Mr. Antonio Fiorelli
Antonio Fiorelli, 66, Bradenton, passed away Dec. 23, 2013. He was born
on July 20, 1947 in Palermo, Italy to the late Salvatore and Rosalia (Salerno) Fiorelli.
Antonio moved to Bradenton 32 years ago coming from Miami. He was the owner of Fiorelli Winery in Bradenton, and was a member of the Grape Growers Association, and many other wine and grape organizations.
Antonio is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Rosa (Modica) Fiorelli of Bradenton, son, Salvatore of Bradenton, two daughters; Rosalia Chambers of Bradenton, Antonella Fiorelli of Tampa, Fl., brother, Salvatore Fiorelli of Italy, two sisters; Francesca Ciappola and Sarafina Porcello both of Italy, three grandchildren; Michael and Christina Chambers, and Mariaurora Sciortino, and many extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 at Shannon Funeral Home Town Chapel, 1015 14th St. W., Bradenton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 12908 E. St. Road 70, Bradenton.
Mr. Donald Edson Race
Donald Edson Race, 84, Bradenton, died on Dec. 20, 2013 at home.
Born in Rome, NY., to the late Homer and Estella Race, he received a bachelor’s degree from Teacher’s College (now Central Connecticut State University) before serving as an officer in the Marines during the Korean War. He subsequently completed a Master’s degree at Springfield College, Springfield MA, and post-graduate work at Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
His lifelong focus was in education and he taught United States History for 35 years at Manchester High School (CT). As an avid athlete, he coached high school and youth baseball, and was a high school soccer referee. Mr. Race resided in Glastonbury, CT for three decades prior to retiring in Bradenton, FL in 1989.
He leaves his wife of 53 years, Diane M. Race (nee Davis), three sons Randall S. Race and his wife Dorothy of Baltimore MD, Thomas C. Race and his wife Alma of Stockbridge MI, and Edward A. Race of Glastonbury CT, as well as five grandchildren: Melissa, Nicole, Tyler, Benjamin, and Coleman.

Ms. Frances H. Kinkle
Frances H. Kinkle, Longboat Key, formerly of Red Bank, NJ, passed away Dec. 19, 2013 at the Arden Courts, Assisted Living for Alzheimer’s.
Fran was born
on March 31, 1934 in Williamsport, PA to the late Lewis and Mildred (Pisco) Kinkle, and raised in Camden, NJ. She was a proud and enthusiastic graduate of Camden Catholic High School. Fran graduated from Georgian Court College and continued to study for her Master’s at Rutgers University. As a teacher Fran was dedicated to the children she taught. They brought her great joy.
She was predeceased by her two brothers; Lewis and Joseph, and her sister, Priscilla Powers. She is survived by her brothers; William of Pennsauken, NJ, Julius of Ft. Myers, FL, sister, Dominica Hubler of Biloxi, MS, her close friend and caregiver, Mary Lou Webster of Longboat Key, FL, and many extended family members and friends.
Private services will be held at a later date. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Joe Romanowski Culinary Education Fund (JOCEF), Box 471, West Long Branch, NJ 07764, or to the Longboat Island Chapel, 6200 Gulf of Mexico Dr., Longboat Key, FL 34228 in her memory.

Mrs. Pearlie Ashcraft Hooton
Pearlie Ashcraft Hooton, 94, Bradenton, passed away Dec. 16, 2013. She was born
Oct. 1, 1919 in Ravenna, KY to the late Clarence and Sarah (Brinegar) Tipton.
She has been a resident of Bradenton for the last five years coming from Kentucky and New Mexico. Locally she attended The Tabernacle in Sarasota.
Pearlie was predeceased by a son, Elmer C. Ashcraft, daughters, Lorena McIntosh, and Ila Marie Ascraft, brother, James Tipton, and a great-great-grandchild. She is survived by two sons; Clarence W. Ashcraft of Mt. Vernon, IL, James E. Ashcraft of Spencer, TN, daughter, Shirley A. Carnes of Bradenton, eight grandchildren; Bill Ashcraft of Punta Gorda, FL,, Jon Ashcraft of Danville, KY, Kathy Ashcraft of Mt. Vernon, IL, Rhonda Carnes of Gulfport, FL, Rebecca Carnes of Bradenton, Michael and Mark McIntosh of Dayton, OH, Sean McIntosh of Huber Heights, OH, six great-grandchildren; Jonathan Ashcraft of Danville, KY, Michael Tallent of Carol Stream, IL, Briana and Jonathon Kesler of Bradenton, Sean and Christopher McIntosh of Huber Heights, OH and two great-great-grandchildren; Ava and Kail McIntosh of Huber Heights, OH.

