MARGARET HATCHER
Mrs. Margaret Hatcher, age 72, of 5146 Kaitlin Trail, Chipley, Fla., died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000, at her home. She had been a resident of the area since 1958, coming from Washington, Pa. Mrs. Hatcher worked for Southern Bell for 34 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven, Fla. She was also a former member of Eastern Star and the Pioneers. Mrs. Hatcher is survived by a daughter, Ruth Buchanan of Chipley; three sons, Herschel Hatcher and his wife Joann of the Middle East, Alto Von Hatcher and his wife Mary of Atlanta, Ga., and Leslie DeVon Hatcher of Atlanta; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alto N. Hatcher; and two grandsons, Adam Buchanan and Brian Buchanan. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron L'Huillier officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Nov. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m.

HENRY S. INABNIT JR.
Henry S. Inabnit Jr., age 69, of Trussville, Ala., died Nov. 25, 2000. He was the son of the late Rev. and Mrs. H.S. Inabnit of Gadsden, Ala. Mr. Inabnit was a U.S. Navy Veteran of The Korean War, having served in Asia, the South Pacific and the Orient. He was a deacon of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, an employee of Southern Banknote and the owner of Inabnit Print Shop. Mr. Inabnit is survived by his wife, Gail Bradford Inabnit; three daughters, three sons-in-law and nine grandchildren: Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Helton (Pam), Ashley and Alyson; Mr. and Mrs. Kent Brooks (Jan), Jordan, Colton, Austin and Molly Morgan; Mr. and Mrs. Chris Lynch (Robbie), Kaylan, Kelsey and Cameron; three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Koesy (Mary Jane) of Panama City, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hale (Betty) of Mobile, Ala., Mr. and Mrs. Billy McDill (Doris) of Panama City; two brothers-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bradford of Gadsden, Mr. and Mrs. Don Bradford of Gadsden and fifteen nieces and nephews; three aunts, Mrs. Frank Castor of Tampa, Mrs. Margaret Brown and Mrs. Nona Loconto of Gadsden. Presiding clergy, Dr. Phil Jones. Funeral services will be held today, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. Pallbearers are, Jimmy Abel, Don Bradford, Dana Loconto, Chris Bradford, Randy Bradford and Monroe Pat Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Deacons of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

BETTY LOU OWENS PAUL
Mrs. Betty Lou Owens Paul, 61, of Greenhead, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at her home. Mrs. Paul was born in Bristol and was a homemaker. She was predeceased by a son, Richard Allen Weathers. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Gene Weathers and Michelle Weathers of Panama City; one daughter, Debora Lou Weathers of Greenhead; four grandchildren, Heather Weathers, Brandy Hodge and Husband Darrell Hodge, Amber Gray and Alexis Weathers; two great-grandchildren, Austin Teague and Taya Ann Hodge; one sister, Lavada O'Bryan of Panama City and family. She was predeceased by a brother, Edgear Owens. She was a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a very special lady who was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Funeral services were held Saturday at 3 p.m. EST at the Bristol Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Margaret Whitehead officiating. Interment followed in Lake Mystic Cemetery. ARTHER MAE PRUITT
Mrs. Arther Mae Pruitt, 73, of 221 Transmitter Road, died Wednesday Nov. 22, 2000, in a local nursing center. Funeral services for Mrs. Pruitt will be held today, Nov. 28, 2000, at 11 a.m. in Free Spirit Community Church with the Rev. James Kelly, pastor; Supt. John M. Gipson and the Rev. James Pruitt, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. The family will receive friends at the home of Supt. and Mrs. John and Doris Gipson, 101 Laramie Circle.

EDWARD ALSEY ROWLAND
Mr. Edward Alsey Rowland, 70, of 1610 Ohio Ave., Lynn Haven, died Saturday evening, Nov. 25, 2000, in a local hospital. He moved here in 1974 from Indiana . Mr. Rowland was a retired janitor with Bay County School Board and was a Protestant by faith. Funeral services for Mr. Rowland will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. in Southerland Family Funeral Home Chapel in Lynn Haven.

OTIS CHESTER WILLIAMS
Mr. Otis Chester Williams, 61, of 1433 Washington Drive, Panama City, passed away Nov. 20, 2000, in a local hospital. Born in Panama City, he had been a resident of this area for about 50 years. He attended the public schools of Bay County. He was predeceased by a son, Elex Williams. Survivors mclude two daughters, Alice Fay Williams and Paulette Williams of Panama City; two sons, Andy Ray Williams of Caryville and Detrich Williams of Panama City; six grandchildren, Artiva, Henry, Giovanna, Ray, Jaquez, and Tambria; a sister, Pauline Thomas of Franklin, La.; a nephew, John Williams and his wife Carrie of Rochester, N.Y.; a niece, Dorothy Wofford of Pensacola; and several other nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Williams will be held Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m. in St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. Woodrow Wilson, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral. The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter Alice Faye Williams, 225-S Highway 22-A.

