Florence DaVia
Age 97, of Wilmington, DE, died on February 8, 2007, at the Franciscan Care Center, Brackenville.
Mrs. DaVia was a graduate of Wilmington HS. She was a homemaker and a member of the BVM Sodality, St Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, and the Ladies Auxilliary of the Catholic Men's Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A., in 1966. She is survived by her son, Joseph E. DaVia and his wife, Carmelina of Landenberg, PA; daughter, Anita Brown and her husband, Jerry of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, Joseph DaVia, Stephanie Marcil, Dorina Keffer, Susan Stavinoha, Karen Nilles, and David Brown; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:45 am on Wednesday, February 14, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, where friends may visit from 9-10:30 am. Interment will be held in Cathedral cemetery.

William J. Dixon, Jr.
Age 74, of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Norwood, PA, passed away Friday, February 9, 2007, at Beebe Medical Center, in Lewes, DE.
Born and raised in Philadel-phia, PA, he has been a resident of Millsboro, DE, for the past 12 years. He was a son of the late William J. Sr. and Marie Mullen Dixon. He was employed as Graphic Artist for Lincoln Graphics, in Cherry Hill, NJ for 45 years retiring in 1995. After his retirement, he worked in security at the Pot-Nets Community in Millsboro, DE. He was a former member of St. Gabriels Church, in Norwood, PA, a member of Mary, Mother of Peace RC Church, in Millsboro where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Burke Council. He was also a member of the local union #14. Bill was a wonderful husband who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life including fishing and reading. He was a devoted husband, father & grandfather.
He is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Linda Anne Dixon; and 1 brother, Jack Dixon, who died in 2005. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ruth M. Teetz Dixon; 3 children, Maureen Manlove and her husband, Kenneth, of Newark, DE, William J. Dixon and his wife, Melodee, of Pine Island, MN & Patricia A. Pagano and her husband, Peter Jr., of Glen Mills, PA; 2 brothers, Robert Dixon, of Millsboro, DE and Joseph Dixon, of Norristown, PA; 1 sister, Marie Bucci, of Harleysville, PA; 8 grandchildren, Glenn, Peter III, Renae & Nicholas Pagano & Ashlie, Sam, Kristen & Bill Dixon; 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Liturgy Service Monday evening, 8:30 pm, at the PAGANO FUNERAL HOME, 3711 Foulk Rd., Bethel Twp., PA, where friends may call from 7-8:30 pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Elizabeth A. (Woznicki) Faraone
Age 81, of Elsmere, DE, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 7, 2007, surrounded by her family.
Born in Wilmington, Mrs. Faraone was the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel (Witkowski) Woznicki and wife of the late Louis John "Chick" Faraone, who predeceased her in 1998, after 51 years of marriage. A devoted mother, beloved grandmother and great grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Louis J., Jr. and Darlene Faraone, of Bear; her daughters, Charlotte A. Anderson and Denise E. Faraone, both of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Dominic and his wife, Lauren, Richard and his wife, Cathy, Louis J., III, and Melissa Anderson; her great-grandchildren, Jack, Kate, Bobby and Annie; and her brother, Casimir Woznicki, of Newark.

Frances A. Hales "Tubby"
Frances A. Hales, age 94, a lifelong resident of Christiana, DE, passed away Saturday February 10, 2007, at Union Hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Hales was born on March 14, 1912, the daughter of the late Ernest and Rachel Louth. A lifelong member of Christiana United Methodist Church, she had a deep faith and love of the Lord. Until her death, Frances had more active years than any Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary member in the state of Delaware. She delivered meals on wheels until her 90th year and enjoyed canning and traveled extensively. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. This remarkable woman will be missed by countless friends and family members. Her favorite quote, which summed up her philosophy of life was, "pray about it and leave it in the hands of the Lord".
She is survived by her 2 sons, Raymond Hales and his wife, Betty, of Elkton, MD and Charles Hales and his wife, June, of Christiana, DE; 7 grandchildren, Sally Cole, Raymond Hales, Jr., Chris Hales, Christina Hales, Karen Angelo, Kevin Wyatt and Kenneth Wyatt; 4 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry S. Hales.
A funeral service will be held at Christiana United Methodist Church, 21 W. Main St., Christiana, DE, on Thursday, February 15, at 11 am. Friends and family may call at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 W. Main St., Newark, DE 19711 on Wednesday February 14, from 7-9 pm. Burial will be in Christiana Presbyterian cemetery.

Warren G. Kline
Age 76, of Newark, DE, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 8, 2007.
Mr. Kline served in the Army National Guard. He worked in the maintenance department at Independence Mall and Ramada Inn. Mr. Kline enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and taking trips to Atlantic City, NJ.
Mr. Kline leaves to cherish his memory 3 sons, Warren G. Kline, Jr., Keith T. Kline, and David J. Kline; a daughter, Diane Townsend; 2 brothers, Louis Kline and Martin Kline; 3 sisters, Margaret Hrincevich, Patsy Ardo and Gloria Mauser; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora M. Kline; a son, Anthony Kline; and a brother, Norman Kline.

Age 93, of Cochranville, PA, formerly of Allentown, PA & Wilmington, DE, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2007, at her residence.
She was the wife of the late Stephen Koenig, who passed away in 1981 and with whom she shared 47 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Keglovitz Csekitz. She was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, in West Grove, PA and a former member of Sacred Heart Church, in Allentown, PA, where she belonged to the Altar Rosary Society. She volunteered at Sacred Heart Hospital. A seamstress for many years until retiring in 1975, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting and needlework. She also enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include her son, Robert S. Koenig and his wife, Mary, of Cochranville, PA; 2 grandsons, Robert and Michael; & 2 great grand children.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Tuesday, February 13, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 300 State Road, West Grove, PA 19390. Interment will be at 11 am, on Wednesday, February 14, in Sacred Heart Church cemetery, Mundy Lane & Fullerton Avenue, Allentown, PA.

Lewis A. Rachelli "Sonny"
Age 77, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2007.
Sonny started caddying at age 11 at the Wilmington Country Club and at age 20 he was appointed the assistant golf pro, working there for 20 years. In January 1969 he was appointed head golf pro by the Mayor of Wilmington, Harry Haskell, at Greenhill Golf Course for 14 years retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Mary Magdelen Church.
Sonny is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marie E. Rachelli; 2 children, Louis A. Rachelli and his wife, Ann Marie, of Port St. Lucie, FL and Gina Kapa and her husband, Bob, of Wilmington, DE; and 4 grandchildren, Derek and Dane Rachelli, and Ryan and Adam Kapa.
Family and friends may call at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike, Talleyville (just South of Silverside Rd.) on Wednesday evening, February 14, from 6-8 pm.
