Mother of Albert 'Butch' Bahnsen of Branford. Aunt of Sharon Sullivan and Maureen Paier; great-aunt of Jillian Caiafa; sister-in-law of Edward Bahnsen; and dear friend of Kevin O'Donnell.
Pre-deceased by a sister, Margaret Sullivan, and brothers Thomas, John and Anthony Sullivan.
She was born in New Haven July 7, 1930, daughter of the late John and Delia Sullivan. Along with her husband she owned and operated a farm on Route 139 in Branford, where she was known as the 'egg lady.'
Friends are invited to a funeral service Monday evening at 7:00 in the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford, and may call prior to the funeral from 6 - 7 PM. Burial will be private.

In Branford, October 4, 2005, Alcide (Al) Joseph Bedard of 93 Bradley St. Branford. Husband of Louise Maio Bedard. Father of Gregory Bedard of Florida and Scott Bedard of Coventry, Ct. Step-father of Deborah Baum, Adele & Cathy Maio, Bonnie Nemit, and Thomas, Albert, Mark, and Robert Maio. Brother of Robert Bedard of Rhode Island, William Bedard of Florida, and Elaine Yasevac of Branford. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by sisters Blanche Crowley and Alice Swenson, and granddaughter Dawn Kiley. Mr. Bedard was born in Branford on January 2, 1937, a son of the late Alcide and Jessie Verboski Bedard. He was a foreman at Atlantic Wire Co. in Branford for 30 years. His family wishes to give special thanks to Bonnie for keeping his gardens growing.
Friends are invited to a memorial wake on Friday from 5-7 P.M. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St. Branford, with a prayer service at 7:00. Burial will be private.

Mother of Carol Stewart of Branford, and Gail Freitas of Bridgewater, MA. Step-mother of Janet Markowicz of North Haven and James Bennett of OH. Sister of Joyce Nobile of Branford and Miriam Petersen of Fort Walton Beach, FL. Also survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was born September 19, 1929 in New Haven, daughter of the late Stanley and Miriam Barnes Cudgma. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Clipper Ship Book Store in Essex. She belonged to the Grace Episcopal Church of Old Saybrook and the Essex Auxiliary 6726 of VFW.
Friends are invited to a memorial service Friday at noon in the Grace Episcopal Church, 336 Main St., Old Saybrook. There are no calling hours.

Also survived by Caroyl's family, mother Betty Hickey and sister Brenda Murphy. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Mary Lou Nuzzo, Belle Rose Crisci and Dolores Migliore.
She was born in Branford, daughter of the late Dominic J. and Mary D'Onofrio Barba, and was a lifelong resident of Branford and communicant of St. Mary Church. She was retired from Turbine Components in Branford, where she had worked as a machinist.
Funeral from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford, Friday morning at 11:00, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 11:30. Burial in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4 - 8 PM.

William H. "Bill" Barlow

William 'Bill' Barlow, beloved father and friend passed away peacefully on Christmas Day 2004, with his daughter Andrea and 'his girl' Jane at his side.
Born April 24, 1935 in Rochester, MA, son of the late Edward Barlow SR and Frances (Davis) Barlow. He worked as a hotel clerk in his younger years, and prior to retiring, at Nutmeg Steel and Kenyon Marine. He was an avid member of TOPS North Branford, greatly enjoyed going to Canoe Brook Senior Center, attending area Bingo games and sitting on the front porch swing with Joe Joe and talking with neighbors passing by.
Besides his daughter, he is survived by a brother Edward Barlow, JR, his 'boy' Joe Joe; best friend Jane AuClaire; special friend/'sister' Judy Caradori and numerous other relatives and friends. He was a selfless, loving and devoted family man, and a kind, loving and generous friend to all. To know him was to love him as he always put others first and used his wonderful sense of humor to always put others at ease.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5:30 - 7:30, with a Memorial Service at 7:00pm, at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford.

She was the mother and mother-in-law of Louis R. Chiocchio, Vincent J. and Christine Chiocchio, Michael A. and Theresa Chiocchio all of Branford and Ralph A. Chiocchio of North Branford. She was the grandmother of Louis, Timothy, Kendra, Ryan, Corey, Caitlin, and Robert Chiocchio. She was pre-deceased by brothers, Joseph, Frank, and Anthony Acunzo.
Mrs. Chiocchio was born June 14, 1924 in New Haven, daughter of the late Raffaele and Adelina D’Andrea Acunzo. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church.
Funeral from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford Wednesday morning at 10:30 with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 11:00. Family and friends may call prior to the mass from 9:30 - 10:30. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Sandy Konesky and her husband Stan, of Branford; Cindy Dest and her husband Louie of Davenport, FL; and Geraldine Cipriani of East Haddam, CT; two grandsons, Stosh and Andrew Konesky of Branford and a sister, Dolores Borzillo of Branford. She was pre-deceased by a brother Jack Borzillo and a sister Therese Huzar.
