Marie J. Wasmuth 78, of Eustis, passed away on September 6, 2011. She was born in Albany, New York and moved here in 2000 from Orlando. Marie was Catholic and had worked as a switchboard operator.
She is survived by her sons, Steven Wasmuth of Eustis and John Wasmuth of Texas and her grandson Gregory Wasmuth of Ft. Myers, Florida.
Beverly E. Carr
Beverly E. Carr 83, of Eustis, passed away on September 6, 2011. She was born in Illinois and moved here in 2008 from Springfield, Illinois. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Springfield and affiliated with First United Methodist Church of Eustis.
Beverly is survived by her husband Robert; they were married
for over 60 years, her son Rolin C. (Rose) Carr of Springfield and her sister Vesta Livengood of Bartonville, Illinois. She was predeceased by her daughter Kathleen in 2006.
A Memorial Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 2941 South Koke Mill Road, Springfield, IL 62711, on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. Pastor Michael Paulson will be overseeing the service.
Stuart Arthur Coiner
Stuart Arthur Coiner 59, of Eustis, passed away on September 6, 2011. He was born in Staunton, Virginia. He was a Missionary with the Rafiki Foundation in Uganda and Zambia, a Gideon and a retired electrical engineer. Stuart was affiliated with the New Hope Presbyterian Church of Eustis.
He is survived by his wife Marsha, his children Paul Bryant Coiner of Virginia, Elisa Diane (Jonathan) Barnes of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Melanie Lynne (Ross) Barnard of Augusta, Georgia, his brother Ronald Wesley Coiner or Irwin, Pennsylvania, sister Linda Mae Archer of Alabama and his grandchildren Allana and Jaina Barnes.
Memorial services were held in the New Hope Presbyterian Church of Eustis on Sunday, September 11th at 2 PM with Rev. Richard Burguet officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Rafiki Foundation, P.O. Box 1988, Eustis, FL 32727, www.rafikifoundation,org.
Robert E. Stark
July 1, 1935 - September 8, 2011
Robert E. “Scooter” Stark 76, of Eustis, passed away on September 8, 2011. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved here in the 1940s. He was a retired air conditioning and heating technician. He graduated from Mount Dora High School in 1953 where he served as the Captain of the Football team.
He was predeceased by his wife Joyce in 2009 and is survived by his children Sabrina Howell of Orlando, Robert E. (Kay) Stark II of Lady Lake, Florida and Tracy (Randy) Hawkins of Umatilla, stepsons Stanley (Lori) Young of Miami and Steven (Kelly) Young of Orlando, brothers James Stark and Norvell Charles Stark of South Carolina and Jerry Stark of Ocala, Florida, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Mr. Stark was predeceased by his sister Marie DeLaney and his grandson Randy Lee Hawkins II in 1985.
Services were held in Lakeside Memory Gardens of Eustis at 11 AM Monday with Rev. Brooks Braswell officiating. The family requests those desiring direct memorials to Cornerstone Hospice.

Patricia E. “Pat” Savoy 69, of Eustis, passed away on September 11, 2011. She was born in Palatka, Florida and moved here from Ft. Lauderdale in 1996. Pat was a member of Plantation Baptist Church and had worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida. She enjoyed antiquing.
She is survived by her husband Donald, children Michele (Sal Parente) Savoy of Sunrise, Florida and Donald Charles Savoy of Plantation, her brothers Charles (Patricia) Butler of Deland and Wayne (Linda) Butler of Summerfield and her sister Kathryn (Jim) McCarthy of Deland.
The family requests donations the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association, P.O. Box 105, Glenolden, PA 19036. Memorial services were held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Wednesday September 14th at 11 AM.

Bonnie C. Segermark 65, of Eustis, passed away on September 11, 2011. She was born in Chicago and moved here in 2007 from Ft. Myers. She was a retired buyer for Jewel Foods of Barrington, Illinois and a member of The Hermitage of the Holy Innocence of Paisley. Bonnie was a prayer warrior and had volunteered at the Women’s Shelter of Chicago, the National Right to Life movement and for the homeless.
She is survived by her sister, Constance A. (Anthony) Tancredi of Paisley, brother Howard Segermark of Washington, D.C., niece Tonette (Joe) Smith of Sorrento and her great nieces, Katelyn and Lauren Smith.
Services were held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on September 13th (Tuesday) at 11 AM. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, Florida.

Sharon Lee Martin, 64, of Leesburg, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011. She was born in Washington, D.C. and moved to Central Florida from Tallahassee in 2008. She worked as a telephone operator for Embarq and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eustis. Sharon will be greatly missed by her many friends.
Felix Stevens
Felix Stevens, 95, Eustis, Fl., passed away on September 13, 2011 in Tavares, Fl., under the care of Cornerstone Hospice. Mr. Stevens was born in Poland and resided in New York before moving to Eustis, Fl. He was a retired mechanic in the automobile industry and was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by two sons: Paul P. Stevens of St. Francisville, La., and Donald M. Stevens of Pomfret Center, Ct.; and one Grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Linda Eamily Brown, 49, of Daytona Beach, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011. She was a homemaker and a graduate of Evans High School in Orlando.
She is survived by her children, Mark Allen Brown Jr., of Orlando, Kristy Lyn Brown of Vancouver, Washington, Jeffrey Lawrence Brown of Eustis and Makala Nichole Brown Fleming; her brother Wendell John Lutz; her sister Nancy Newlin of Apopka, her granddaughter Aries Izabella Brown and her former husband Mark Allen Brown, Sr. of Eustis. Linda was predeceased by her sister Mary Lutz.

