Maureen R. Cregg
Maureen R. Cregg, died April 14, 2004, in Melbourne.
Born in Newburyport, MA she lived in Brevard County since 1980.
Miss Cregg was a graduate of Gould Academy and Trinity College Washington D.C.
She served her country proudly as a director of service clubs for the U.S. Air Force in North Dakota, Louisiana, Japan, Morocco and Spain.
She was a member of the League of Women Voters and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Maureen is survived by her sister Natalie Ballard; two brothers, Donald Cregg and Hugh Cregg, Jr.; five nephews and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Melbourne Beach.

llan “Grandpa Al” Stanley
Melbourne - Allan “Grandpa Al” Stanley, 70, died Monday, April 5, 2004 in Melbourne, Fl.
Al was born in Brooklyn, New York and came to Brevard County in 1989.
He retired from New York Telephone Company with 38 years of service.
Al is survived by his sons, Steven A. Stanley and Scott E. Stanley; and five grandchildren, Donald, Raymond, Andrew, Julie and Joshua.
Memorial Services will be held 10:00 O’clock A.M., Saturday, April 10, 2004 at Beach Funeral Home West Chapel Melbourne/Suntree.
His greatest joy was always helping children.
He spent many hours as a volunteer at The Space Coast Early Intervention Center where he became known as “Grandpa Al.”

Mechtilda Margaret Yourick/"Gram Mac," our adored mother, beloved grandmother, our teacher, our supporter, our heroine, our inspiration, our #1 fan, our friend, and the matriarch of our family passed away at age 80 on April 21, 2004 in Melbourne, FL.
She is now embraced in the arms of God and surrounded by angels, experiencing peace and joy side by side with her husband, George Yourick, the love of her life for 40 years.
M. Margaret Yourick was raised in and lived in Pittsburgh until 1973.
After she moved to Florida, she continued to be a "Pittsburgher" at heart.
She was an avid Steelers fan, and the secretary of the Pittsburgh Club in Melbourne, FL for many years.
Gram Mac was the cornerstone of our close knit family.
We maintain that spirit in our time of grieving for a dear loved one lost and the celebration of a life lived to its fullest.
She will be greatly missed by her children Pat and Bob McGee, Judith Butler, Mary Ellen and Steve Bear, Joan Parks-Roach and John Roach, and Bud and Linda Yourick, grandchildren Jennifer, Sam, Sara, Ryan, Chris, Alexis, and Katie, her beloved godson Father Edward Bunchek, and many other family members and friends.

Evelyn Chrusciel, 89, died Sunday, April 4, 2004.
She was born in Passaic, NJ and came to Florida in 1984.
Evelyn is survived by her niece, Dr. Nancy Bottge.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Wednesday, April 7, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Indialantic.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Palm Bay.
Virginia Polk O’Conor
Virginia Polk O’Conor, born May 26, 1917 Ft. Wayne Indiana. Departed April 11, 2004, Melbourne.
married to the late John Edward O’Conor Jr.
They moved to Indialantic in 1994 from Miami and retired to the Fountains of Melbourne in 2003.
Mrs. O’Conor was an accomplished, pianist, singer and dancer throughout her professional career.
She hosted her own talk show in 1938 as one of America’s first woman in that field.
She wrote poetry, composed music and competed in ballroom dancing well into her 80’s.
She was a cousin to President James Polk and her great uncle helped draft the Indiana State Constitution.
Mrs. O’Connor is survived by her nephews, John O’Conor Leonard of Ft. Wayne, IN and Allan Pullman of Nyack, NY; two first cousins, Rev. Dr. Joe G. Emerson of Bloomington, IN and Lytle Emerson of Franklin, IN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 16 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Indialantic.
The Rosary will be said prior to the mass at 9:30 a.m.
Burial will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Darina J. McMurrough
Darina J. McMurrough, 59, of Indian Harbour Beach, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008.
She was born in Ashland, KY to Fred and Hilda Mutters.
Darina was raised in Columbus, OH and graduated from South High School.
She came to Brevard County in 1993.
Darina was founder and co-owner with husband Michael McMurrough of local A-1 Mortgage Professionals and Savannah River Spice Company.
She was a member of and Past President of FAMB, Space Coast Chapter and member of Space Coast Board of Realtors.
Darina was our Matriach, the glue that held our family together, and a wonderful event, party and holiday planner.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Mike; sons, David Burch, Jr, and Douglas Burch; daughter, DeNeane (Chaz) Guidone; brother, Perry (Anita) Mutters; sister, Sheryl Rodeback; brother-in-laws, Bill and Jim McMurrough; sister-in-laws, Mary Owens, Jennifer Gentgen and Jeannie Miller; father-in-law, Malcom Gentgen; grandchildren, Darren Harrington, Christina Burch, Andriana Guidone, Kelly Burch, Brittany Burch, Alexandria Guidone, Bryan Burch, Jessikah Deskins, Joshua Burch, Emily Gentgen; one great-grandson, Darren Harrington, Jr,; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents Fred and Hilda Mutters, sister, Fredda Cuiksa and a very special daughter-in-law, JoAnna Burch preceded her in death.
