William Clark Kittrell, 49, of Panama City Beach, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, in a local hospital. He was a self-employed maintenance man. He was a lifelong resident of Panama City and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by a daughter, Peggy Kittrell of Youngstown; granddaughter, Cathy Kittrell; four brothers: John C. Newsome and his wife, Louise, of Panama City, Ronald O. Newsome and his wife, Judy, of Pensacola, Robert Meadows and his wife, Joan, of Melbourne, James Meadows and his wife, Linda, of Sulphur, La.; two sisters, Willa Sausman and her husband, Phil, of Chipley, Mary Dell DelTofo of Holbrook, Mass.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Si Mathison officiating. Mr. Carl Eugene Raffield Sr., 62, of 110 21st Place, Port St. Joe, Fla., died Wednesday, June 14, 2000, at his home. He was a lifelong resident of this area and was the owner and operator of Raffield Fisheries. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Port St. Joe and was a member of Gulf County School Board for 24 years. Mr. Raffield is survived by his parents, Carl Jackson and Evelyn Raffield; his wife, Emogene Wood Raffield; two sons, Carl Eugene Raffield Jr. and wife Margie, Randy Raffield and wife Sonjia all of Port St. Joe; one daughter, Connie Raffield Worrill and husband Fred of Crawfordville, Fla.; three brothers, Harold Raffield and wife Sandra of St. Joe Beach, Fla., Ronnie Raffield and wife Peggy, Danny Raffield and wife JoAnn; mother-in-law, Edna Wood all of Port St. Joe, Fla.; six grandchildren, Jennifer Raffield, Chase Worrill, Sawyer Raffield, Cody Worrill, Clay Raffield and Spencer Raffield; numerous nieces and nephews. NELLIE ANN STILLER
Ms. Nellie Ann Stiller, age 94, died Wednesday, June 14, 2000, in Port St. Joe, Fla. Ms. Stiller was born June 8, 1906, in Walton County, Fla. She was the daughter of the late John A. and Sarah McDonald Chamberlain. She lived in Port St. Joe for the last five years after moving from Red Bay, Fla. She was a Presbyterian by faith and a member of Red Bay Presbyterian Church where she became a member July 25, 1922. She really enjoyed fishing and hunting. She was known for squirrel hunting and fishing. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayland M. Stiller and her daughter, Cozette Cannon. Ms. Stiller is survived by two daughters, Lunette S. Etheridge and her husband, Harold of Wewahitchka and Johnnie N. Ray and her husband, Walter of Red Bay; five grandchildren: Rusty Cannon of Blountstown, Connie Yohn of Panama City, Stephen Etheridge of Panama City, DeWayne Ray of Gulf Breeze and Dennis Ray of Niceville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17, at Red Bay Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Tom Tidwell. Burial will follow in Red Bay Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, June 17, at Red Bay Presbyterian Church. Ms. Stiller's grandchildren will be serving as pallbearers.

WILLIAM H. TEMPEL
William H. Tempel of Livingston Manor, N.Y., a retired union carpenter, and with his wife, owned and operated the Lake View Hotel in Shandelee, N.Y., for twenty years, died Sunday, June 11, 2000, at Walnut Mountain Care Center, Liberty N.Y. He was 88 years of age, being born March 9, 1912, in Livingston Manor. He was a decorated World War II U.S. Army Veteran member, Carpenters Union Local No. 19 member, usher of St. Aloysius Church, a member of Holy Name Society of the Church, member and past president of Shandelee Hunting Club, former member of Livingston Manor Rotary Club, member of Livingston Manor Senior Citizens Club and Lester White American Legion Post No. 566. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Foote Tempel at home; two sons and their wives, Gary and Rose Tempel of Panama City, and Daniel and Elinor Tempel of North Pole, Alaska; three grandchildren: Jessica Davison of North Pole, Heath Tempel of Valdosta, Ga., and Sonja Tempel of Panama City; one great-grandson. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 14, at St. Aloysius church. Interment followed at Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, N.Y., with military honors. Ron Clark, 40, of Panama City, died Thursday evening, June 15, 2000, at his home. Ron was a loving son, brother and friend who will be missed by all. Ron was a native of Birmingham, Ala. and had lived in the Panama City area since 1983, where he was employed as a chef by several local restaurants. Ron is survived by his parents, Don and Edna Clark, Panama City; a brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Sandy Clark, Birmingham, Ala.; a sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Ernie Adams, Fountain, Fla.; his grandparents, Elizabeth Van Cleve, Taft, Tenn., Lou Dean Vance, Birmingham, Ala., and Granny Clark, Fairhope, Ala.; an uncle, Roger Dale Vance, Birmingham; three nieces: Kaylee Clark, Amanda Adams and Kristy Adams.