Tommy Lee Harbin, Sr.
Tommy Lee Harbin, Sr. 84, Deland, FL, went to be with the Lord on September 16, 2011 in Tavares, FL. He was a Fire Prevention Specialist at Walt Disney World, and had been a Professional Firefighter in Washington, D.C. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was assigned to supply vessels during the war. He served on the Board of Directors of the Pine Lake Community Center. Tommy was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church of Eustis, Fl.
He is survived by his loving wife of 431/2 years Betty Harbin of Deland, FL; his children: Darrell T. Harbin of Deland, Fl., Tommy L. Harbin, Jr. (Barbara) of Tennessee, Charles M. Harbin (Deborah) of Virginia, Carol Harbin and Dale Harbin of Maryland, Lee Green of Deland, Fl., Ginger Connolly of Ocoee, Fl., Erica Parsons (Rick) of North Carolina; Several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; his brother James Harbin (Edna) of Orlando; his sisters Mamie Mills of Florida and Shirley Nicolella (John) of Georgia.

A visitation was held prior to the service from 10:00am till the hour of service at the church. Burial followed at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at 2:30 PM.

Mr. Ernest J. Machamer 90, of Eustis, passed away on October 3, 2011. He was born in Wiconisco, Pennsylvania and moved to Eustis in 1975 from Subic Bay, Philippines. Ernest was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church of Eustis and a Veteran having served as a Paratrooper in the U. S. Army during WWII. He was a retired boilermaker for the United States Department of Defense, a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Holy Name Society, the D.A.V. Chapter 87 of Cincinnati and Eustis Lodge 1578 B.P.O.E. Ernest was predeceased by both of his wives, Marie in 1957 and Wanda in 2010, children Elizabeth in 1955, Ernestine in 1960, Louis in 2009 and Joseph in 2010; and also his brother Eugene in 1930. He is survived by his children Patricia A. Gittins of Yuma, Arizona, James E. (Jenny) Machamer of Eustis, Karl E. (Edie) Machamer of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Frances M. (George) Gerst of Grand Island, Ernest J. (Rita) Machamer Jr. of Umatilla and Margaret "Peggy" (John) Brennan of Eustis; his sister Mildred Brubaker of Charleston, Arkansas; 21 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Thursday from 5 until 7 PM. There will be a Rosary at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Patrick Catholic Church of Mount Dora on Friday October 7th at 10 AM with Fr. Gilbert Medina officiating. James Vincent Cannelongo, surrounded by his loving family, passed on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011 at 92 years old. Jim was born on June 29th 1919. He moved to Central Florida in 1960 from Delaware and was a member of St. Edwards Episcopal Church of Mount Dora, a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII and a retired building contractor. Jim is survived by his loving wife Audrey, daughters Roberta Cannelongo, Anita Golden, 5 grandchildren Dominique and Angelica Cannelongo, Eli Traufield, Derek and Andrea Golden, 4 great-grand children and brothers, Tony, Joseph, Marty and Richard Cannelongo and many devoted nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his daughter Dorothy Linkenheimer and sister Josephine Pullo. Jim will be missed for his sense of humor, love of music, dancing and his wonderful Italian cooking. Bernard R. Alexander, age 81, of Umatilla passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011. He was born December 18, 1929 in Saginaw, MI and moved to Lake County 25 years ago. He was a retired accountant and a veteran of the US Army, having served in the Korean Conflict. He also was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia L. Coakley of Grand Island, FL; brother, Jack Alexander of MI; and grandson, Chad A. Coakley of Grand Island, FL.

Bertye Jean Roberts Baxter, 82, of Leesburg, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 of cancer. Mrs. Baxter was a Wal-Mart people greeter. Born in Miami she moved to Leesburg, Fla., in 1990. Survivors include her daughter, Gwynn Northington; son, Dale R. Baxter; sister, Teri Scott; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Hubert Bolenbaugh
Hubert Bolenbaugh, age 89, of Lady Lake, Fla., passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 after a short illness. Born June 4, 1920, he was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle in 1996, after 54 years of marriage. Surviving are his son, Paul of Jackson, Mich.; grandson, Brian; his youngest sister, Margaret Happel of Jackson, Mich.; and numerous nieces and nephews with one special niece, Linda Baxter. A graduate of Jackson High School class of 1938 and also a veteran of WWII, Hubert enjoyed the outdoors and was a true pet lover. He had a passion for tinkering and fixing anything. He is leaving behind many friends from the Lady Lake Mobile Home Park in Florida. At his request a cremation has taken place and the remains placed next to his wife at the Florida National cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
