Funeral services for Beulah Dalton, 80, 908 E. Ninth Court, who died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, in Albany, Ga., will be held today, Dec. 21, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Woodrow Wilson officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. She leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Sherman (Carla) Dalton; granddaughter, Bryani Dalton, all of Albany, Ga.; two brothers, Keller (Christine) Sheffield of Panama City and Nicanor (Margaret) Sheffield of Bronx, N.Y.; two sisters, Elvira Pinkney of Panama City and Tulyer Griffin of Columbus, Ga.; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mrs. Ruth Minnie Fuller, 72,of 903 Indiana
Ave., Lynn Haven, Fla., died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001, at her residence. Mrs.Fuller was born in Atlanta, Ga., and moved to Panama City 17 years ago. She was a retired laboratory technician for Fritio-Lay Inc., was Baptist by faith and was a member of the Widows support group of Panama City. Mrs. Fuller was preceded in death by her husband, Homer "Alton" Fuller. She is survived by one son, Ernie Fuller and wife, Carolyn, of Marietta,Ga.; one daughter, Pat Wells and husband, Larry, of Atlanta and Lynn Haven; one brother, Roy Davis of Lawrenceville, Ga.; one sister, Louise Lunsford of Cummings, Ga.; and two granchildren, Michael Fuller and Elizabeth Fuller Abrue. Memorial services for Mrs. Fuller will be held 10 a.m. today, Dec. 21 at the Southerland Family Funeral Home Lynn Haven Chapel.

Mr. Willie C. Sims Sr., 75, was born Dec. 11, 1926, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Emma Sims in Quincy, Fla. He was a longtime resident of Panama City. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a private and received an honorable discharge. He leaves a loving family, Mrs. Eunice Sims Weaver of Panama City; eight sons, Herbert Bryant, Willie C. Sims Jr., Billie Sims, Larry Sessions, and the Rev. Ozzie (Selitha) Sessions of Panama City, J.L. Sadler of Louisiana, the Rev. James (Mary) Sessions of Orlando; six daughters, Willamena (Archie) Flowers, Mary Sims, both of Bridgeport, Conn., Freddie Mae Sims and Johnny Sims of Bellglade, Fla., Vann Wagner and Yasmine (Eddie) Benton of Panama City, Fla., and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation for Mr. Sims will be held at the mortuary from 3 to 8 p.m. and the family will receive friends at 7 p.m. today, Dec. 21, 2001. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22, at 11 a.m. at the Love Center Baptist Church with the Rev. Rufus L. Wood Jr., pastor, and the eulogy will be given by the Rev. Ozzie Sessions. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.

Mrs. Ruth Spering, 73, of Lynn Haven, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2001, at a local nursing facility. She was born in Plains, Pa. ,and lived in Bay County for 34 years. She was a former registered nurse, working until her retirement at Bay Medical Center. She loved playing bridge, and was a member and past president of the Panama City Bridge Club, and was a lifetime master. Mrs. Spering was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lynn Haven. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Spering and his wife, Betty, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Jerry Spering and his wife, Karen, of Schaumburg, Ill.; a daughter, Jan Pearce and her husband, Bob, of Lynn Haven; five grandchildren, Jerry Spering, Liz Spering, Jennifer Pearce, Matt Spering, and Alex Pearce. Mrs. Spering was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Spering, and her brother, Tom Manning. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, at First Presbyterian Church of Lynn Haven with the Rev. Fred Keith officiating. Mrs. Estell Idelle Gay Temple, 92, of Blountstown, died Thursday in the Calhoun Liberty Hospital in Blountstown. Mrs. Temple was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County, and was a homemaker and a member of Frink Baptist church. Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Temple Hoyt of Panama City Beach; three sons, Lynn Wayne Temple of Panama City, Johnny Temple of Marianna, Kenneth Temple of Blountstown; 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown, with the Rev. John M. Nicols officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Hear Cemetery

Mrs. Lurene Waller Tyre, 84, passed away Friday in Chipley at Northwest Florida Community Hospital. She is survived by two sons; two daughters; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mr. Edward Lee "Eddie-Bo" Williamson, 59, of Panama City, passed away Monday, Dec. 17, 2001. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, he came to Panama City in 1945 and was a commercial fisherman. He is survived by his aunt, Julia Mae Langford, of Panama City; a close friend of many years, Debbie Lawson, of Panama City; and numerous, numerous friends, especially in the fishing industry. Eddie-Bo made many people laugh and always had a hug for everyone. He will be missed by all who knew him. A gathering of friends and memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. today, Dec. 22, at the St. Andrews Marina.

Gilberta C. Wozniak, 79, of Panama City, Fla., died Dec. 8, 2001, in Hinsdale, Ill. She was the beloved wife of the late Chester, mother of Michael (Julia), grandmother of David, Julia and Douglas, sister of Roger (Helen) Van Zandbergen, Richard (Alice) Switzer and the late Evon Hagman. Services and interment were private. She and her late husband were active members of the Foster Children Care Program of Panama City. She was a member of the Newcomers Club and several local bridge groups and a World War II Coast Guard veteran. Lurene Tyre, 84, of the Bonnet Pond Community in Chipley, Fla., passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at Chipley. She was a lifelong resident of Chipley. She was of the Holiness faith and a member of Bonnett Pond Church. She was born March 22, 1917, to the late Jessie J. and Mamie (McFatter) Waller in Chipley. Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 23, 2001, at Bonnett Pond Church with the Rev. Teddy Joe Bias, the Rev. Rick Lovett, the Rev. Corbin Hicks and the Rev. Leon Jenkins officiating. Burial was in the Bonnett Pond Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Tyre, and her parents. Survivors include two Sons, Jesse Tyre and wife, Judy, and Jerry Tyre and wife, Linda; two daughters, Joyce Caylor and husband, Merle, and Janice Gilmore and husband, J.C., all of Bonnett Pond Community. Survivors also include a sister, Carrie Blue of Chipley, and a sister-in-law, Donie Waller, of the Bonnett Pond Community. She was also survived by 11 grandchildren; Charlotte Blackurn, Cherie Hicks, Stephanie Brown, Jessica Rudd, Christopher Tyre, Cindy Spence, Lindy Newcomb, Jed Tyre, Kelly Tyre, Sheppard and Stephen Tyre, Bobby Engelbright; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The love of our life, our beautiful Angel, John Christopher Lee Fenn, born June 1, 2000, went to join the angels in heaven, Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001. He was loved by everyone and brought joy and happiness every day of his life to people who came into contact with him. His mommy and daddy, Leo and Kimberly Fenn, who loved him so much, will miss him. John is survived by his brothers and sisters, Leo Fenn III, of Palm Desert, Ca., David Lee Fenn and Sherlyn Fenn, both of Los Angeles, Ca., Stacey Stewart of Houston, Texas, and Caressa Fenn and Pete Fenn, both of Panama City; his grandparents, Tom Sanders of Boone, N.C., and Judy Honeycutt of Boonville, N.C.; great-grandparents, Tom Andrews of Leesburg, Fla., and Linda Burchette of State Road, N.C.; great-great-grandmother, Clara L. Armstrong of Boonville, N.C.; godmother, Agnes Victor, of Panama City and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. His great-great-grandfather, John Armstrong, preceded him in death. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001, at St. John's Catholic Church, on 11th Street and Fortune Avenue, with the Father Marty Bratek officiating.
