Mr. Farrell Morgan Dillon, 67, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at his home. He had been a resident of the area since 1979, coming here from Tucumcari, N.M. Mr. Dillon served during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era in the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 26 years. He also retired from Lockheed-Martin as an avionics engineer. Mr. Dillon is survived by his wife, Christine Sizemore Dillon, of Panama City, Fla.; children, Gary Dillon of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Timothy Arthur Dixon, Michael Anthony Dixon, and James Walter Powell Jr., all of Panama City; his mother, Roxie Mae Claude of Panama City, Fla.; and grandchildren, Michael, Ian, and Heath Dixon, Courtney Powell, and Nathan Powell, all of Panama City, and Ryan Dixon and Tera Dixon, both of Maryville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Dillon; and a sister, Nancy Dirks. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories with military honors conducted by Tyndall Air Force Base Honor Guard. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are Michael Dixon, Scott Hill, Martel Goodwin, Julian Goodwin and Ken Hall. Honorary pallbearers will include Dr. Bruce Josten and Dr. Bruce Hurst. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Dec. 11, 2001, from 6 until 8 p.m.

"Neal" Dresser, 85, of Panama City, who died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, in a local hospital, will be held today at 10 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Panama City with the Rev. Logan Bradley Ransdell, 15, of Southport, Fla., passed away Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla. Logan played football, soccer, and loved to fish and hunt. He was an all-star baseball player for Southport and loved to ride four-wheelers with his friends. Logan was a member of the Springfield Community Church and attended Mosley High School. He is survived by his mom and dad, Terri and Channing McKenzie of Southport; his father, Brad Ransdell of Lynn Haven, Fla.; two sisters, Stephanie Benoit of Destin, Fla., and Lauren McKenzie of Southport; a brother, Adam Ransdell of Panama City; maternal grandparents, Judy and Clyde Tucker of Southport and Danny and Libby Pippin of Panama City; paternal grandparents, Ruth and Bud Chesnee of Panama City and Joyce Ransdell of Panama City; great-grandparents, Hosie and Allie Vern Floyd of Lynn Haven, Alice Pippin of Southport, and Louise Tucker of Vernon; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Robert Thornton "Bob" Coleman, 53, of a City and was a 1966 graduate of Bay High School. He was the owner of Gulf Brick Works in Panama City. He was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his mother, Camille Coleman, and a sister, Barbara Ann Coleman. He is survived by his father, William F. (Frank) Coleman of Panama City Beach; daughter, Iris Coleman of Panama City; two sons, Frank Coleman of Panama City, Casey Coleman of Janesville, Wis.; the children's mother, Sher Coleman, also of Janesville, Wis.; two sisters, Elsa Blades and her husband, Lt. Gen. Art Blades, of Dumfries, Va., Julie Abernathy and her husband, Guy, of Atlanta, Ga.; brother, Bill Coleman and his wife, Kathy, of Panama City; aunt, Martha White of Panama City; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosemarie Florentine, 64, of Harrison, Maine, and Panama City Beach, Fla., passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at her home in Maine. She was born in Astoria, N.Y., on Aug. 6, 1937, the daughter of John and Agnes Massari Ladagana. Mrs. Florentine graduated from Bay Shore High School, Long Island, N.Y., and St. Joseph School of Nursing in Nashua, N.H. She married John A. Florentine July 11, 1959, and had been a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed collecting shells on the beaches in Florida. Mrs. Florentine is survived by her husband, John A. Florentine, of Harrison, Maine, and Panama City Beach; three sons, John Florentine Sr., of Wilton, N.H., Robert Florentine, of Panama City Beach and Lawrence Florentine, of Gainesville, Ga.; two daughters, Lillian Mary Vozzolo, of Winsor Locks, Conn., and Rose DiPasquali of Canton, Ga.; two brothers, James Lang, of Bay Shore, Long Island, N.Y., and Lester Lang, of San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Agnes Brooks of Louisville, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church with Father David O'Shea officiating. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories. Richard William Kiah, 59, of Port Orange, Fla., died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, at his home. He was born Dec. 11, 1942, in Ogdensburg, N.Y. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired security guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard C. and Goldie Kiah; two brothers, Ronnie Kiah and Robert Kiah; and a sister, Betty Anable. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Kiah, of Port Orange, Fla.; three children, Connie Evans and her husband, Dennis, of Panama City, Fla., Joseph Kiah and his wife, Melinda, of Borden, Ontario, Canada, Ronald Kiah of Jacksonville, N.C.; five grandchildren, Matthew Kiah, Josh Kiah, Emily Kiah, Chelsea Kiah, A.J. Kiah; and three sisters, Barbara Ramie and her husband, Richard, of Lynn Haven, Fla.; Brenda Luther and her husband, James, of Palm Coast, Fla.; and Kathy Taylor of Ogdensburg, N.Y.
