VERA MAE RUSSELL
Ms. Vera Mae Russell, 75, of Graceville, Fla., died Monday night, Oct. 30, 2000, in Campbellton-Graceville Hospital following an extended illness. She was a native of Houston County, Ala., but had lived in Graceville most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of New Easter Missionary Baptist Church in Graceville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. at New Easter Missionary Baptist Church in Graceville with the Rev. Price Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Graceville Community Cemetery with Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville directing. She is survived by three daughters, Annie M. Montgomery, Bessie Gainer, both of Graceville, and Mattie Benjamin of Chipley, Fla.; one son, Samuel Russel Jr. of Graceville; one sister, Beatrice Mims of Panama City; two brothers, Willie Frank White of Panama City and Benjamin White of Indiana ; also nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Nov. 3, from 6 to 7 p.m.

LLOYD H. STUBBS
Lloyd H. Stubbs, 70, of 923 East Ave., Panama City, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, in a local hospital. He had been a lifelong resident of Bay County. He was preceded in death by a son, Loren Stubbs; and a sister, Glennise LeSech. Mr. Stubbs is survived by his wife, Miyo Stubbs; daughter, Mary McQuagge and her husband, Steve, all of Panama City; three grandchildren, Stephanie McQuagge Wheat and her husband, John, Kelly McQuagge, Tiffany McQuagge; four brothers, H.L. Stubbs and his wife, Marie, Otis Stubbs and his wife, Bunny, Claude Stubbs and his wife, Juanita, Kenneth Stubbs and his wife, Carlene; four sisters, Elwin Thompson and her husband, Shelton, Esther Taylor and her husband, Harold, Mary Starling and her husband, Lattie, Gwen Smith; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

ROBERT FLOYD BREEDON
Funeral services for Robert Floyd Breedon, 79, formerly of 1511 St. Andrew Blvd, who died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, in a local nursing home will be held today at 2 p.m. in Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Dennis Dilley and the Rev. Les Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery with masonic rites conducted at the graveside. Those desiring to may make a contribution to Hospice of Northwest Florida in memory of Robert Floyd Breedon. The masonic lodge will open one hour prior to the service.

OZELLE MATHEWS CROWE
Mrs. Ozelle Mathews Crowe, 87, of Hendersonville, N.C., formerly of Panama City went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City and the LLL Sunday School Class for 23 years before moving to Hendersonville. Last month, Mrs. Crowe was thrilled with the mountain's autumn beauty, but now she walks in the gloria wonders of the Garden of Paradise in heaven. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Crowe. Mrs. Crowe leaves behind her only child, Julia Crowe of Hendersonville, N.C., who awaits the day she can join her parents in their joy. Mrs. Crowe will be buried beside her husband in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Florida Baptist Childrens Home, in memory of Mrs. Crowe.

LYNDALE KATHERINE KOB
Lyndale Katherine Kob, 38, of 801 Kay Lane, Lynn Haven, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, as a result of an accident. She was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corp retiring in 1991 after 12 years of service. She was currently attending Gulf Coast Community College and Florida State University earning a communications degree. She had been a resident of Lynn Haven for the past four years moving here from Hawaii. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Kob; two sons, Christopher Kob, John Kob, all of Lynn Haven; father, Dale Longwith and his wife, Lottie of Kingsman, Ariz.; mother, Marilyn Tull and her husband, Stan, of Coos Bay, Ore.; brother, Thomas Longwith of Palmdale, Calif., Tamara Longwith, of Mission Hills, Calif. Memorial services for anyone wishing to attend will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. in Family's Home in Lynn Haven with the Rev. Bruce Raley officiating. Those desiring to may make a contribution to a trust fund established for her sons, c/o Peoples First, account No. 3228350 in memory of Lyndale Katherine Kob.

MANUEL MYERS
Mr. Manuel Myers, 98, of 124 Racetrack Rd., Wewahitchka, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, in Bay Medical Center. He was born and raised in Wewahitchka, Fla. He moved to Detroit as a young man and there he met and married Mattie. To that union two children were born. He accepted the Lord and became a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Leon Jones. He leaves to cherish his memories two children, Emanuel Myers and Gwen Myers, both of Detroit, Mich.; five nieces: Viella Rouse of Wewahitchka, Pattie Faision (Henry, Florence Myers, both of Panama City, Helen Scott, Francis Hill (Earnest) of West Palm; four nephews: Roy Myers (Marvel), James Myers (Pinkie), Robert Myers (Lottie) all of Wewahitchka, the Rev. Patrick Bowers (Beulah) of Panama City and a host of great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Myers will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, at 12 noon in New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Jones, officiating. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Cemetery. Public visitation will begin this afternoon from 1 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The remains will lie in state two hours prior to services at the church. The family will receive friends at 124 Racetrack Rd. in Wewahitchka.

ALLEN NELSON
Mr. Allen Nelson, age 51, of 17729 Center Dr., Fountain, Fla., died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at a local hospital. He had been a resident of the area since June, 1956, coming here from Washington Co., Fla., and was Baptist by faith. Mr. Nelson was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoors man. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Nelson of Springfield; three daughters: Tonya Wilson of Cocoa, Fla., Amy Putnam of Fountain, Fla., and Stephanie Nelson of Springfield, Fla.; two sons,Donnie Nelson of Fountain and Allen Nelson of Springfield; two brothers, Buddy Nelson of Lucas Lake, Fla., and Pee Wee Nelson of Millville, Fla.; seven sisters: Elnora Russo of Lucas Lake, Fla., Dora Mae Jackson of Union, Mo., Susan Lavon Fontaine of Sunnyhills, Fla., Lorene Sanders of Lucedale, Miss., Nora Lee Griffin of Callaway, Bobbie Jean Sanders of Pace, Fla., and Patricia Ann Brogdon of Springfield; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Brogdon officiating. Interment will follow at Double Pond Cemetery in Wausau, Fla. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Johnny Finch, Wilmer Taylor, Tracy Sanders, Barry Nelson, Buddy Nelson Jr., and Anthony Brogdon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Nov. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. The family will be staying at the home of Mr. Nelson's sister, Nora Griffin, 103 N. Larry Dr., Callaway, FL.

Funeral services for Mr. Londell "Daddy Russ" Russ, 64, of Panama City, Fla., will be conducted today, Nov. 3, 2000, at 2 p.m., in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Phil Edwards, Pastor Hilton Foster and Bro. T.A. Green officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The following gentlemen will serve as active pallbearers: James Lee, Gerald Worley, Keith David, Kurt Davis, Hurtis Hicks and Lamar Melvin. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Russ' nephews: Steve, Mike and Clint Russ.

Mrs. Dorethy M. Yates, 80, previously of Panama City, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, in Jacksonville, Fla. Born in Indiana , she moved here in 1972 from Indiana . She worked as a solderer for Naval Avionics in Indianapolis, Ind., and attended Forest Park Methodist Church. She was also a member of the N.A.R.F., the Order of the Eastern Star and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Her husband, Cecil Fred Yates precedes her in death. Mrs. Yates is survived by one daughter, Barbara Fettinger and husband Jerry of St. Mary's, Ga.; two sisters, Charlene May and Carolyn Guillaume both of Indiana ; two grandchildren, Steve and Marjorie Fettinger, Jay and Tracy Fettinger all of St. Mary's, Ga.; two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Logan and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 10 a.m. in Southerland Family Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
