Pierce, FL; daughter, Linda Miller Kocisek and husband Charles of Muscle Shoals, AL; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three nieces; four nephews; he was preceded in death by his sons, Rodney and Steve Miller, brothers, Shannon Jr. and Jimmy Miller, and mother and father, Irene Cooper and Shannon Miller.

Walton "Carter" Brock
Walton “Carter” Brock, 81, long-time resident of Ft. Pierce, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2003 in Sebring. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Marguerite Rish Brock.
Born in Caryville, FL, he graduated from Holmes County High School in Bonifay and served in the Navy during World War II aboard the USS Little. He moved to Ft. Pierce in 1963 and retired from the Ft. Pierce Police Dept. in 1987. He had been active in the Fraternal Order of Police and was an officer at the local and state levels. He was a charter member of ST. Lucie Presbyterian Church and had served as a deacon at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Montgomery, AL and Indian River Presbyterian Church, Ft. Pierce.
He moved to Sebring in September 2001 to live with his daughter and her husband.
He is survived by daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Richard Lievestro, Sebring; daughter Jeni Brock Steele, Fort Pierce and Vero Beach, and granddaughter Aubri Steele, Fort Pierce.
The family wishes to thank Good Shepherd Hospice and most especially the dedicated staff of CrownPointe Assisted Living Facility who so lovingly cared for him from March through May of this year.
