Cain, John Paul
John Paul Cain, 68, of Camden passed away Thursday, Nov., 26, 2009 in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford.
He was born on May 18, 1941 in Bound Brook, NJ, son of the late Theodore and Edwina McClaskey Cain.
John had worked as a mechanic.
He was a member of the Mahwah Fire Dept during the 1970's and also the New Jersey State Fire Chief's Association.
John enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years Barbara Cain, five children Francine Cain of SC, Tim Cain of Orlando, FL, Steven Cain of Springfield, MO, Lawrence Cain of Richmond, VA and Maura Cain of FL, seven grandchildren Angie Cain, Kayla Cain, Bailey Cain, Morgan Cain, Addison Cain, Hayley Brown and Coleman Brown, two brothers Michael Cain of Washington Twp, NJ and Ted Cain of Charleston, SC,
A memorial service will be 3:00 pm Sat., Dec. 5 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather from 3-5 pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
Cahall, Aiden Glen
Aiden Glen Cahall, age 11 months, of Dover, went to be with the Angels on Thursday April 10, 2008 after a long battle with cancer.
He was born April 20, 2007 in Dover, the son of Glen J. Cahall and Andrea Hutchison.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Christian Cahall, of Dover; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Betty Humphries, of Dover; maternal grandparents, Irving and Carole Hutchison III, of Smyrna; maternal great-grandfather, Irving Hutchison II, of Smyrna; and his Godmother, Penny LeShock.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of Aiden's caregivers at A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children, especially the staff of 3A BBMT and PICU, the Hematology and Oncology departments, Dr. Benjamin Warf, Holly Miller and Becka Weiman of the PT department, and social workers Dora Temple and Dale Perkle.
Services will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday April 15 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 11:00 AM.
Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.

Caine Sr., James B.
OCEAN CITY -- James "Jim" B. Caine Sr., 83, of Ocean City died Thursday, July 6, 2006, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin.
Born in Wilmington, he was the son of the late Grover Cleveland Caine and Helen Elizabeth Bradley Caine.
He was a graduate of Delaware City High School, Washington College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and the University of Chicago with a Master of Business Administration degree in accounting. He was a Realtor and developer and was responsible for developing north Ocean City. Some of his developments include Caine Keys I, Caine Keys II, Caine Keys II Extended, Caine Harbor Mile, Montego Bay, Caine Woods, and numerous other building projects in the '60s, '70s and '80s.
He was also a third-degree black belt in Isshinryu karate.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Caine of Ocean City; a son, James B. "Jamie" Caine Jr. of Ocean City; a daughter, Bradley Ann Caine of Smyrna; and two grandsons, James Caine Sheppard and Nicholas James Caine.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville, where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Olin Shockley will officiate. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Berlin.

Cabaud, Esther D.
Esther D. Cabaud, age 91, of Avondale, PA, passed away peacefully at the home she shared with her daughter and son-in-law surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 22, 2008. She grew up in Jamaica, Long Island, and also lived in Rockville Centre, Setauket, Ridge & Shelter Island, all on Long Island, NY, and Green Hill Beach, Rhode Island.
Mrs. Cabaud is survived by her son, Philip G. Cabaud, Jr. & wife, Karen; daughter, Jeanne C. Pousson & husband, Ronald; sister, Dorothy H. Brown & husband, Hector; sister-in-law, Gertrude Cabaud; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Philip G. Cabaud, M.D.; parents, James A. & Ruth I. Deakin; brother, James A Deakin, Jr. & wife, Adele; brother-in-law, Henry E. Cabaud; and sister-in-law, Mary Behrens.

Cain, Colin C.
CAMDEN - Colin Carlos Cain, age 62, of Camden, and formerly of Delmar, passed away September 13, 2006 at his brother's home in Camden.
Born in Lakewood, Florida, he was a son of the late Carl Cain and Johnnie Celatka.
Colin proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. After returning from Vietnam, he worked as a truck driver for many years.
He is survived by a brother, Conrad Cain and his wife Karen, and their children, Justin, Jason, Catlin and Carson; a sister, Delores VonHaven and her husband Ellis, and their children, Cassandra, Josh and Tahnee; a brother, Philip Celatka and his wife Dorothy, and their children, John and Joanna; a brother, Edward Celatka and his wife Elmarie, and their daughter; Rachel Yunk; a sister, Emily Mano and her husband Butch; a brother Frank Celatka and his wife Sally, and their children; Erica, Danielle and Gabrielle; and a brother Kenneth Cain and his wife Deborah, and their children; Denise, Aaron and Zoey.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar, where family and friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30. The Reverend Dan Burton will officiate. Interment with military honors will be held at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
Abrams, Marilynn K.
Marilynn K. Abrams, 55, of Wilmington went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at Wilmington Hospital.
Mrs. Abrams was a customer service representative for Household Bank for three years and for Southern California Edison for fourteen years. She also worked three years for AIG and served as a photographer in the U.S. Navy. Marilynn graduated from Delaware Technical and Community College in 1993 where she was the president of Phi Beta Kappa. Marilynn was an active volunteer for the Red Cross in the Blood Mobile and for the Jesus House. She was a member of the Parish of the Resurrection and had taught Sunday school when she lived in California. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Marie (Castro) Smalley and her sister, Joanne Ziegler.
Marilynn is survived by her husband of 16 years, Gerald B. Abrams; her sons, Robert Smalley and his partner, Jerry Sweeney of St. Paul, MN and Brian Abrams of Wilmington; her daughters, Andrea Margerison and her husband, Shawn of Newark and Caroline Abrams of Wilmington; her brothers, Thomas Smalley of Covina, CA and Rick Smalley of Bullhead City, AZ; and her sister, Cara Foster of Wickenburg, AZ.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday morning at 10 AM at the Parish of the Resurrection Church, 3000 Videre Drive, Skyline Ridge. Friends may call at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, Limestone and Milltown Roads on Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Burial in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be held privately. Kane, Patrick J.
Patrick J. Kane, of Clayton, formerly of Laurel, MD and Riverdale, MD, passed away on Sunday June 8, 2008 at his daughter's home with his family by his side. He was 85.
He was born in Washington, DC, the son of the late Frank and Ellen Kane.
Mr. Kane was raised in the Georgetown section of Washington, and was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II, serving a tour of duty in Italy.
He was a thirty-year civil service employee serving as an inspector for the U.S. Navy. He retired in 1973.
Mr. Kane was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Theophane "Teddy" Kane.
He is survived by a daughter Sharon Purdy and her husband William, of Clayton; four grandchildren, Neil Little and his wife Jaime; Jonathan Purdy and his wife Melody; Jeffrey Purdy; Donald Purdy; and several nieces and nephews left to cherish his memory.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to everyone at Delaware Hospice.
Services and interment will be privately held at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
