Lillian B. Schumacher, 72, Beverly Hills, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, in Crystal River.

A native of Hilton, N.Y., she came here four years ago from Mount Holly, N.C.

Mrs. Schumacher was an insurance sales agent.

She was Catholic.

Surviving are her husband, Tom Schumacher of Beverly Hills; two sisters, Olga Koch of Beverly Hills and Evelyn Mack of Rochester, N.Y.; one son, Scott Gard of Corona, Calif.; four grandchildren; four stepdaughters and one stepson.

Napoleon Turgeon Jr., 91 Lakeland

Napoleon William Turgeon Jr., 91, Lakeland, formerly Homosassa, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, at Wedgewood Health and Rehabilitation Center, Lakeland.

He was born Nov. 24, 1910, in Albion, R.I., to Napoleon William Sr. and RoseAnna (Trudel) Turgeon. He came here 35 years ago from Rhode Island.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Turgeon was a carpenter and worked mainly for construction companies in Massachusetts. He was a member of Massachusetts State Carpenters Union.

He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps.

He was Catholic.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Mary Turgeon. Survivors include two sons, Richard Turgeon of Chassahowitzka and Roger Turgeon of Cumberland, R.I.; two daughters, Rose Marie Strauch of Bartow and Gloria Hainey of York, Pa.; two brothers, Arthur Turgeon of Chicago, Ill., and Leo Turgeon of Schaumberg, Ill.; two sisters, Florence Bossi of Pawtucket, R.I., and Jeanett Mascio of Cumberland, R.I.; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Wanda Wallace, Beverly Hills

Wanda E. Wallace, Beverly Hills, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, at her home under the care of her family and Hospice of Citrus County.

Born in Camden, N.J., to Josephine and Albert Ciemiengo, she came here seven and a half years ago from Burlington, N.J.

She was a registered nurse and past office manager of the Odd Fellows cemetery in Burlington.

She was past noble grand of Marion Rebekah Lodge No. 91, IOOF, Burlington, N.J., Joseph R. Deacon Rebekah Lodge No. 106 of Burlington, N.J., she was a past Girl Scout Leader of Burlington Township, N.J., a past member and president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Relief Fire Company No. 3 of Burlington, N.J.

She was a member of the Beverly Hills Community Church. She was a member of the Citrus County Multiple Sclerosis Support Group.

She was preceded in death by her late husband Wilbert Joseph Estelow, formerly of Beverly, N.J.

Survivors include her husband, William H. Wallace of Beverly Hills; two sons, Joseph and Rachael Estelow of Burlington, N.J., and Richard and Ginger Estelow of Burlington, N.J.; two daughters, Audrey and Thomas Bock of Florence, N.J., and Wanda and Norman Burns of Burlington, N.J.; one brother, Theodore and Pauline Ciemiengo of Burlington, N.J.; and six grandchildren, Joseph Estelow, Billy Estelow, Angela Estelow, Thomas Bock, Lacey Bock and Sandra Burns.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Citrus County.

Local arrangements are under the care of Brown Funeral Home of Crystal River. Services will be in Burlington, N.J.

William Armbruster, 83 Inverness

William Embry Armbruster, 83, Inverness, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, in Ocala.

He was born April 16, 1918, in Brooklyn N.Y., to William and Dorothy Armbruster. He came to Citrus County in 1982 from Tampa.

He was a Merchant Marine and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a member of the Faith Masonic Lodge, Boston. He was Protestant.

He was preceded in death on May 24, 1996 by his wife, Helen V. Armbruster.

Surviving is a friend, Michael Severin of Inverness.

Theresa Feraco, 89 Inverness

Theresa Margaret Feraco, 89, Inverness, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness.

She was born April 4, 1912, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Joseph and Rose (Tipaldo) Cinque. She came to Citrus County 37 years ago from New York.

Mrs. Feraco retired from McCrory Stores in New City as a bookkeeper with 35 years of service. She was Catholic.

She was preceded in death Dec. 27, 1994, by her husband, Demetrius T. Feraco.

Surviving is her brother, Francis A. (Jane) Cinque of Muncie, Ind. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.

Catherine Haviland, 83 Inverness

Catherine Louise Haviland, 83, of Stoneridge Landing, Inverness, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness.

She was born Sept. 26, 1918, in Blue Island, Ill., to Frank and Cora (Draeger) Krhon. She came to Citrus County in 1991 from Cambridge, Wis.

