Molavi of Cherry Hill, N.J.; and five brothers, Jim FitzHarris of Jamestown, R.I., Joe FitzHarris of Alexandria, Va., Walt FitzHarris of Dayton, Bob FitzHarris of Farmersville, Ohio, and Greg FitzHarris of Fayetteville, N.C.
Deborah Sanchez
Deborah Sanchez of Morriston died Friday after an auto accident. She was 35.
Mrs. Sanchez was a check-out clerk at the Quick King convenience store in Morriston.
Mrs. Sanchez was born in New York city and moved from Massachusetts to Morriston a year and a half ago.
She was a Catholic.
Survivors include her mother, Carmen Torres of Morriston and step-father, German Torres of Morriston; her father, Salvador Alicea of Puerto Rico; a son, Angel G. Medina of Morriston; a daughter, Rebecca Medina of Morriston; three brothers, Benjamin Alicea and Daniel Alicea, both of Oviedo, and Salvador Alicea of Springfield, Mass.
Dorothy Louise Liles
Dorothy Louise Liles of Gainesville died Friday in Gainesville.
Mrs. Liles was a crossing guard. She was born in Jackson, Ala., and came to Gainesville 14 years ago.
She was a member of North Central Florida Baptist Church.
Mrs. Liles, who enjoyed gardening and poetry, played piano and organ for many area churches.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Cline of Milford, Del., and Laurine Scott of Jonesville; Nelson Liles of Gainesville; two brothers, David G. Bell of Phoenix, Ariz., and John Dixon Bell of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister, Lena Ruth Powell of Lisman, Ala.; five grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
Robert E. Lucas
Robert E. Lucas of Gainesville died Saturday at his son's home in Gainesville after a long illness. He was 66.
Mr. Lucas was a funeral home attendant in Gainesville and Boca Raton. He also served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Lucas was born in Hazel Park, Mich., and moved last year from Boca Raton to Gainesville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beth Diane Gillam Lucas.
Survivors include two sons, Dana R. Lucas of Gainesville and Timothy A. Lucas of Atlanta; his daughter-in-law and caregiver, Jan M. Lucas; and two granddaughters, Kathryn and Victoria Lucas, both of Gainesville.
Elizabeth Kinsey Sumner
Elizabeth Kinsey Sumner of Gainesville died Friday at North Florida Regional Medical Center. She was 91.
Mrs. Sumner was a retired teacher at Far Hills Country Day School in Far Hills, N.J.
Mrs. Sumner was born in Hackettstown, N.J., and came here last year from Cape Coral. She was a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Penton Sumber Sr.
Survivors include a daughter, Gay Lynn Greninger of Gainesville; two sons, John Penton Sumner Jr. of Saylorburg, Pa., and Richard Kinsey Sumner of Concord, Calif.; seven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
Stephanie Taylor Williams
NEWBERRY - Stephanie Taylor Williams, a 13-year-old Newberry resident, died late Thursday at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh after complications developed following a second double-lung transplant there in December.
She had undergone a heart and double-lung transplant at the same hospital when she was 6 years old.
Stephanie was a seventh-grader who was being home-schooled.
She was born in Gainesville and she enjoyed music and playing softball.
Survivors include her father, Roddey Ellis Williams of Alachua; her mother, Kathy Ann Myers Williams of Newberry; three sisters, Erica B. Williams, Melissa Ann Williams and Katherine Eileen Williams, all of Newberry; her grandparents, Robert and Shirley Myers of Gainesville; and her great-grandmother, Eileen Reese of Garden Grove, Calif.
Expressions of sympathy may be made as donations to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Helen V. Nicol
Helen V. Nicol of Gainesville died Thursday at Shands at AGH. She was 76.
Mrs. Nicol was a former employee of the federal government in Washington, D.C.
Born in Milwaukee, she moved from Carbondale, Ill., to Gainesville 34 years ago.
Mrs. Nicol was a member of the United Church of Gainesville.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, David Nicol of Gainesville; a daughter, Ruth N. Fox of Ormond Beach; a sister, Florence V. Lindsay of Mequon, Wis.; and two grandchildren.
W. C. Graham Jr.
CHIEFLAND - W. C. Graham Jr. of Chiefland died Saturday at his home after a long illness. He was 80.
Mr. Graham was a farmer. He was a lifelong resident of Chiefland and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Mr. Graham was a trustee of the Florida Sheriff's Boys' Ranch for more than 30 years and served as an honorary member of the Future Farmers of America.
He also belonged to the Florida Cattlemen's Association and the Southern Seed Certification Association Inc.
He belonged to the Hardeetown Baptist Church and enjoyed woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn R. Graham, and his brother, Stancel Graham.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Graham of Chiefland; a brother, Kenneth Graham of Chiefland; a sister, Ida Mae Watson of Chiefland; his stepmother, Margaret Graham of Chiefland; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
Jean Chassereau
Jean Chassereau of Lake City died Saturday at North Florida Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
She was 72.
Mrs. Chassereau worked for many years at the Blanche Hotel and the Hasty House restaurant in Lake City.
She also worked at the Columbia County Credit Bureau.
Mrs. Chassereau was born in Springfield and moved from Day to Columbia County 56 years ago. She graduated from Columbia High School.
She was a Baptist.
Mrs. Chassereau was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Chassereau, and a son, Robert E. Chassereau.
Survivors include a son, Joe Chassereau of Lake City; a grandson, Robert Chassereau of Lake City; and a granddaughter, Alecia Chassereau Croft of Lake City.