BEATRICE 'BEA' ANGELINE WILLIS WILLIAMS
Beatrice (Bea) Angeline Willis Williams died Nov. 26, 2000 at a local hospital. She was the daughter of Lucinda Angeline Lewis Willis and Joseph Edward Willis of Early County, Ga. Until her retirement in 1980 from Dr. Malcolm M. Traxler's office where she was employed for 15 years she was active in church and civic affairs. She was a member of First Baptist Church and for many years sang in the adult choir, taught Sunday school and training union classes, and was a member of W.M.U. She was a charter member of the LLL Sunday School class taught by Earl Bailey. She was a 50-year member of Woman's Club of Panama City and a 50- year member of Order of Eastern Star 102 and a charter member of the Little Theater of Panama City. During her tenure as president of Panama Grammar School PTA, she was also a member of the State Board of Health and was instrumental in securing the Bay County Health Center. During World War II she served in Naval intelligence, Eighth Naval District, for three years, receiving the highest (excellent) rating of the entire district and was recommended for the "Meritorious Service Award." For 13 years she worked as a teller at Commercial Bank. She attended the University of Geogia, the University of Florida and Gulf Coast Community College. A native of Blakey, Ga., she moved to Panama City after her marriage to Sam A. Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Angeline Williams Cook; and her husband, Bill W. Cook of Panama City; one granddaughter, Susan Cook Belcher and her husband, Jack of Wewa, Fla.; one grandson, William Lewis Cook III and wife, Celeste of Panama City; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; one sister, Mrs Jessica (Jet) Gainer of Covington, Ga. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Five sisters predeceased her: Claudelle Willis Harrison, Mattie Lou W. Bridges, Ella Mae W. Bridges, Sue W. Hocking, Loyce W. Craft; and one grandson, Sam Cook. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel the Rev. Bruce Raley officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be members of LLL Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church, the Education Dept. of the Womans Club and member of the Eastern Star Chapter 102. Those desiring, may contribute to missions through First Baptist Church of Panama City in memory of Beatrice Willis Williams. The family will receive friends after the smemorial service.

JOSEPH A. BOGART
Joseph A. Bogart, Maj. USAF Retired, died on Thursday, Nov.23, 2000, at Gulf Coast Medical Center. He celebrated his 66th birthday in October. He was born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. and had been a resident of Panama City since 1981. He served in the USMC, in Marine Recon, and in the USAF NC as an nurse anesthetist, retiring in 1979. Among his many assignments, he served one year as an anesthetist at Cam Rahn Bay, Republic of Vietnam. Before retiring from practicing anesthesia, he was employed with the North Florida Anesthesia Group at Gulf Coast Medical Center. He is survived by his wife Maria of Panama City; daughters, Kathleen Mary, a police officer in Lake Worth, Fla., and Cecelia, a sales representative for Universal Studios in Ft. Lauderdale; a brother, Michael and his wife Arlene reside in Pouqhquaq, N.Y. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marine Corp. Toys for Tots in his name.

RUFUS LEE BROXTON
Mrs. Rufus Lee Broxton, 82, of 715 E. 12 St., died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, in a local nursing home. She was born June 22, 1918 to Rufus Corbin and Donella Wright Corbin. She was retired from Bay Medical Center. She was a faithful member of Greater Bethel AME Church for many years. She leaves to cherish her memories, two loving daughters, Brenda Broxton of Gainesville, Fla. and Ruby Binn of Panama City; two sisters, Margaret Alexander and Thelma Herbert; two brothers, Andrew and James Corbin; granddaughter, Raquel Broxton; great-grand-daughter, Chaunice Crawford; daughter-in-law, Irene Broxton; a loving niece, Geraldine Broxton-Gainer; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000 at 11 a.m. at Greater Bethel AME Church with the Rev O.C. Williams officiating with the assistant of the Rev. Kimberly Corbin of Jacksonville, Fla. and Pastor Grant Smith of Gainesville . The body will lie in state one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Visitation hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today. The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

FALMER FOREHAND
Mr. Falmer Forehand, 75, passed away Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, in Wewahitchka. He served in the Navy during World War II, had been a long time resident of Wewahitchka and worked as a boilermaker. He retired from the Boilermakers in 1987 and enjoyed working with his bees. He is survived by Onita Forehand; three children, Earl Forehand and wife Priscilla; Evelyn Youngs and husband Clayton; and Deborah Hanna; four grandsons, Shane Semmes, Michael Youngs, Jason Ward, and Kelly Forehand; two great-grandchildren, Mindy Green and Rhett Youngs, all of Wewahitchka; one brother, Burlie Forehand; and two sisters, Docia Courtney and Beatrice Weathermon, all of Panama City. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. CST Thursday at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, conducted by Bro. Dallas Presley. Interment will follow in the family plot in Roberts Cemetery. A Boilermaker Ritual will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at the church, and following that he will lie in state from 7 to 9 p.m.