Mrs. Haviland was a retired operator with AT&T.

She served in the Women痴 Army Corps during World War II.

She was a member and past president of Mundelein VFW Post 7191 of Mundelein, Ill. She was Catholic.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Carl E. Haviland; one daughter, Janice Bartolai of Highland Park, Ill.; one brother, Frank Krhon of Satsuma; and one grandson, Brett Bartolai.

Virginia Lefler, 81 Charlotte, N.C.

Virginia Webster Lefler, 81, of Charlotte, N.C., died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, at her home.

She was born in Dallas to George Beeler Webster and Gertrude Wight Horr Webster. She moved to Fort Lauderdale with her family, and spent many years in Floral City.

She supported her husband, Robert W. Lefler, while he served in World War II and went to college and dental school. She also managed a dental practice while raising five children.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dr. Robert Wendell Lefler; son-in-law, Calvin B. Flanagan; and grandson, Michael J. Ryan.

Mrs. Lefler is survived by four daughters, Barbara A. Cribbs and her husband, David, of Charlotte N.C., Carol V. Simmons and her husband, Paul, of Jupiter, Susan D. Flanagan of Austin, Texas, and Elizabeth Kay Ryan and her husband, Hugh, of Chicago, Ill.; one son, Robert W. Lefler Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Minneapolis, Minn.; one sister, Shirley Daniels and her husband, Ray, of Marion, N.C.; and 12 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Charlotte, 1420 E. 7th St., Charlotte, N.C. 28204.

Marjorie McGeoghegan, 82 Inverness

Marjorie May McGeoghegan, 82, Inverness, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, at her daughter痴 home in Inverness.

A native of Watertown, Mass., she was born Feb. 10, 1919, to the late Everett and Helena Tobin. She had been a seasonal resident of Inverness since 1993 from Hamilton, Mass. She was a retired certified nursing assistant and was Protestant by faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Leslie McGeoghegan.

Surviving are three daughters, Joan Emerson of Inverness, Darlene Nye of Indian Rocks Beach and Judith Moore of Croton Falls, N.Y.; two brothers, Charles Tobin of Danvers, Mass., and Donald Standley of Hamilton, Mass.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Karen L. O達rien, 52, Lecanto, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, in Inverness.

She was born March 18, 1949, in Huntington, N.Y., to Joseph and Annamae Kelly and came to Citrus County in 1996 from Shirley, N.Y. She was an avid line dancer and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Beverly Hills.

Surviving are her husband, John J. O達rien of Lecanto; two sons, Sean J. O達rien of Lecanto and Patrick Dennis O達rien of Mastic, N.Y.; four daughters, Tracy Lynn Mirable of Blauvelt, N.Y., Jennifer C. Orsi, Kylene S. O達rien and Kerri L. O達rien, all of Lecanto; mother, Annamae Brown of Deer Isle, Maine; sister, Pamela Proach of Lancaster, Pa.; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis J. Kelly.

Justin C. Page, 5, Homosassa, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, in Homosassa.

Born July 7, 1996, in Inverness to Michael and Jennelle M. Page, Justin was a lifetime resident of Homosassa. He attended Rock Crusher Elementary School and was a member of the Crystal River Little League Pelicans T-ball team. He attended Rock Crusher First Church of God.

Surviving are his mother, Jennelle M. Page of Homosassa; father, Michael Page of Citronelle; sister, Shannon Marie Page of Homosassa; paternal grandparents, Peggy and Grant Page of Gurley, Ala.; paternal grandmother, Jeannie Collins of Citronelle; maternal grandmother, Deborah Jenkins of Homosassa; maternal grandfather, Russell Jackson of Crestview; two uncles, Joe Jackson of Homosassa and Grant Lee Page of Gurley, Ala.; aunt, Crystal Hix of Homosassa.

Lela Allen, 75 Ocala

Lela W. Allen, 75, Ocala, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.

Born in Petersburg, Ill., she moved to Ocala five years ago from Chicago, Ill.

She was a former assembly worker for Duro Arts, Evanston, Ill.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Chicago. She was Baptist, but attended the Living Waters Worship Center in Ocala.

Surviving are six daughters, Sandra Furnett and Margaret Bappert both of Chicago, Ill., Dorothy Trent of Ocala, Roberta Avila of New Rochelle, N.Y., Doris Valencia of Shrub Oak, N.Y., and Ramona Otomo of Chicago, Ill.; 23 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, William Allen and David Allen.
