In New Haven, Oct. 17, 2000, Eudora Anna Yale Ford, 86, of 414 Second Ave., West Haven she was the wife of the late Edward Ford. Sister of Elizabeth Yale of West Haven, Phyllis Gale of New Haven and the late Frederick Yale. Aunt of Sidney F. Gale of Guilford, William Yale, Frederick Yale IV both of West Haven, Nancy Yale Dendas of East Haven and Jere Gale of New Haven. She was born in New Haven, July 2, 1914 a daugher of the late Frederick and Eudora Traver Yale. She was a manager in accounting systems training at SNET where she had worked for 40 years retiring in 1980. She was a lifelong resident of West Haven and was a member of Christ Church.

Hamden High School and received an associates degree from Boston University. He was a Central Office Technician for S.N.E.T. prior to his retirement in 1991. Mr. Steele was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

In New Haven, October 2, 2000, Arthur William Bailey of 42 Revere St., husband of Irene West Bailey. He was born in New Haven, Dec. 30, 1926, son of the late Frank B. and Olive Bradley Bailey, he was a painting estimator, retiring from the Waterworth Co. of Waterbury in 1992. He served with the Military Police, U.S. Army during W.W. II, and was a member of The East Pearl Street United Methodist Church, having served as a Lay Leader and Financial Secretary. A lifelong resident of New Haven, he was also a member of Adelphi - Momauguin Lodge # 63, A.F. & A.M. Beside his wife, he is survived by daughters: Charlotte McIntire of Gulfport, MS and Carol Meeker of New Haven, sons, Lawrence and Wayne Bailey both of North Haven, a brother Kenneth Bailey of East Haven and 7 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Arthur W. Bailey, Jr., two sisters, Mary Clough and Ruth Demarcyk and brother Frank "Buddy" Bailey.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 5, at the East Pearl Street United Methodist Church at 10 A.M. In Branford, December 22, 2000. Edith Iversen Anderson, of 16 Seminole Ave, Hamden, wife of the late Allen G. Anderson. Mother of Susan Elisabeth Nordli of Portland. ME, A. Peter Anderson of Southington and Kurt Anderson of North Haven.
Survived by 6 grandchildren. Born in Vamdrup, Denmark, Feb. 23, 1917, daughter of the late Hans Gejl and Marie Elisabeth Lund Iversen. She worked as an inspector for Mossburg and Sons for several years.

Gina Helena Agnoli, widow of Henry Angelo Agnoli and daughter of the late Edmondo and Regina DellaPace, died peacefully at her home at the age of 88 in Orange on January 30, 2001.
She was born in Pieve Di Soligo, Italy on March 9, 1912. Gina was the loving mother and best friend to her daughter, Priscilla Agnoli of Orange, with whom she resided, and son Arnold Agnoli and daughter-in-law Lynnette Agnoli of Vernon, CT. She is also survived by three loving grandchildren Mark Agnoli of Cromwell, CT, Danielle Agnoli of Danbury, CT and Jennifer Agnoli in the Netherlands. She was predeceased by her sisters, Lea Sacol of Argentina, Ada Salvini, Yolanda Bagnara, Giuseppe DellaPace and Julio DellaPace and several nieces and nephews in Italy.
She was a member of the Holy Infant Women's Guild for many years and a communicant at the Holy Infant Church. She also served on the Mother's Club for Notre Dame High School.

In Wallingford, March 8, 2001, Fannie Crook Alling, 93, wife of the late Frederick Alling.
Mother of Edward H. Alling of Flanders, NJ and Judith Cogswell of South Dennis, MA, also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Ruth Dorothy Crook. She was born in North Haven, where she lived most of her life, Aug. 12, 1907 a daughter of the late Edward John & Jennie Wilson Crook. She moved to Whitney Ave., Hamden in 1980 and more recently to the Masonic Home. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, New Haven where she was active in the Altar Guild and the St. Elizabeth Society of the Church. She was a member of Alice Chapter # 76 O.E.S. and the Pardee Garden Club.

Suddenly in New Haven, April 16, 2001 CT State Trooper David F. Anderson, 29, of Church Street, Hamden, son of Fred and Barbara Hughes Anderson of Hamden, fiance of Jennifer Lasse of Bethany, father of Rachel Lynn Anderson of Bethany, brother of Martin H. Anderson of Stratford and Andrea L. Anderson of East Haven, uncle of Edwin Reboyraz of East Haven. A graduate of Hamden High School class of 1990, attended Univ. of New Haven were he became a Campus Policeman and later joined the Yale Univ. Police, for the past four years he was a CT State Trooper.
Funeral service will be held at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Friday, April 20 at 11 AM. Friends may call Thurs. from 4-8 p.m. Interment in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden. Contributions may be made to a scholarship fund to be estabished for his daughter Rachel Lynn Anderson.

In New Haven, Dec.3, 2001, Helen Condon Abbott, 91, of 138 Highland Ave., West Haven. Mother of Linda Ann Proto, Dale D. Abbott both of West Haven, Donald F. Abbott of Flager, FL and the late Richard W. and James Abbott. Sister of Donald F. Condon of Sarasota, FL and the late Frederick Condon. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was born in Newburyport, MA, Sept. 29, 1910, daughter of the late Samuel and Nellie McGrath Condon, was a graduate of St. Mary School, New Haven class of 1928. She had been a private secretary at the Knights of Columbus and retired in 1971. Prior to that she was a secretary to the Vice Pres. of Bilco Door Co. A member of the Marine Corps Aux. for 12 years and also an accomplished pianist.

In New Haven, John Hyde Chatfield, 82, husband of Elizabeth Judd Chatfield for 57 years of North Pease Rd., Woodbridge, passed away in St. Raphael Hospital June 2, 2002 after a brief illness. He was born in New Haven a son of the late Russell E. and Elizabeth McIntosh Chatfield and was a resident of Woodbridge for many years. Mr. Chatfield owned the Mayberry Insurance Company of Seymour and was a member of the First Church of Christ of Woodbridge. He had served as President of the Woodbridge Park Assoc. and was on the Wetlands Commission and the Conservation Commission of Woodbridge. He served in the Merchant Marines for 5 years during WW II and was a member of the V.F.W. Post # 2871 of Woodbridge. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Susan C. Miller and her husband Theodore Miller of West Swanzey, NH, a brother Minotte M. Chatfield, of Allentown, PA, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held in the First Church of Christ in Woodbridge, Sat., June 8 at 11 a.m. Rev. Boyd Johnson will officiate. Hamden - Valentine E. Dyer, of Green Hill Rd., husband of the late Kathryn T. Dyer, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on April 27, 2002 after a brief illness. He was born in Passaic, NJ on November 20, 1912, a son of the late Edward Everastus and Mary Catherine Dyer and resided in Hamden for 55 years. Colonel Dyer served in the United States Army (active duty and reserves) for 30 years. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York in 1934 and was a life time professional engineer.
Colonel Dyer is survived by two sons, Ronald Carl Dyer of Gig Harbor, WA and Gregory Paul Dyer of New York, NY and a granddaughter.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Aedan's Church, 112 Fountain Street, New Haven on Saturday June 1, 2002 at 11:00 A.M.
