Dominick Rapisardi
Dominick Rapisardi, 93, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.
He was born
Oct. 18, 1912, in Massini, Italy.
Mr. Rapisardi moved to the Port Charlotte area 22 years ago from Brooklyn, N.Y. He worked as a cabinet maker for a furniture store. Mr. Rapisardi was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.
He is survived by his son, Jerry A. (Josephine) Rapisardi of Port Charlotte; one brother, John Rapisardi of Kendall, Fla.; one sister, Josie Marino of Hallandale, Fla.; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 9:15 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2500 Easy St., Port Charlotte.

H. Lynn Rice
H. Lynn Rice, 96, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2005. He was born
Dec. 20, 1908, in Meadville, Pa., to Frank and Blanche (Garrison) Rice.
H. Lynn was a music teacher for 40 years in Corry, Pa., and moved to Punta Gorda in 1971. He was a member of Punta Gorda Country Club and Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association. H. Lynn was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Port Charlotte, Fla.
He will be missed by his nephew, Bob (Donna) Rice of Dayton, Ohio. H. Lynn was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; and two brothers, Clifford and Charles. He was preceded in death by his parents.

James F. Bradley
James F. Bradley, 89, of Englewood, Fla., died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005, at Englewood Community Hospital.
He was born
July 19, 1916, in New York, N.Y., to Francis and Agnes (Farrell) Bradley.
Mr. Bradley served in the U.S. 10th Army Air Force as a corporal during the China, Burma and India Theater during World War II. He retired as a trust officer from Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City. Mr. Bradley moved to the Englewood area five years ago from Nashville, Tenn. He was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church of Englewood.
He is survived by his wife, Ann M. Bradley of Englewood; two sons, Kevin G. (Karen) Bradley of Stowe, Vt., and Brendan (Christine) Bradley of Englewood; a daughter, Maryellen F. Bradley of Bushkill, Pa.; and two granddaughters, Erin and Shannon Bradley.
A memorial service will be held a later date at St. Raphael's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Queens, N.Y.

Wanda Teller
Wanda Teller, 71, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, N.C.
She was born
May 13, 1934, in Missouri, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Hibbitts. She retired from A.C. Nielsen and her own arts and crafts business.
She is survived by her loving husband, William Teller; daughter, Lisa Purdin; son-in-law, Shayne Purdin; and much loved granddaughter, Angel Purdin.
A memorial service will be at noon Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, at Englewood Church of the Nazarene, 404 W. Green St., Englewood. The Rev. Paul Ray will conduct the service.

He was born
December 17, 1914, in Jamaica, West Indies.
He moved to this area in 1988 from New York. He was a retired builder and a member of the North Port New Testament Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Grant of North Port; two sons, Rev. Leighton (Cynthia) Grant of Elmont, N.Y., and Maurice G. (Orchid) Grant of Franklin Park, N.Y.; a sister, Gwendolyn Benjamin of Jamaica; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys Grant in 2002.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2005, at Port Charlotte chapel of the Roberson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at the Port Charlotte New Testament Church of God, 21011 Midway Blvd., Port Charlotte. Rev. Leighton S. Grant and Rev. Fennis Huggins will officiate. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.

Jesse Norris Jr.
Jesse Norris Jr., 75, of Arcadia Fla., died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005.
He was born
Aug. 24, 1929, in Arcadia.
Jesse was a lifelong resident of Arcadia. He served in the U.S. Army. He retired from the Florida Department of Transportation after 42 years of service in the Bridge Building and Maintenance department. He also worked as a cattle gate operator for the Arcadia Livestock Market. Jesse was an honorary member and owner of the Wet Foot Hunting Club. He loved hunting, fishing, and cooking. He served as a past member of the deputized Sheriff's Posse. He was a true "Southern Gentleman." He was of the Baptist faith. Jesse was better known as "Pot-so," "Honey," or "Junior" to those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Jo Norris of Arcadia; daughter, Alicia (Dan) Cooper of Arcadia; grandsons, William (Candie) Cooper of Arcadia and Bronson Lawson of Decatur, Tenn.; granddaughters, Brittany (Leo) Bonagua of Tampa, Fla., and Bridgett (Jeff) Camp of Arcadia; seven great-grandchildren, Kelsey and KayCee Cooper, Presslie Metcalf, Jesse Bonagua, Dalton and Preston Camp, and Hollie Lawson; and a brother, Edward (Mary) Norris of Tyler, Texas.
Visitation is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, at the Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., in Arcadia.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005, at the Ponger-Kays-Grady Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Arcadia.

