Mrs. Curry was born in Smithville, West Virginia, and was a resident of Fort Pierce for 20 years coming from Charleston, West Virginia.
She was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Senior Friends of Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and helped many area families raise their children as their nanny.
Ruth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Michelle Curry of Fort Pierce, Fl; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Stacey Curry of Naples, Fl; Daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Terry Cartwright of Sarasota, Fl; daughters, Miriam Ruth Hagar of Sarasota, Fl., Mary K. Yeager of Charleston, West Virginia, and Arnette Terlowski of Wheeling, West Virginia; several brothers and sisters, 21 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