Mrs. Mary Lucille Knight Coleman
Mary Lucille Knight Coleman, ("MaMa"), Bradenton, passed away on December 12, 2013.
She was born
on Nov. 22, 1910 in Chase City, Virginia. She was graduated from Woman's College of N.C., Greensboro, and then became the Religious Director at Meredith College.
She married "her sweetheart" Thomas Rupert Coleman in 1934, who predeceased her in 1998. They resided in Richmond, VA, Coral Gables, Lakeland, and Bradenton, FL. During retirement they served the Foreign Mission Board for several years in Turkey, Greece and Taiwan. Thereafter they spent half of each year at their cabin on Gingercake Mt., NC, her "slice of heaven on earth."
She is survived by her son and his wife, Larry and Nancy Coleman, three granddaughters and their husbands; Kimberly and Mike Mulligan, Heather and Brett Cooley, Shannon and Ryan Young, and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Nicodemo "Nick" Vinci
Nicodemo “Nick” Vinci, 92, Palmetto, passed away Dec. 8, 2013.
Nick was born
Oct. 24, 1921 in Dasa, Italy to the late Vincenzo and Antoinette (Posca) Vinci. He worked as a tailor in CT for many years, and moved to Florida in 1997, settling in Naples, then in 2005 moved to Palmetto.
Nick was predeceased by his wife, Jenny (Montagnese) Vinci, and a grandson, Steven Vinci, and is survived by his two loving children; Vincent (Cindi) Vinci of Trinity, FL, Toni (Bill) Lysobey of Palmetto, FL, sister, Dina Corbo of Sparta, NJ, four grandchildren; Vincent “Vinny” (Tracy) Lysobey, Laura (Rick) Tveter, Brian (Mika) Vinci, Lisa Vinci, four great-grandchildren; Hailey and Vincent, Jr., Lysobey, Megan and Christopher Tveter, and many extended family members and friends.

Mrs. Sandra "Sandy" Sullivan
Sandra "Sandy" Sullivan, 67, of Bradenton, passed away on December 6, 2013.
Sandy is survived by her loving partner of 15 years, Tim Schroyer, children; Todd (Tammy), Tammy (Billy), Sheena (Baraa), and Scott (Kristi), parents; Chester and Lucille Owens, sisters Bobbie Korneder and Kathy Ranck; brother; Mike Owens, 11 grandchildren, 3 grand-dogs and 1 grand-cat.
Sandy was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Before retirement, she was a Regional Manager with recycled paper greetings at a greeting card company. Sandy was a long time parishioner of St Joseph's Catholic Church and a member of the Celebration Singers. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00pm at Shannon Funeral Home Town Chapel, 1015 14th St. W. Bradenton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 1:00pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 3100 26th St. W Bradenton.
The honor of being pallbearers has been placed on Barbara Forrester, Barbara Parker, Christine Schuessler, Georgia Juback, Marie Hussey, Mary Miller, Sherry Troutman, and Teri Gully.
Donations may be made to the Manasota Solve House, St. Joseph's Indian School, or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Mr. Ronald D. Reiter
Ronald D. Reiter, 56, Palmetto, passed away Dec. 3, 2013. Ronald was born
Feb. 24, 1957 in Fostoria, OH to Paul L. and Martha (Ward) Reiter. He has been a resident of Manatee County since an early age. Ronald worked as a transmission mechanic and was an avid NASCAR fan, and raced at the DeSoto Speedway. He was predeceased by his wife, Teresa, father, Paul, and two brothers; Richard and Rex. Survived by his four children, Jessica, Ryan, Ronnie, Jeremy, mother, Martha, two brothers; Rodney (Patti) Smithley, Kenneth Reiter, sister, Debbie all of Manatee County, step-sister, Toni Barber of GA, and one precious grandson, Riley Parks of Manatee County. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013 at Shannon Funeral Home Town Chapel, 1015 14th St. W., Bradenton. Services will be 11 AM on Monday, Dec. 9, 2013 in the funeral home chapel. Committal to follow at Mansion Memorial Park, Ellenton.
Mrs. Christina Marie Hobbs
Christina M. Hobbs, 34, of Bradenton, passed away on December 2, 2013.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 7:00pm at Central Christan Church, 926 15th St W. Bradenton.
She will be greatly missed.
Mr. Stewart R. Metzler
Stewart R. Metzler, age 57, died suddenly on Saturday, November 30, 2013. Stewart is survived by his wife of 31 years, Barbara, his son; Corey (Cari), his daughter; Heather, grandson; Aedan, his mother; Elizabeth, 4 brothers; Robert, Ray, Scott, and Patrick, 6 sisters; Susie, Sharie, Sally, Debbie, Lisa, and Lynda and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Robert.
Stewart worked in the Aquatics field for over 35 years, the last 25 years with DBI as a Safety Manager, involved with the Boy Scouts for years and loved hunting and camping.
Viewing is Saturday, December 7th, 2013 at 11:00 am with Funeral Services commencing at 12:00 pm (noon) at Shannon Funeral Home, 5610 Manatee Ave West, Bradenton, Florida 34209.
Stewart will be laid to rest at Skyway Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow.
