Ms. Charlotte Burch Anderson, 37, of Callaway, Fla., died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, in a local hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Panama City. Ms. Anderson is survived by her mother, Jannelle Burch; fiance, Steven Winpigler; two daughters, Kayla Anderson and Tara Daneau; step-daughter, Sabrina Anderson; one brother, Bill Burch, all of Panama City. Her father, Billy Don Burch; a sister, Diane Sissom and a brother, Paul Daneau precede her in death. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

Dallas M. Anderson, 46, of Chipley, Fla., passed from this life on Wednesday, June 13, 2001, in Dothan, Ala. He was a lifelong resident of Chipley, Fla., and was of the Free Will Baptist faith and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Chipley. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge No. 130, Chipley Kiwanis Club and the Law Enforcement Task Force. Survivors are his wife, Becky Anderson, Chipley; mother, Ruth Anderson Carr, Bonifay; two daughters, Teresa and husband Eric Brown, Chipley; Angie and husband Phil Martin, McDonough, Ga.; four brothers: J.D. Anderson, Washington State; Wesley Anderson, Lubbock, Texas; Tom Anderson, Detroit, Mich; Johnny Anderson, Chipley; three sisters: Shelby Haddock, Chipley; Betty Eberly, Pensacola; Patricia Brown, Bonifay; two grandchildren, Ryan and Jordan Brown, Chipley. Leo Baer, 94, of Panama City, died Thursday, June 14, 2001, in a local nursing home. He was a retired boat carpenter. He had been a resident of Panama City since 1985 moving here from Fort Walton Beach, Fla. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Baer; daughter, Joan Tuzinkiewicz and her husband, Alfonso; grandson, George Tuzinkiewicz; granddaughter, Linda Riggins, and a great-granddaughter, Victoria Tuzinkiewicz. Mr. Walter H. "Buddy" Boutwell, age 61, of 201 W. 17th St., Lynn Haven, Fla., died Thursday, June 14, 2001, at a local hospital. He had been a resident of the area since 1984, coming here from Phenix City, Ala. Mr. Boutwell was self-employed as a contractor and a car dealer, and was Baptist by faith. He was also a member of the American Legion of Lynn Haven. Mr. Boutwell is survived by his wife, Barbara Boutwell of Lynn Haven; a daughter, Kaisey Boutwell of Lynn Haven; two sons, Cole Boutwell of Lynn Haven and Rudy Boutwell of Phenix City; two grandsons, Andrew Boutwell and Arye Boutwell; and a sister, Annette Jones of Columbus, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 16, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Keith officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Genell Simmonds Dasinger, age 85, of Jacksonville, Ala., passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2001. Mrs. Dasinger was a resident of Jacksonville since 1994 and resided at The Meadows. She was a former resident of Panama City, Fla., New Brockton, Ala., and Pensacola. She was a director of housing and was a newspaper editor at NAAS Whiting Field in Milton, Fla., and she was a technical writer. Graveside services will be held Sunday, June 17, at 3:30 p.m. in New Brockton City Cememtery in New Brockton, Ala. Mrs. Dasinger was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Alvin Dasinger. Survivors include three sons: Roger Alvin Dasinger of Ebro, Dr. Norman Roy Dasinger and his wife Sharon of Jacksonville, Ala., Rodney Lewis Dasinger and his wife Laurie of Panama City; two sisters, Leeneaun Jones of Keokuk, Iowa, and Endemile Plant of Wyandotte, Okla.; seven grandchildren: Nena Dasinger, Norman Dasinger Jr., Rama Genell Dasinger, Dr. Adam Dasinger, Morgan Dasinger, Christie Dasinger-Knowles, Gabriel Dasinger; six great-grandchildren; special nephews, Harold E. Mr. Herbert C. Dean, age 86, of Panama City, Fla., died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at a local hospital. He had been a resident of the area since 1957, coming here from Chattahoochee, Fla. He was also a resident of St. Andrew Health and Rehabilitation. Mr. Dean was an electrician for the I.B.E.W. Union and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his son, James C. Dean and his wife Fleta of Panama City; a daughter, Bettie Bailey and her husband Donald of Eustis, Fla.; a sister, Melissa Maxwell of Cairo, Ga.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Irene M. Dean. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, June 15, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bob Lucas Jr. officiating. Interment will follow. George Washington Edwards, born on July 4, 1921, died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at his home. He is finally at peace. He labored long and hard these last six years since his wife, Elizabeth, died in 1995. He was above all a real trooper. A MSgt. with 22 years in the US Army, four years in the Pacific in World War II and two years during the Korean Conflict. He survived two wars without a broken bone only to have old age finally bring him down. He was always civil, polite and caring. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, George and Debbie Edwards; daughter and son-in-law, Georgette and Jim Beller; his only grandchild, Cybil Elizabeth Askew; his brother, Wilmont Pete Edwards; his sister, Helen Hinson, and "Snoopy" his beloved canine companion. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16, at 2 p.m. in St. Thomas by the Sea Church with the Rev. Chuck Floyd officiating. Mrs. Frances Goodman, age 86, of Panama City Beach, Fla., passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a native of New Jersey and had lived in Panama City Beach for fourteen years. Mrs. Goodman was the manager of Anchor Self-Storage Units on Back Beach Rd. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harold Goodman of Panama City Beach; two sons, Alan Robert Goodman and his wife Betty-Jo of Saugus, Calif., and Stuart N. Goodman of Panama City; a sister, Lillian Wolf of Bayonne, N.J.; a brother, Solly Mendell of New Jersey; and three grandchildren: Jennifer, Melissa, and Michael. Mrs. Betty Guynn, age 68, of 425 N. Comet Ave., Panama City, Fla. died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, in Mississippi as the result of an automobile accident. She had been a resident of the area since 1957, coming here from Olmstead AFB, Pa. Mrs. Guynn was the former owner of Friendly Florist in Cedar Grove. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was devoted to her family. Mrs. Guynn is survived by her husband, Jerry Guynn of Panama City; five sons: Ronald Guynn of Andersonville, Ga., Aubrey Guynn of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kenneth Guynn of Mobile, Ala., Steve Guynn of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Danny Guynn of Atlanta; two brothers, Douglas Strickland of Tyler, Texas, and David Strickland of Shreveport, La.; four sisters: Jackie Starr of Shreveport, La., Elma Grace Burns of Orem, Utah, Gladys Lewellen of Augusta, Ga., and Ada Nelson of Boise, Idao; sixteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
