Haught, Kelly A. Ulp
Kelly A. Ulp Haught passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, January 17, 2011 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was 35.
Kelly was born on June 24, 1975 in Jacksonville, FL.
She was a graduate of Caesar Rodney Highschool and attended Oregon State University with a musical scholarship.
She worked at J.W.'s Restaurant and Bar as manager/bartender.
Kelly's hobbies included watersports, music, playing the French horn, watching romantic comedies and traveling.
She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Kelly was very active in her son Aidan's school and his activities, and participating in Relay for Life.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Paul and Florence Hoovler, George and Eva Ulp, Ray and Delores Haught, Buck and Sandy Wilburn, Uncle Paul Hoovler and a cousin Ed Hoovler.
Kelly is survived by her husband of two years and nine months TSgt. Duane Haught USAF, parents Patricia Hoovler Ulp of Dover, James and Gail Ulp of Virginia, like parents in care and love George and Sally Pippin of Camden, Pat and Carol Porcelli of New Jersey, children Aidan Donohue, Alexis Haught and Benjamin Haught, siblings Les and Melanie Settle of Delaware, Andy and Stephanie Belk of NC, nieces and nephews Alicia Vallenavedo, Alex and Ashley Settle, Zachary and Madison Belk, aunts and uncles Michael and Andrea Hoovler, Jeff and Pam Hoovler, Kate Sundstrom, Bill and Ruth Thompson, Dave and Sue Ulp, Dave and Kay Walker, Donna Ulp, Henry and Linda Briggs, cousins Peg Vincent, Carrie Hoovler, Paul Hoovler, Timothy Hoovler, Rebecca Hoovler, Craig Hoovler, Eric Sundstrom Jr., Chris Ulp, Stephanie Sturmfels, Mike Walker, Jeff Walker, Carolyn Vanderweghe, Kathy Falcone, Jeremy and April Cushman, Charlie Briggs and her special pets Izzy Hanna and Bella Luna, her second family of coworkers and friends at JW's Restaurant.
Services will be 7:00 pm Friday, January 21 at the Wyoming United Methodist Church, 216 Wyoming Mill Rd., Dover, where visitation and viewing will begin at 5:00 pm. Burial will be private.
Flowers are appreciated, but the family suggests Kelly would prefer gifts in her memory to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901.
Hoffstein, Stanley M.
Army
Stanley M. Hoffstein, 87, who is now home in heaven passed quietly in his sleep on January 18, 2011.
Mr. Hoffstein was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 11, 1923, son of the late Albert H. and Clara M. Hoffstein.
As a young man, he proudly served his country in the US Army and received both the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal and Good Conduct WWII Victory Medal, with pending award of the Purple Heart.
He was a lifelong member of the Washington Lodge of Wilmington, DE and attended the Capitol Baptist Church of Dover.
He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Art, University of Pennsylvania, and earned a Master's degree from the University of Delaware.
Stan worked primarily in industrial design and held several patents for his work at International Laytex in Dover, DE.
Additionally, he worked as an industrial arts educator at Smyrna High School and Polytech, Woodside.
He is survived by his wife Nancy P. Hoffstein, three children, Mark Hoffstein, Kurt Hoffstein, Beth Sowden, stepdaughter Karen S. Powell, a brother Jules (Ace) Hoffstein, seven grandchildren and a niece.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 24, at 11 am, at the Capitol Baptist Church, 401 Kesselring Ave., Dover.
Burial service will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Veterans Cemetery, Bear.

