Dorethea E. (Tommie) Murphy
Dorethea E. (Tommie) Murphy, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2010 after a massive stroke.
She was born in Pittsfield, MA June 16, 1919.
She graduated from Miami Senior High in 1936. She worked from 1942 to 1945 as Secretary to the Commanding Officer of the Air Service Command in Miami; from 1946 to 1961 as Secretary to CEO of H.C. Price Co. During 1952 to 1956, when Price Towers was being built Tommie worked also as Secretary for Frank Lloyd Wright. She then worked for Colonial Pipeline Company, Atlanta, GA from 1962 to 1998 as Executive Assistant to four different Presidents.
After retirement she moved to Mount Dora, FL. She is survived by one brother, Edward H. Thompson of Mount Dora, FL. She is to be cremated. There will be no service.

Loraine B. Herman, 92, of Sorrento, FL passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2010.

Charles W. “Bill” Miller
Charles W. “Bill” Miller, 79, of Zellwood, FL passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010.
Bill was born in Washington, IN on February 21, 1930 to the late Frank T. Miller and Mae (Clemons) Miller.
He moved to Central Florida from Washington, IN in 1958.
Bill was a truck broker with Carroll Fullmer Logistics.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Miller Stenstrom.
Bill is survived by his wife, Delores Miller of Zellwood, FL; son, Craig Miller of Tavares, FL; brother, Donald Miller of Gainesville, GA; sisters, Juanita Brummet of Clearwater, FL, Joann Decker of Logansport, IN and Colleen Copple of Plano, TX; and 4 granddaughters.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. on Monday, January 18, 2010 at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home in Mount Dora, FL.
A funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home in Mount Dora, FL with Dr. Edward L. Williams officiating.
Interment will follow at Pine Forest cemetery in Mount Dora, FL.
Mary Elizabeth Johnson
Mary Elizabeth Johnson, of Mount Dora, FL passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010.
She was born in Bloomfield, IN to the late William Ellis Inman and Elizabeth (Keith) Inman.
She moved to Central Florida from Melrose, MA in 1972.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mount Dora, Mount Dora Yacht Club, and the Mount Dora Golf Association.
She is survived by her son, Phillip Johnson; daughter, Ann Elizabeth Olsthoorn; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Interment will take place at Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield, IN.

Kevin Louis Higgins
Kevin Louis Higgins, 16, of Eustis, FL, a sophomore at Eustis High School went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Kevin was born in Fort Bragg, NC on May 30, 1993.
Kevin loved God, his family, enjoyed playing baseball, football, basketball and outdoor activities. He enjoyed playing board and card games with friends and family, especially monopoly and chess. Kevin was known as a "Gentle Giant" because of his tall stature and warm, sweet, kind spirit. No words can express how much we will love and miss him until we see him again in heaven.
He is survived by his parents, Floyd "Buster" and Kristi (Klefeker) Higgins; sisters, Ashley, Amber; brother, Chad; grandparents, Marvin and Betty Higgins; grandfather, Phil Klefeker; uncle and aunts; David and Connie Higgins, Dennis and Tasha Higgins, Patrick and Carla Klefeker, Julie Dey, Mike and Jana Klefeker; cousins, Josh, Zack, Matt, Samatha, Jordan, Lindsey, Jansen, Jeremy, Morgan Klefeker, Jenna, Jamie, Sean Dey, Kayla, Dayne, Elyza, Jacob, Edward, Lydia and DJ Higgins.

Burial will be held at 10 AM on Monday, January 18, 2010 at Florida National cemetery located at 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.

Nettie Kallmyer Troth
Nettie Kallmyer Troth, born in Scottsville, VA and proud of her heritage, passed away on January 5, 2010. She began her journey in 1910, daughter of Phillip Leland Anderson and Laura Lee Sadler, and enjoyed a fulfilled life and marriage with her husband, Lewis Kallmyer, for fifty-three years. Her gift and passion of teaching showed in the hundreds of children she taught over fifty years. Education and literacy were her loves.
Nettie loves God, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son, James Leland Kallmyer of Troy AL; her daughters, Ananka Kallmyer of Fairfield IO and Elizabeth K. Railey of New York City, NY; and her daughter-in-law, Linda Kallmyer of Berkeley Springs, WV.
Her grandchildren, Rose Rouner, Whitney Anderson Railey and Nettie Elizabeth Ruppert Tilton will carry forth her legacy of love and share many memories with her great-grandchildren, Julian Rouner and Naomi Rouner.
Nettie was honored to be one of the longest-standing members of St. Edwards Episcopal Church in Mt. Dora, FL. She loved nature and was a member of the Lakes and Hills Garden Club, as well as the Mt. Dora Yacht Club.
At age 77, she was happy to marry Paul H. Troth, a marriage that lasted twenty years. Between the two of them, they were blessed with one hundred and twenty-five years of marriage!
Services will be held at St. Edwards Episcopal Church, Mt. Dora, FL on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 2 P.M. In lieu of flowers, kindly make a donation to the St. Edwards Memorial Fund.
Marguerite Coulter
Marguerite Coulter, 85, of Mount Dora, FL passed away in her home on Monday, January 4, 2010.
She was born in Baltimore, MD on March 19, 1924.
Marguerite enjoyed her summers with her brother, Buddy and sister, May by the Chesapeake Shore.
She moved to Orlando in 1956 where she enjoyed her career building missiles at Martin Marietta in Orlando. After thirty years of service with what is now known as Lockheed Martin, she retired to Mount Dora where she spent the remainder of her years with her close family, friends and fellowship at the First Presbyterian Church.
In her retirement, she enjoyed caring for infants and children and was the nursery caregiver at First Presbyterian Church of Mount Dora.
She had a daughter, Bonnie, who is now with her in heaven. She is survived by her daughter, Kim; grandson, Michael; brother-in-law, Len; and niece, Linda.
A memorial service will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, January 11, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Dora.