Ursula Babb-Dache
Ursula Babb-Dache, 76, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.
She was born
Feb. 13, 1929, in Trinidad, West Indies.
Ursula was a retired customer service representative for American Express. She moved to Port Charlotte in 1998 from Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Port Charlotte.
She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Anne Gibson of Trinidad; three sons, Douglas L. Gibson, Keith R. Gibson, and Jeffery C. Gibson all of Trinidad; three sisters, Janet C. Williams of Port Charlotte, Lucille L. Moe of U.S. Virgin Islands and Hazel D. Ignacio of Trinidad; four brothers, Kenneth N. Babb of Trinidad, Edgar R. Babb of Trinidad, Norman Babb of New Orleans, La., and McDonald Babb of Trinidad; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel followed by funeral services at 4 p.m.
Rev. Dale E. Roberts will officiate. Inurnment will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.

Armando Albuquerque
Armando "Al" Albuquerque, 83, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005 at Harbour Health Center in Port Charlotte.
He was born
July 20, 1922 in Lisbon, Portugal.
Al was a retired machinist for the Bardens Corp. of Danbury, Conn., and moved to Port Charlotte in 1979 where he spent many happy years with his family and many friends. Al also loved the sea.
He is survived by two sons, Armando (Maria) Albuquerque of Brookfield, Conn., and Joseph (Lisa) of Southbridge, Va.; a brother, Mario (Lourdes) Sousa of Danbury, Conn.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Matilda who died in 2003.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

George E. Brandow
George E. Brandow, 92, of Sarasota, Fla., died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005.
He was born
June 8, 1913, in Roxbury, N.Y.
George graduated from Cornell University and served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a professor emeritus of agricultural economics at Penn State University. He moved to the area in 1997 and was a member of the Burnt Store Country Club.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Adelaide; brother, Edmund of Franklin, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
Inurnment will be in New York.
Lorraine P. Doolan
Lorraine P. Doolan, 85, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005 at Peace River Regional Medical Center in Port Charlotte.
She was born
March 10, 1920, in Chicopee, Mass.
Lorraine moved to Port Charlotte in 2002 from Bristol, Conn.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen M. (Craig) Harger and Laurie Ann (Wayne) Williams both of Punta Gorda, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James Doolan who died in 1982.
Private committal services and inurnment at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte will be held at a later date.

Phyllis June Jerris, 80, of Port Charlotte, Fla. passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2005.
She was born
Oct. 19, 1925, in Elkhart, Ind.
Mrs. Jerris was a homemaker and moved to this area in June of 1988 from Santa Clara, Calif. She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her husband Leon; daughters, Linda Johnson of Bellingham, Wash.; Vickie Pitts of Orlando, Fla.; son, Steven of Port Charlotte; sister, Betty Halasi of Niles, Mich.; brother, James Holderman of Cassopolis, Mich.; grandchildren, Keeli Bradey, Sarah Johnson, Evan Johnson, Kaleb Avery, Nicola Clevenger, Jenna Jerris, Lee Jerris; and 10 great-grandchildren.

May 30, 1945 in Arkansas.
Dyiann was a homemaker.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Simms of Punta Gorda; stepdaughters, Angela (Larry) Peaze of Indiana, and Bonita (Karl) Steele of Port Charlotte, Fla.
