He was a retired postal clerk in Hicksville, N.Y., an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, Catholic, member of the United Italian-American Club in Port Richey, Chester McKay Post 7987 Veterans of Foreign Wars in New Port Richey; the National Association of Retired Postal Workers, AARP, and Father Farrell Council 6476 Knights of Columbus in Holiday. He is survived by his wife, Katherine A.; two sons, Gerald A. of Orange, Va., and Salvatore G. of Sound Beach, N.Y.; a daughter, Katherine A. Bumgardner of Port Richey; a brother, Ciro of Rocky Point, N.Y.; a sister, Angela of Rocky Point; and eight grandchildren. Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home, Bartelt Road, Holiday.

She was a retired secretary for the Teamsters Union in New Haven, and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in New Port Richey. ALBERT F. COURTER JR., 77, of Hudson died Wednesday at Columbia New Port Richey Hospital. A native of Newark, N.J., he moved to this area 10 years ago from New Jersey. He was a retired automotive teacher for the Ocean Township School System in New Jersey, Coast Guard veteran, a member of the Coast Guard Combat Veteran Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars in Hudson, Fleet Reserve and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Edith; a son, Albert III of Middletown, N.J.; two daughters, Judith Furrow of Hudson, and Eleanor Unger of Toms River, N.J.; a brother, Robert E.
