Funeral services for Donna Bragg, 42, of 2506 Clemson Drive in Panama City, who passed away Friday, May 12, 2000, at the home of her parents on Panama City Beach after a long fight with lung cancer, will be held today at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Shoots and his staff officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, that donations in Donna's name should be made to Hospice of Northwest Florida, who were so comforting in her passing.

Mrs. Edith Lee Monk Buchanan, 91, of West Bay, died Saturday, May 13, 2000, in a local nursing home. Born in Holmes County and a resident of Bay County most of her life, she was married to Bonnie V. Buchanan in 1924. They owned and operated a grocery store and the West Bay Post Office. She was a member of the West Bay Advent Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bonnie V. Buchanan; an infant child; son, Bronzell Buchanan; daughter, Lavenia B. Mr. C. T. "Runt" Johnson, 75, of 4108 W. 17th St., in Panama City, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at the Glen Cove Nursing Facility. Mr. Johnson was born in Wing, Ala., but spent his childhood in Altha, Fla. He lived in Panama City for 40 years, and was the owner and operator of the St. Andrew Gulf Service Station for 25 years. He was of the Holiness faith. Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Mrs. Barbara Johnson of Panama City; two sons, Sammy Joe Johnson and Tim Wilson; two daughters, Judy Lynn Hicks and Sharon Elaine Manley; sister, Myrtle Smith; two brothers, Theo and Cecil Johnson; and six grandchildren. He also leaves his extended family, James and Ruth Pate, Thad and Mittie Ruth Pate, Choyce and Vera Pate, Christine and Bill McDaniel and Viola Cain. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Kent-Forest Lawn Chapel with the Rev. James Brogdon officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. John Phillip Wayne, age 70, of 2300 Sherman Ave., Panama City, Fla., died Sunday, May 14, 2000, at his home. He had been a resident of the area since 1989, moving here from New Jersey. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and a fomer member of the Knights of Columbus. He was Catholic by faith, loved classical music, and was an avid reader. He is survived by his wife, Martha Wayne of Panama City; eight daughters: Margaret Wayne of Huntington, Conn., Kathleen Selbe and her husband Ronald of Lynn Haven, Donna Wayne of Canton, Conn., Susan Gehrken and her husband Kenneth of Lynn Haven, Patricia Chesonis and her husband John of Oak Ridge, N.J., Maureen Jacobsen and her husband Michael of Ft. Worth, Texas, Debra Wayne of Panama City, and Lorraine Morici and her husband Martin of Lincoln Park, N.J.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ruth Anderson, age 65, of 905 W. 26th St., Lynn Haven, Fla., died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at the home of her daughter. She had been a resident of the area for 20 years, coming here from Steubenville, Ohio. Mrs. Anderson attended Springfield Community Church and loved to play bingo. She loved her great-grandchildren, her life was centered around them. Mrs. Anderson is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Sauls and her husband John of Wilmington, N.C., and Sherri L. CATHERINE M. BUTLER
Catherine M. Butler, of Panama City, Fla., died Friday, May 12, 2000, at her home. Born in Humboldt, Iowa on Nov. 27, 1921, daughter of William and Helen Hastings. She had been a resident of Panama City since 1968. Mrs. Butler lived her early years on farms in Iowa, then attended college to become a registered nurse. Joining the U.S. Army Air Corps as a nurse in March, 1944, she served until Nov. 1946 when she married lst Lt.. Ralph Butler at Keesler AFB, Miss. The family traveled to England, Louisiana, Bermuda, Idaho, Nebraska, Italy, and Tyndall AFB, Fla. Mrs. Butler was a Lady Grand Commander with Star of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. Mr. and Mrs. Butler were awarded the Jubilee Medal of the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee from St. Dominic Catholic Church on the 20th anniversary of the diocese. Mrs. Butler is survived by her children: Joan Oldham and her husband Robert of Annapolis, Md., Col. Gerald Butler and his wife Janet of Warner Robins AFB, Ga., Mary Kay Swanberg of Sacramento, Calif., Margaret Neubauer and her husband Thomas of Panama City, Stephen Butler and his wife Trisha of Panama City, and Gini Giddiens and her husband C.J. of Panama City; two sisters, Jean Hudson of Seattle, Wash., and Lois Nelson and her husband Frank of Otho, Iowa; one brother, William Hastings and his wife Loretta of Seattle, Wash.; 14 grandchildren, Robert, William and Mathew Oldham, Cheryl Burcham, Shelly Cross, Jill Long, Katie and Kelly Swanberg, Brian, Alan and Lori Neubauer, Christina Butler, and Rhianne and Erin Giddiens; three great-grandchildren: Rachael Cross, Jacob and Allison Long; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