Parker, Pauline Patricia
Pauline Patricia Parker, 83, died after a battle with cancer on November 9, 2010 in her daughter's home with her family by her side.
Mrs. Parker was born in 1926 in Lowestoft, England, and moved to the States in 1991 to make her home with her daughter Catherine Palmer.
Her greatest joy was to live with and watch her three grandchildren, Whitney, Sarah, and Daniel grow up.
She poured her love into many children as she helped with her daughter's daycare.
Truly a devoted nanny to many, she was loved by all and will be sorely missed.
She loved welcoming new babies into the church with handmade crocheted and knitted sweaters.
Some favorite hobbies were reading, gardening, and listening to hymns.
She was a Braves fan and loved a good game of Bingo.
Pauline always thought of others and had a sacrificial, giving spirit.
Her laughter and smile, and strong zest for life were contagious.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends from church, and special friends, Velda, Pete, and Grace Wieczorek were like another family to her.
Mrs. Parker is preceded in death by her husband, John, who died 44 years ago.
She raised five children on her own and was an amazing mother and grandmother.
She leaves behind her five children Paul and wife Tracy, Michael and wife Carola, Julie and husband Jeffery, Jayne and husband Robert, and Catherine and husband Daniel, and her 10 grandchildren Cherie and Nicholas Nelson, Jason and Marie Parker, Andrew and Karina Parker, Jonathan Ellis, and Whitney and her fiance Andrew, Daniel, and Sarah Palmer, her twin sister Mary, and brother-in-law Collin Crawley, and her sisters Lillian and Monica.
She will be greatly missed by them all.
A service will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, November 13 at Dover First Seventh-day Adventist Church, 647 Wyoming Ave., Dover, where viewing will be held one hour earlier. Burial will be private.

Paul L. Cahall
Age 72, of Newark, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at his home.
He was a retired locksmith and served his country as a U.S. Marine during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Millicent, two sons, Patrick A. and Thomas M., a sister, Delores Ann Scipione, and 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services are private. Arrangements by Mealey Funeral Homes.
Mayo, Jr., Alfred E.
Air Force
Alfred E. Mayo, Jr. of Magnolia passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 in Kent General Hospital, Dover.
He was 72.
Alfred was born on February 7, 1938 in Concord, NH, son of the late Alfred and Ida Mayo.
He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant.
He later worked in finance for Civil Service for 10 years.
Alfred enjoyed wood carving, painting, playing cribbage and pinochle.
He also belonged to the "6th Weather Mob."
He is preceded in death by a son Shawn Sweeney.
Alfred is survived by his wife of 39 years Jeanette Mayo, six children Timothy Sweeney of Magnolia, Terry Campbell and her husband Bruce of Camden, Jonathan Mayo and his wife Janice of Magnolia, Michael Mayo and his wife Doris of Boscawen, NH, Brian O'Reilly and his wife Karen of Penacook, NH and Colleen Mayo of Dover, two sisters Edwina Benoit and her husband Lester of Penacook, NH and Dorothy Shattuck of Penacook, NH, seven grandchildren Angel Bradshaw of Baltimore, MD, Timothy C. Sweeney of Camden, Amanda and Emily Campbell of Camden, Cindi Lu Mayo of Boscawen, NH, Tyler and Jared Mayo of Magnolia.
A service of honor and committal will be 11 am Thursday, December 23, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 100 Patriots Way, Millsboro.

Ciliberti, James J.
Air Force
James J. Ciliberti of Dover passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 in Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 88.
James was born on December 12, 1921 in Reading, PA, son of the late Anthony and Catherine Ciliberti.
He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force retiring with the rank of MSgt.
James received a certificate of achievement for Airman of the World for flying more than one million miles.
He enjoyed attending reunions of the 5th Air Force 90th Bomber Group.
After his retirement from the Air Force, he was a successful building contractor and had owned Busy Bee Builders.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing. James was a member of the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge, #203, Camden VFW and the NRA.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Marie King Ciliberti.
He is survived by his daughter Suzanne Urey Barlow and her husband John of Dover with whom he lived, son Paul Urey and his wife Margaret of CA, son Kenneth Newberg and his wife Linda of Smyrna, five grandchildren Tammy Kresge, Barbara, Stacey, Dorothy and Kasey, six great grandchildren Justin Reitzel, Joshua Kresge, Tabitha, Zachary, Makenzie and Brandon and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Service will be 1 pm Tuesday, November 16 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather one hour earlier.
Burial with full military honors will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
